Summer can be very hot in southern taibei where the temperature usually goes up to 32"C or more. Because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. Also because of this I stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky. Actually I like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. In the summer vacation that has just ended I went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. This summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. As a second-year senior student I had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. In other words, I must find time to study, too. So I divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

I spent this summer vacation in quite a different way. I used to run about every day in previous summer vacations, but this summer vacation I simply could not afford to do so. I would soon be in the last year of my high-school education and would after graduation be up against the college entrance examinations. Though those examinations were still a year away, I had to start early to make myself well prepared by reviewing all those things I had learned at school and this summer vacation was the ideal time for me to do this. At first I was rather dismayed at the thought of this, but later I thought it was better this way because by working hard this summer I could count on endless happy summers to come. With this in mind I then set to work like anything and only occasionally went out for a change or did some physical. I was not at all bored by this kind of life, for I was sustained by a hope.

我有好多话想说，却又不知从何说起了，也许我也说不清楚，不会说了，因为我发现无形之中我丢了很多东西，其中就包括我的杂志，现在我要将它们一点点地找回。

先看一首我在我的杂志上读到了小诗吧，叫作《幸福》。

要用一辈子去学习

蓝天下，一位母亲带着儿子

去为别人谋幸福的欢欣

要用一辈子去理解

那运河上暗下来的夜色

和那片杉树林里的寂静、安宁......

我想那个为别人谋取欢欣的应该是母亲。所以做孩子的不应该让她伤心。她会在我令她失望的时候痛苦，我曾读过一篇文《扭曲的母亲》，不得不承认很多母亲都是寄托了太多的美好在他们的孩子身上，她们不允许孩子成绩不好，唠叨总是像一盆污水铺天盖地朝你泼来。当我烦到不行的时候，我便不再说话，等到冲动退去我再静下来好好的想，还是不管怎么样，即使过分也好，那妈妈也是为了我好。我只是有一点不明白，歌里唱的：有人哭，有人笑，有人输，有人老。可我为了妈妈一定不能做那个输得。我必须拼尽全力，因为我发现她不是伤心了，而是痛苦，真的，那也叫我感到很不安很痛苦了。

也许，我每次都想正视正视自己，但却很久都不曾真正的正视自己了，其实人不知不觉中就在改变。甚至都面目全非了你才发觉呢。首先，是我的杂志，这也许算不上什么好习惯，但我喜欢，这个理由足够么?我现在也想不明白为什么当时上了高中就把我的这个朋友丢了呢，现在觉得他的离开是那么的不习惯。半年了，没怎么静下来好好地读一点文字，我一直浮躁着，就像中考过后的那些无所事事的日子里的状态，但该死的到了这个地步我才发觉，半年了。

时间走过了就是过了，后悔便没有了任何实际的意义。但是，我可以找回我的习惯，我要找回我的习惯。

这几天没有白白宅在家里的。也想明白了怎样解释以前的生活，更重要的是想明白了如何面对今后的生活。我们笑着说不用怕。我的生活不像一潭死水，虽然，一天又一天，我形单影只的呆在一边，我也不明白我为什么那么不合群，可能是我有些古怪了，书里说人的一生总能遇到那样的朋友，也许只有一两个但一定会遇到，是在你没开口就知道你想说什么的朋友，可以一辈子一起走的朋友，我想我也一定可以遇到他吧，只是现在太早，他没有出现，也许他就是kid或者谁谁谁也说不定。虽然现在没人陪我，那我就一个人勇敢的成长，看到其他的同学总能很快和身边的人熟悉起来并走在一起，其实我也并不是没有试过和我身边的人打成一片，只是后来我发现有很多东西不适合我，我做不到。其实敢于与众不同也是一种勇气，对吧。

01.20那天起我没有上网，只出过一次门，我去看望我的初中语文老师了，感觉同一班的距离是那么近又那么的遥不可及。但我老师的鼓励让我听了感到很窝心，那样话我很久都没有听到了，也许人不能靠别人的相信而有所作为，但我却那么脆弱，以及我自己的鼓励总是让我打不起精神，也不知道是为何，但是我更愿意你相信我，那种感觉真好，就像我绝对可以一样，就好像让我一下子抓到了自信一样。

