谈论最热烈的就属堆雪人了，提到堆雪人，我兴奋地说：“堆雪人时，我先在雪地里滚了一个大雪球做雪人的身子，再滚了一个小雪球做雪人的头，我又从家里拿来了两个龙眼做雪人的双眸，胡萝卜做雪人的鼻子，不一会儿，一个栩栩如生的雪人呱呱落地，最后我回家找来了一个水桶做雪人的帽子。一看，你们知道怎么了?雪人的眼睛不知被哪家的小谗猫给偷吃了。”听了我的叙述，教室里一阵哄堂大笑。

一、掌握日记的正确格式

英语日记与汉语日记的结构相似，主要由两部分组成，即书端和正文。

1.书端（Heading） 英语日记的书端，是专门记载日期、星期和天气的，这一点与汉语日记相同，但在排列上有所不同。英语日记的书端在正文上边的左边（顶格），从左向右推进。

1）英语日期的写法有两种：

（1）先写某日，次写月份，最后写年份。某日用序数词的缩写形式；除May ， June和July三个月份外，其余各月份均可缩写；年份均用阿拉伯数字书写，但不能把“1991”缩写成“91”等。例如：

15th August 1989

（2）先写月份，次写某日，最后写年份。用这种写法比较普遍。某日用基数词，也可用序数词的缩写形式，但后边须加逗号。例如：

August 15，1989

August 15th，1989

如果在英语日记的书端里要写星期的话，可将其写在日期的前面或后面。例如：

Saturday，October 22nd，1983

October 22nd ，1983，Saturday

2）天气情况

如果书端里还要记载那天的天气，只需用少数的词，如“Fin e”“Cloud y”等形容词表示。天气写在日期之后，须用逗号隔开。如果第一行内写不完，也可以移到第二行去写，但第一行内前边要空格，不可与第二行平头。例如：

Saturday，March 4，1988，Fine but windy in the afternoon 常见的天气用语有：

fine 晴天的 rainy 下雨的 cloudy 阴天的，多云的

hot炎热的 shiny 晴朗的 cold寒冷的

snowy 下雪的 freezing冰冻的foggy 雾的

2．正文（Body） 日记是每日生活的记载。生活的内容广泛，但写作时应有所选择，最好是记下当天有意义，感受最深的东西、不可巨细不分地记流水帐。 记日记的手法灵活，形式多样，它常用叙述的方法，可议论、也可抒情和描写；有话则长，无话则短，甚至于三言两语亦可。

值得一提的是日记的时态选择，由于日记记载的事情通常已经发生，因此谓语动词一般用过去时态。然而，根据实际情况，也可用其他时态。例如：

I went to school at seven this morning．When I got to the classroom，the class had begun ．

When I got home，my mother was cooking．

注意：表示习惯性的动作，客观事实、普遍真理、名言或谚语时，常用一般现在时。

All roads lead to Rome．（条条道路通罗马。）

The sun rises in the east and sets in the west．

She is from Beijing．

今天我到妈妈办公室那儿去，妈妈对我说：“我们今天中午吃西红柿炒粉。”因为我很久没有吃西红柿炒粉了，我一听这话高兴得一蹦三尺高。可妈妈紧接着的一句话又让我泄完了气，妈妈说她忘记买西红柿了。我心想，中午没有西红柿炒粉吃了。这时，妈妈问我说：“小芸，妈妈正在上班，不能去菜市买西红柿。你能自己去买吗?”我从来没有自己到菜市去买过菜，但我想什么事情都有第一次，而且我以前也和妈妈到市场买过菜，想想也没有什么可怕的。于是我接过妈妈递过来的一块钱，哼着歌儿愉快地走向菜市。

春节

在家里翻天覆地的大扫除一番，买上过年吃的杂食：花生、奶糖、瓜子、杏仁等，再买上鱼、肉，新鲜的蔬菜和一些用品，这还不够，还有再买一些长条鞭炮，小炮。这才是准备好了过年。

大年初一，一大早，大家穿上新衣，梳洗一番。准备走亲访友。这是我最喜欢的时候了，因为这时，总可以赚到一叠的压岁钱。首先给长辈拜年，对待不同的人，语言也是不一样的。

我给妈妈拜年时说：“祝我的妈妈越来越美丽，健康快乐。

我对元宵节

将汤圆从滚烫的热水中捞起，盛在一个青花蓝瓷碗中。我是最喜欢吃玫瑰芝麻汤圆的。一团团光滑细腻的玉丸。真吊人胃口。咬一小口嫩滑有弹性的糯米，里面的芝麻与玫瑰馅便流了出来，流进了心田里，那甜味直扩散到全身。汤圆吃完后，心里暖暖的。但汤圆是不可吃多的，总要留一丝留念到下一年。
