狗也分大小，像吉娃娃犬、博美犬之类的狗，一生就只有小板凳那么高。而有的狗却不一样，像藏獒、松狮犬等，它们长得高大威武，四只脚强壮有力，几乎跟书桌一般高。狗还有很多种类，例如贵宾犬、蝴蝶犬、卷毛比熊犬、中国沙皮犬等等，许多许多。狗睡觉的时候特别喜欢趴在地上，用两只前爪围成一个圈，将整个脸埋进圈里，只把耳朵露在外面。狗为什么要这样做呢？原来，它是为了保护自己的鼻子。狗的鼻子非常灵敏，因为它的鼻子里有一个气味储存库，只要它问过的东西，就不会再忘记那种气味。假如你拿一种物品让狗闻一下，然后把这种物品藏到自己认为别人都做不到的地方，让狗去找，它准能在一个小时内找到。就算你把狗带到几公里外的地方，丢下它，独自一人回家，它也能轻松地找回来。

正因为狗有一个灵敏的鼻子，所以才能我人类看家。那些为人们看门的狗，被人们称为“看家犬”。古往今来，没有哪一只看家犬不是无条件服从主人的命令的。它们一闻到主人的味道就知道主人回来了，便摇着尾巴跑出去迎接主人回家，还用身子蹭主人的裤腿，显得特别乖巧。可当陌生人出现在它们面前时，它们闻到了陌生的味道，便警觉起来，连忙站起身，竖起耳朵，睁大眼睛。一发现陌生人图谋不轨，就“汪汪”直叫，狂吠不止，引起主人的注意，提醒主人。

狗经过训练后还能当警犬，帮助警察破案，它们成了人类生活中的一部分，对人类有很大的帮助。因此，我们要爱护狗。不仅因为它的作用，更重要的是，它还是人类的好朋友。

五月的一天，阳光明媚，瓦蓝瓦蓝的天空上飘着几朵白云，像软绵绵的棉花糖一样。

清晨，小花狗嘻嘻跑出了家门，它的好朋友绵绵邀请它去家里做客，小花狗嘻嘻在街道上走着走着，它在一条狭窄的小路上停了一下，心想：“绵绵是个乖孩子，上次它还帮助过我，我想给它送一个礼物，它一定会很高兴的，可是送什么比较好呢？”小狗开动着小脑筋想着，哈哈！我可以送它一根骨头呀！于是，小狗在大街上跑来跑去，想寻找一根骨头，小狗跑呀跑的呀，终于，小狗嘻嘻找到了一根大大的骨头，它开心的蹦了起来，小狗叼起骨头，立刻往绵绵家跑。

到绵绵家必须要经过一条清澈见底的小河，听着哗哗的流水声，嘻嘻开始有点紧张，但是为了给绵绵送骨头，小狗鼓起勇气大胆地走上了小桥，到了小桥中央，小狗发现桥底下也有一只小狗叼着骨头。小狗心想：“呀！河底下的那只小狗叼的骨头好像比我的骨头大一些。”为了给绵绵一个大骨头，小狗就大吼大叫生气地喊“汪汪汪，快把那根骨头还给我，汪汪。”活音刚落，骨头就“扑通”一声掉到了缓缓流动的小河里，小狗终于明白了那其实是自己的倒影，小狗非常后悔，下次再也不能贪心不足了，嘻嘻只好愁眉苦脸地回家了。

“汪！汪汪！汪！汪汪汪！”“哎呀！妈呀，不就是在你面前吃了一块排骨吗？有必要这么狠吗，旺文？”对了，旺文是我家的一只小狗，它是我生日时王正佳送我的，当时旺文还是一只没有牙齿的小狗，它一直陪我到今天。

旺文全身雪白雪白，滚起来就像台球里的白球一样。耳朵尖尖的，哪边有动静儿就朝向哪边。眼睛小小的，鼻子也是小小的。好吃的小嘴加上尖锐的牙齿，非常完美。走起路来和公主有得一比。

狗的性格十分古怪。说它老实吧，它有时候确实很乖。它会跑到门口，成天睡大觉，无忧无虑，比猪还懒三分，可是它决定要玩就会玩一个东西半天，谁把它的玩具踢走，它就冲着你叫，叫了一会儿又跑去玩玩具了。说它贪玩吧，也是呀，不然怎么会玩一个东西半天呢，可是它又是多么尽职。只要主人叫它看守门，它就屏息凝视一连就是几个钟头，非把主人等回来不可。

旺文很爱吃肉。有一次，我看见旺文只把肉吃了，不吃蔬菜，我就决定要改旺文的食性。我把饭和蔬菜拌在一起，倒在旺文的饭碗里就走啦。中午一回来，我发现旺文在吃肉，我看了一下监控，原来旺文的食性没改成，却练成了新技能，偷肉，直到今天旺文的食性还没改掉。旺文啊，你的食欲花了我们多少钱啊？

旺文，就算我们不在一起，我和你的感情是一直连在一起的。
