When asked about their opinion of career and family, people always respond differently. Some people deem it more important to pursue their career, while there are always other people who argue that family should be the number one in one’s life.

It goes without any question that career plays a key role in our life. In the very first place, career can give us an aim to live on. Without career, much of our living time will be certainly wasted. What’s more, career can provide us with a means to live on. Most of the people earn their income from a job. On the other hand, family is also an indispensable part of life, as many people will admit. Family is always regarded as a place where we can escape from troubles in life. This years observance of World No Tobacco Day focuses on "Gender and tobacco, with an emphasis on marketing to women".

Another thing we need to work on is our English skills. Teachers and parents often put great emphasis on our English skills especially listening and speaking. What is honesty? Honesty means speaking the truth and being fair and

中国在抗日战争中付出巨大的代价才取得胜利，中国人民自然无法容忍这种倒行逆施的行为。于是各地都掀起了声势壮大的抗议和纪念活动。但近来这些纪念活动在少数激进分子的鼓动下出现了抢日货商店的不理智举动。群众爱国的赤子之心可以理解，但纪念并不是感情的挥霍，非理性举动无益于解决问题。我国领导人多次表达出严正立场，但同时并不关闭中日会晤的大门，“前事不忘，后事之师；以史为鉴，面向未来”无疑就是对过去痛苦最理性，也是最深刻的祭奠。

人不能忘本，“忘记过去意味着背叛”。而高贵的心灵在铭记苦难，咀嚼苦难过后，方能理智地纪念苦难。当纪念的洪波涌动时，勿忘用理性的“闸门”控制情感。

通过一个学期的努力，我的围棋棋力提升的很快。经过两天的紧张地比赛，我终于实现了自己的愿望，成为了一个了不起的围棋业余三段棋手!

刚开始比赛的时候，我的信心不足，只是报着来锻炼锻炼自己的想法。第一局比赛就输了，我更是有心无力。但从第二局比赛开始出现了转机，碰到了一个较弱的对手，我轻轻松松地就赢得了胜利，这时，老师走了过来鼓励地说：“加油，我对你有信心!”，听了老师的话，我立马有了自信和动力，经过一番激烈、艰苦地“斗争”，我终于赢下了第三局!

就这样，接下来的三盘比赛我都赢了，自信心也不断地得到了提升，终于到了最重要、最关键的一盘比赛了，拿下了这局我就能荣升三段了……，我的对手是唐传文，他可是排在前几名的高手，一开始下棋的时候，我忐忑不安，一不小心结果被他“偷袭”了一片，杀入了我的地盘，我紧张地直咬手指，心想这下完蛋了……但我没有被吓倒，我更加全神贯注，小心翼翼地观察棋局，认真分析，沉着应战，终于在收官的时候运气来了，在一个微不足道地小官子中我设下埋伏，他居然没有发现，我心里暗暗偷喜，趁机打吃掉了他的“一条长龙”，这下他的目数不够了，而我也惊险地赢下了这关键的一局比赛。

经过这次比赛，我明白了付出汗水总会有收获，努力总会有结果，关键要自信，“种瓜得瓜，种豆得豆”，你的成败取决于你的平日积累和临场发挥，爱拼才会赢!
