大家好！大家对我应该都不陌生吧？我就是大名鼎鼎，名副其实的空气杀手——雾霾，人称“pm2·5”。

我无处不在。在大大小小的烟囱里，在汽车排放的尾气里，在焚烧的垃圾堆里，在钢铁厂、水泥厂等等。我四处徘徊，任意游荡，趁你不注意我就会偷偷钻入你的身体。

我最喜欢破坏环境了。把天空弄得灰蒙蒙，是我的强项，连万物之源太阳都要让我三分。许多贫困地区资源本来就少，我一来，那些资源和食物就被我糟蹋得乱七八糟了，我却站在空中幸灾乐祸。有些大城市尽管制定出了很多措施想要制约我，不过，他们可不是我的对手，杭州西湖美丽的雾景你们见过吗？有没有让你发出”山色空蒙雨亦奇”的感叹呢？哈哈，其实大部分时间那都不是雾，而是我——雾霾！

一般相对湿度小于80%时的大气混浊视野模糊导致的能见度恶化是霾造成的，相对湿度大于90%时的大气混浊视野模糊导致的能见度恶化是雾造成的，相对湿度介于80-90%之间时的大气混浊视野模糊导致的能见度恶化是霾和雾的混合物共同造成的，但其主要成分是霾。霾的厚度比较厚，可达1-3公里左右。霾与雾、云不一样，与晴空区之间没有明显的边界，霾粒子的分布比较均匀，而且灰霾粒子的尺度比较小，从0。001微米到10微米，平均直径大约在1-2微米左右，肉眼看不到空中飘浮的颗粒物。由于灰尘、硫酸、硝酸等粒子组成的霾，其散射波长较长的光比较多，因而霾看起来呈黄色或橙灰色。

雾霾形成有三个要素：一是生成颗粒性扬尘的物理基源。我国有世界上最大的黄土平高原地区，其土壤质地最易生成颗粒性扬尘微粒。二是运动差造成扬尘。例如，道路中间花圃和街道马路牙子的泥土下雨或泼水后若有泥浆流到路上，一小时干涸后，被车轮一旋就会造成大量扬尘，即使这些颗粒性物质落回地面，也会因汽车不断驶过，被再次甩到城市上空。三是扬尘基源和运动差过程集聚在一定空间范围内，颗粒最终与水分子结核集聚成霾。目前来看，在我国黄土平高原地区350多座城市中，雾霾构造三要素存量相当丰裕。

其实雾与霾从某种角度来说是有很大差别的。 比如：出现雾时空气潮湿;出现霾时空气则相对干燥，空气相对湿度通常在60%以下。其形成原因是由于大量极细微的尘粒、烟粒、盐粒等均匀地浮游在空中，使有效水平能见度小于10KM的空气混蚀的现象。符号为“∞”。霾的日变化一般不明显。当气团没有大的变化，空气团较稳定时，持续出现时间较长，有时可持续10天以上。由于雾霾、轻雾、沙尘暴、扬沙、浮尘、烟雾等天气现象，都是因浮游在空中大量极微细的尘粒或烟粒等影响致使有效水平能见度小于10KM。有时使气象专业人员都难于区分。必须结合天气背景、天空状况、空气湿度、颜色气味及卫星监测等因素来综合分析判断，才能得出正确结论，而且雾和霾的天气现象有时可以相互转换的。

霾在吸入人的呼吸道后对人体有害，长期吸入严重者会导致死亡。
