Today, I went to the grandmas home with my father and mother for the Dragon

After a while, we began to pack the zongzi. Each of us picked up three

pieces of bamboo leaves, grabbed a handful of glutinous rice with our hands, put

a cone. Im glad to have a zongzi wrapped up. I said to grandma, "the dumplings

are so simple. Grandma said, "the real bag is not easy!" After finishing the

I still remember the year when I failed the collage entrance exmination.Iwas feeling lost,and no idea about what my life is going to be.My teachet came to me,and she said she understand how I felt inside now.She also told me its very common that students who are like me will go though a hard time. She told me that failure was a part of life, which was not the end but a new beginning. And she encouraged me to go back to the school to start a new. Now Ive graduated from collage and got a very good job.I know all my success owns to my kind teacher. Ill work harder and never give up again.

My father is the best person in the world. He cares about me so much. No

matter how busy he is, he always makes out some time to play with me. Now

Father’s Day is coming soon. I want to give him a surprise. So from now on, I

Cars and Air Pollution

Too many cars have created a lot of serious problems in our world. Besides congestion, accidents and fast fuel consumption, cars are responsible for a good part of air pollution in big cities. All the time, they are pumping huge amounts of waste gases into the atmosphere. These gases are very harmful, causing disease and even death.

One possible solution is to design and develop clean cars and clean fuels. In Shanghai, some of the public buses begin to run on natural gas, which does not give off as much carbon dioxide as the petrol. But it may take decades for the new models of clean cars completely replace the traditional ones. Another solution is to develop modern public transportation systems and restrict the use of private cars. Favorite Spring Festival is the most important festival in China .Its to

celebrate the lunar calendar s new year .

In the evening before the Spring Festival ,families get together and have a

big meal .In many places people like to set off firecrackers .Dumplings are the

most traditional food .

Children like the festival very much ,because they can have delicious food

and wear new clothes .They can also get some money from their parents. This

money is given to children for good luck .

People put New Year scrolls on the wall for good fortune .

The Spring Festival lasts about 15 days long .People visit relatives and

friends with the words "Have all your wishes ". People enjoy the Spring Festival

This summer holiday, I had travelled to Hong Kong with many other students. We went to Hong Kong by plane. Hong Kong is very small, but there are many people living there.

In Hong Kong, all of the buildings are very tall. There are lots of shops there and you can go shopping until about 11:00 at night. In Hong Kong, things are very expensive, so we only bought a few souvenirs.

We went to lots of places, such as the Avenue of Stars and Ocean Park. I like Ocean Park best. The park is very big. Sitting in the cable car, you can see two hills, lots of different flowers and the sea. Some students were afraid of sitting in the cable car!

We stayed in the Shu Ren College. There are many big trees around it. We had meals in the restaurants, but I didnt like the food.

Hong Kong is very beautiful. I like Hong Kong and I hope to go there again some day.

a long history.there stands Du Fus thatched cottage ,The Temple of Zhugeliang

and some other place of historical interest.They are all so famous that many

foreign tourists like to come here.Chengdu also has a comfortable weather for

people who live in there.Even though in the winter it is still warmer than any

other cities in China.Besides,as Chengdu people are fond of eating,they have

created many delicious food such as hot pan,Three Big guns,and some others.
