提起中国，我们常常会引以自豪地说：我们有五千年的悠久历史，有举世闻名的四大发明，有世界上最伟大的防卫工程——长城，有伟大的不朽诗篇——《离骚》，有伟大的长篇小说——《红楼梦》。但是，如果有人问你：除了你们的祖先给你们留下的以外，你们又有多少值得自豪的呢？面对这个问题，我们该如何回答呢？的确，近代以来，长期居于世界领先水平的中华文明衰落了。让我们翻开历史的一页看看百余年的近现代史中华民族所发生的巨变吧！1842年，拥有百万大军的清政府在一万余名海盗式英国远征军的打击下被迫签订了丧权辱国的《南京条约》，中华文明的政治保障丧失；中国建筑艺术的瑰宝，被世人称为“万园之园”的圆明园被英法联军一把火烧毁，《天津条约》便利了西方殖民者对中国的思想文化侵略；旅顺口的大屠杀，台湾的割让，南京城的血雨腥风另多少国人为之心碎。这些历史的耻辱应当铭记在每一位中华儿女的心中。

古老的中华民族在异族的入侵者面前，进行了一次又一次的挣扎、反抗。多少中华民族的优秀儿女，为了求取国家的独立，民族的振兴，抛头颅、撒热血，正是因为有了他们，中华民族才避免了被瓜分的命运。林则徐、孙中山、李大钊、毛泽东永远值得我们铭记。

政治、经济的独立并不等于文化的独立，文化是一个文明的主要内容，没有民族特色的文化的文明犹如一个空壳，就不能称之为文明了。政治、经济为文化的发展提供了保障和基础。政治、经济的独立为文明振兴中华文明提供了必要的条件。但我们并没有利用这个条件去整理我们的文化，振兴我们的文明，相反，我们在如何对待民族文化和外来文化却产生了严重的分歧。

十年 文革，是中华文明的又一次浩劫。文革过后，中国文化界更是不遗余力地“吸取”世界文明成果，并用全套进口的“体系”来裁割文明古老的文明，文明的先辈倘若地下有知，也会被这些“孝子贤孙”们活活气死。

冰心老人曾经伤感地说，中国文化界将在几十年内化为一片沙漠，我没有看到真比你们幸运

的多，一句话点出了当前文化界发展的趋势。中国文化成为沙漠之后，文明引以为自豪的中华文明就成为一个空壳了。

面对这样的形势，我们，中华文明下一代继承人，该怎么办呢？是坐视其沙化还是奋起挽救呢？我的回答是：复兴中华文明。这是时代的要求，是我们全民族共同的心声。只有实现中华文明的全面复兴，才能实现我们民族真正的繁荣、昌盛、团结、强大。

让我们，中华文明的继承人，全世界的炎黄子孙，中华后裔携起手来，为中华文明的全面复兴而奋斗吧！

篇十一：爱国

我，还有在座的每一位同学，作为世界上最坚韧不拔的民族一员，作为炎黄子孙，让我们时刻谨记“勿忘国耻，振兴中华！为中华之崛起而读书！”

我伤心啊！中国清政府在侵略者占领我们的土地时，是那样的软弱，竟然任由那些可恶的强匪在中国的土地上横行霸道，却无动于衷，令人悲痛，令人悲愤啊！

同学们，我们伟大的祖国历经沧桑，历尽磨难，自从1840年以来中国人民就饱受帝国主义的侵略和奴役；中国被迫签订了一系列不平等条约，割让“香港、澳门”；八国联军和英法联军侵入北京，闯进圆明园，火烧圆明园……

Last week, I took part in an English speech contest which was held by our teachers. There were twelve students in the final contest. I was one of them.

Fifteen minutes before my turn, I picked my topic and prepared for it. I wrote down the outlines and organized what I was going to say. However, when I stood in front of all judges and students, I was extremely nervous. My mind was totally empty.