用心计较般般错，退步思量步步宽。记得大概初一的时候就读过冯骥才的那篇文《大度读人》。时间久了，忘得也差不多吧，真是做不到几点。昨天又重读，找到了待人处事的方向，你要用眼睛去看，哪怕是见一次，体味一个人内心的东西。善良的相信别人，不要怀疑人生，那样不好，生命会哭的。即使遇到那些不是那么好的人或者说不合胃口的人也一定要记得不要总是看不惯，这样活的太累，要宽容，宽容就是正直。做个有爱心的人，记得看到老弱残孕要让座，因为我不是上班族，没有下班的疲惫。即使我给那人让了座他不屑看我，觉得理所应当。我要做个有爱心的人，就像小时候的瘦弱的拜伦看到不认识的一个男孩子正在被一个高年级的同学欺负，他哭着对那个高年级的学生生说：“不管你还要打几下，让我替他忍受一半的拳头吧。”就像5岁的杰克看到幼儿园的一个小朋友流鼻血，而那个小朋友不知所措时可以勇敢的站起来说：“芭芭拉小姐，鲍勃受伤了。”要知道那样可能破坏纪律的。就像格拉桑......还有好多好多的好人。

游戏人生。还记得几米的那幅漫画么?我和一条鱼在沙滩上比赛，看谁会先进到水里，我笨重的身体停止不前，而她挣扎着回归到海里。我明白为什么结果会是这样，因为对我来说那只是一场游戏，而对于她来说，那是人生。我们那么多人在学校学习。很多人都是鱼，我也是，芸芸众生中的一条鱼，但我偏偏把学习看作了游戏，当然必输无疑，很可怜么?但如今我知道了那是人生，我是鱼，我决定悔改了，决不再游戏。

就说这些吧。愿明天可以安宁，我会收起曾经沮丧的忧伤的脸还有微薄的信念，在路上，有阳光的地方就有我的微笑。我相信我会幸福的。

Apart from the classes, there are many activities and organizations in the collage. I am active in my campus life.

除了上课，大学里还有好多活动和社团。我在校园生活里非常积极。

I have attended in several organizations, there is the painting and calligraphy associations, English club, climbing club, swimming group and so on. These organizations enrich my campus life. I made many new friends with the same hobbies, we help each other to improve.

我参加了一些社团，有书画社、英语社、登山社、游泳队等等。这些社团丰富了我的校园生活。我交了很多志同道合的朋友，我们相互帮助共同提高。

In the first year of my collage, I joined in a volunteer club. The mission of club is to help those people in need. The first activity I participated was to hold the charity sale to collect the money and donation, then bring them to a primary school into deep mountains. The sales was successful as most of the students supported this charity and donated the money and study materials with kindness. On the weekend we brought all the donations to the primary school, we saw the smile on children’ face, and also saw their poor study condition. I felt myself a heavy responsibility to make the change of it. Since then, I would volunteer to be an English teacher in that school every summer vacation, I also encouraged my friends to do something for those children.

在我大学的第一年我参加了一个爱心社。爱心社的任务是帮助那些需要帮助的人。我参加的第一个活动便是举行一次义卖，然后筹集善款，送到山区里的一个小学。义卖非常成功，学生们都非常支持这样的善举，纷纷献爱情捐钱捐学习用品。周末的时候我们带上所有的物资去到那个小学，我们看到了孩子们脸上的笑容，也看到了他们糟糕的学习条件。我感到自己身上有着改变这里的重大的责任。从那以后，我每年暑假都会志愿去到那个学校当英语老师。我还鼓励朋友们也为那些孩子做些事情。

I think the experience of volunteering makes me realize that the philanthropy is important. I am willing to put myself into the charity career in the future.

我想这些做志愿者的经验让我认识到慈善事业的重要性。我也愿意将来投身到慈善事业中。
