They lived in very small houses. No good food to eat, no good water to drink.They had only twenty minutes to stay out side per day but they still said nothing.

I think they are the heros in that century. I will follow their spirit.

January 28 2010 it was the third day of our winter holiday. today， there are many business in my mother‘s company. so my mother told me to help my uncle who is the manager of my mother’s company. i sat in my mother‘s office and help her answer the telephone. while i was free， i was writing my homework. although i also have a lot of time to do my homework， i still do it. because in my mother’s office， i had nothing to do. if i did nothing， i was wasting my time and my life. i can‘t do the foolish thing. we should take good use of our time.

January 13 20xx

20xx年1月13日

It was the first day of our winter holiday. All of us were very happy. Why? Because we have one months to do things we love to do. We are free. Although we have some homework. But we can finish them in several days. And the rest time we can make good use of. My god! We have been very tired after hard studying. In winter holidays, I want to have full sleep and eat good food in order to replenish myself. Last but not the least, I will have a good rest.

这是我们寒假的第一天。我们大家都非常高兴。为什么?因为我们有一个月的事,我们喜欢做的。我们是免费的。虽然我们有一些功课。但我们可以在数天内完成这些。而其余的时间我们可以善用。我的上帝!我们已经非常疲倦拼命学习。在冬季假期,我希望能有充分的睡眠和良好的食物吃,以补充自己。最后但并非最不重要,我会好好休息。

New Years eve, our family had just finished eating dinner, two little sister began rang: "go wow, firecrackers!" Say that finish, 1 of "miso", jumped out of the chair. Them in one hand and a fireworks, in one hand and a lit incense stick and ran out of the house, I hurried to go out.

The street, "clicks" embrace life, air flashing dazzling spark. Families of lights. Golden yellow and yellow-green window, in the flickering spark, as if into running a TV set, there is a wonderful program!

Suddenly, the front light flash, then the fist big round ball, one by one to fly to the sky, red, yellow, green... According to the street brightness.

Sister saw, loudly shout: "elder sister, whats this?"

"This is called flash gun, can be fun." I said, "put out, and then there were a nude!" The words sound just fell, she shouted: "elder sister, we put a fireworks and they compare!" Say that finish put a fireworks upright on the stone bench. Firecrackers is a half feet tall, thumb so thick, is made of kraft paper roll, like candles. We use incense lit the fuse, fuse "bursts" bursts to emit white smoke, then "brush", a pillar of fire to give them enough, through more than ten meters high, the colorful spark to scatter around, like snowflakes are falling again, to the eye.

After a while, neighbors came out to the firecrackers. "Beginning" and "banging" "dong kuang" have been ringing off the hook.

It was firecrackers sound bowed out, every family to meet the New Year!

除夕夜，我们一家刚吃完年夜饭，两个小妹妹就嚷开了：“走哇，去放爆竹喽!”说完，就“噌”的一声，跳下了椅子。她们一手拿着爆竹，一手拿着点燃的卫生香，跑出了家门，我也急忙跟了出去。

街上，“劈劈啪啪”的抱住生接连不断，空中闪烁着耀眼的火花。家家户户灯火通明。金黄色和黄绿色的窗户，在忽明忽暗的火花中，好像变成了一台台电视机，正在播放精彩的节目呢!

忽然，前面亮光一闪，接着拳头大的圆火球，一个接着一个飞向天空，红、黄、绿……照得大街通亮。

妹妹一见，就大声喊：“姐，这是什么?”

“这叫闪光炮，可好玩了。”我说，“放完了，还剩个长筒呢!”话音刚落，她又喊起：“姐，我们放一个花炮和他们的比一比!”说完就把一个花炮直立在石台上。花炮有半尺高，大拇指那么粗，是用牛皮纸卷的，像支蜡烛。我们用香火点燃了导火线，导火线就“哧哧”地冒白烟，紧接着就“刷”的一声，一股火柱冲天而起，窜出十几米高，五颜六色的火花向四周散开，又像雪花一样纷纷下落，好看极了。

不一会儿，邻居们也都出来放爆竹了。“劈劈啪啪”“乒乒乓乓”“咚——哐”的声音一直响个不停。

这真是爆竹声声辞旧岁，家家户户迎新春!

As a student, I expect the winter holiday very much, because I don’t have

to go to school every day. So I can sleep and get up late. But this winter

holiday, I am not very happy. I didn’t do well in the final exam. It makes my

parents disappointed. I feel sorry to them. Besides, I got ill the whole winter

holiday. I caught a cold at first and then had a fever. I had to see a doctor

every day. My parents worried much about me. Because of the illness, I didn’t

have a good time during the New Year. Now, I am a little better. I hope I could

be well soon, because the new term is beginning. I don’t want to go to school

with illness.

My winter vacation

我的寒假

During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. I wake up 11 o’clock Am everyday, after a washing, I have a good lunch with my parents. Next I play computer games till the time to have supper. After have dinner. I go on playing till 2 o’clock Am, and then go to sleep with tired. This is one dull day of my winter vacation.

寒假期间，我的生活没有什么不同的。我每天十一点醒来，洗完碗后，与我的父母吃丰盛的午餐。之后我玩电脑游戏，玩到吃晚饭的时候。晚餐后。我继续玩游戏玩到凌晨两点，然后去睡觉了。这就是寒假我暗淡无光的一天生活。

But I haven’t bored all the time. Sometimes I read the books, sometime I listen to the music or the radio in the bed，because it was very cold outside and snowy all the day. And I also meet some of my good friends during the vacation ,we have a very long talk about the life of each other in the past year and play table tennis tegether .And I watched the spring festival party of the CCTV in the last seconds of the 2011 year! I think this is the thing most people of china doing at that time.

但我不是所有的时间都是那么的无趣。有时候我读书，有时我听音乐或在床上听收音机，因为外面很冷而且一整天都在下雪。寒假的时候我也会跟我一些好朋友见面，我们会聊各自在过去一年里的生活，一起打乒乓球。我会在2011年的最后一秒钟看中央电视台春节联欢晚会!我认为这是中国的大多数人会做的事情。

2015年羊年寒假到了，我们可以尽情的玩、尽情的睡、尽情的吃、尽情的看电视......但学习也不能放松，要给自己定一个学习计划，让我们的寒假生活有规律，有计划。下面就是我的寒假学习计划，一起来看看吧!

1、每天做寒假作业语文、数学各两页。

2、一天做一篇阅读训练。

3、每天练两行字，抄一段课文。

4、坚持每天读课外书，学习课本以外的知识。

5、每两天写一篇日记或作文，提高自己的写作水平。

6、每天做几道奥赛题。

每天完成这些任务，就可以爬山、看电视、玩游戏......我每天一定要完成这些任务，争取让这个假期过的轻松愉快，丰富多彩!
