轮到我上场了，我跃跃欲试，决心一定要爬上岩顶。我一个劲地往上爬，不知爬了多久，头顶上出现了一块非常光滑的青色岩石，我试了好几次都没办法爬过去。这时候我禁不住往下看去，这一看不要紧，吓得我腿直打哆嗦，原来我已经离地面有差不多20米高了，同学们好像都变得像是小矮人了。这时候，我想起了老师叮嘱我们的话，说是攀岩的时候千万不要往下看，否则容易产生恐惧感。我不敢再往下看了。这时候，同学们不停地喊：“卢煜之，加油!”我想，前面的魏华和张俊杰都爬上去了，我不能输给他们，一定要爬上去。这时候，教练好像看出了我的心思，使劲一拽绳，我借力爬过了最艰难的一块岩石。通过了这一难关，后面的就变得简单了。我一鼓作气爬到了顶点，摇响了胜利的铃铛。

通过这件事，我明白了，人在遇到困难的时候，必须要树立战胜困难的决心和勇气。很多时候，需要战胜的是我们自己。

Since I went to college, I feel so excited about the new chapter of my

life. I have imagined the campus life for so many years. Now I finally come to

this stage. I have much time after class, so I need to learn to deal with it.

After two years’ struggling, I find the right way to spend my time.

The first thing for every college student is to learn major knowledge. In

China, so many students think college time is used to play instead of study, so

they skip class. This is a big mistake. College is the stage for students to

master practical skills, which decides what kind of job they will work on. So I

study very hard from Monday to Friday. I don’t want to miss the important

knowledge.

The second thing for college students is to join the after-class

activities. Joining the activities can not only learn more skills, such as dance

and sports, but also can make friends. Campus is like a small society. Students

need to learn to make connections with other students, so that they can win more

chances. I learn a lot from my new friends and know how to communicate.

Dream

God puts dreams in our hearts. So, we must dream. We lose our sorrows and heartaches in dreams. And we live our fantasies in dreams. Some dreams are aborted while some come true.

Most mornings, Id sit by the Lake in my neighborhood just to witness the awesomeness of God; to be marveled at what Mother Nature is about to unfold... to shower us with her magnificence. The squirrels too gather by the edge of the Lake. The birds float effortlessly, circling the Lake in a beautiful ballet. The gators stand in awe. Yes, the gators! The leaves on the trees would suddenly stop their slow dance. Just like me, they are patiently awaiting for the grand entrance of the sun. The moon must go. Yes, the moon must go... to make room for the sun to rise. The sound of the gentle breeze is soothing, almost musical. I am filled with joy. I cannot describe the feeling of this awesomeness. Behind those clouds, the sun awaits... waiting for the heavenly command. The ritual is in full bloom. Then I see a slice of sunlight, wafting through the clouds. Suddenly, the entire horizon is brightened, and the sun finally takes the center stage. Right there, I am still... humbled... to listen to God speak into my soul. When Hes done, then, I share with Him all that my heart desires.
