2010 World Expo was held in Shanghai. Shanghai Expo theme is "Better City, Better Life." As a student, we should do something about environmental protection. For example, plant trees, save water and less your car.

Protect Our Environment It is important to beal with the rubbish in cities. Our world was colorful,beautiful and full of life. But these years, people have built many factories along rivers. Many trees have been cut down. Many animals have lost their homes. Factories causepollution. Rivers become polluted. As a student, you should do every things in your everyday life to protect them. First, stop wasting more water. Second, throw waste things into different dustbins. For example, waste paper should be throw into paper recyclable bins. Third, stop cutting down trees.Instead, plant more. Fourth, pick up garbage inthe park or on the road when we are free. Last, call on more and more people to pay attention to contrlling pollution.

When weekends come, everyone is happy about that, because they don’t need

to work and can do what they want. Some people will choose to stay at home and

watch TV all the time, some will choose to go shopping, while for me, I’d like

to go out. I want to see the different things and refresh my mood. I always make

some plans for my weekend.

Sometimes I will ask my friends to go to watch the movies or we go out for

the gourmet. I like to see movie so much, watching the movie is like reading a

book, my mind will gain things and I will feel satisfied. Eating the delicious

food is the things I will do mostly, I like to find the new food, and ask my

friends to enjoy it. We will talk happily while eating the delicious food.

I am busy from Monday to Friday, I don’t have much time to take exercise,

so I will go hiking with my friends on weekend. We will bring little food and

take a backpack, heading to the park or beautiful mountain. We can enjoy the

Mine happened when I was five, when my parents took me to the city zoo.

It was a hot summer so most animals were laying down to stay cool.

The old lady let out a high pitched scream and fell down from her seat, sprawling on the cement pavement and passed out.

After swallowing the hamburger, the panther started walking around the cafeteria with many visitors looking at it.

It was a very busy evening, I was doing my homework at my home. My father was writing a composition in the study room. My mother was interested in Shanghai opera. She was watching a Shanghai opera contest. The apartment was very quiet. Suddenly the light went out. It was a blackout, but I liked it very much. It came and I didn’t have to do my homework. We went to the living room very slowly. After 5 minutes, we all sat in the sofa. It was a lucky, fortunate day. I said that let’s held a concert. My parents agreed with me. I took out some candles and lighted up. We were singing, laughing and talking. We had a really good time. But while I was singing, the light suddenly turned on. Oh, my God. Many children are always looking forward to the winter vacation; this is because during the vacation, children needn’t go to school; They can do everything they like, such as playing, watching TV, traveling, or even sleeping all the day and so on. and when winter vacation come on ,it means that spring festival will come on soon.I spent the whole day at home nearly every day, I played with my computer .I played computer games and surfed the internet. during the vacation ,I still stayed in touch with my classmates and my friends.

My Winter Holiday` Plans Well, winter holiday is coming. So whatI am going

to do? I am going to read English books，surf the Internet，play badmintoon every

Shantou for Xiamen with my family and we are going to stay there for ten
