Thirdly, we should often read English books. When we come across a new word. We should guess its meaning through the contest first. then look it up in the dictionary to have a check. I thin,, it is a good way of reading.

Fourthly, we should practice our writing skills. Whenever we have any idea, we should get the pen and write it down at once. It is very important to avoid writing in Chinese way and using the Chinese grammar.

As long as we listen, speak, read and write more, we are sure to make remarkable proGREss!

对于我们学生来说，无论是多久的放假，都会是“福”，绝对没人会提到“祸”这个字眼。工人以及其它职业的人也不会例外，可是为什么我会在此提到“祸”这个字呢?

“五一”放假，对于在家休息的人们，那就是福了，而对于出门旅行的人来说，可能就是祸了.那么为什么呢?答案仅有两个字，那就是“人多”。就拿电视上的一则新闻来说吧。帮宫那里，全都是人，仿佛是人的海洋。每个人都是紧挨着的。怎么挤也挤不过去，有的人因此受了伤，有的人，大老远来到北京，可是都没怎么好好地观赏故宫，真是浪费钱呀!

你看那张长城的图片，人山人海，看起来那些人正在拼命地推挤，一直挤压着旁边垛口的地方.我觉得这么多的人，推着长城，我们这古老的长城究竟能撑多久，会不因此倒下呢?大家多多小心呀!

商场里的环境也跟长城，故宫等的差不多.排队买单的人数不胜数，有许多人都是等了好几个小时才排到.有些没耐心，丢下商品走了“五一”放假，收银台的工作人员都放假了，余下的几个怎么忙也忙不过来。啊，真是祸事!

不过凡事都是有祸也有福，那些在家里休息的人们，不用到旅游的地方跟别人推挤。在家里才不费劲，不费钱，不费神。

我并不是说放假就不好，也不是说旅游不好。我的意思是我们应当适当地选择一些比较少人的旅游地去享受一下生活。而不要非去一些名胜古迹游玩不可。这样既费神，又费钱。

最后，我明确两点，如果你听了我的劝告，那么“五一”放假就是福，否则就是祸!
