to the mountain, and let everyone drink chrysanthemum wine, and filled the

mountain with Cornus. After that, Huan Jing stood in front of the mountain with

a knife. After a while, the pestilence came as expected. It wanted to go up the

mountain and eat people. Huan Jing stopped him, so they fought together. The

smell of Cornus and dogwood is not stable for a few rounds. He raised a knife

from the mountain. The plague devil was removed, and the people in Nancheng

finally lived a comfortable life. Since then, in order to commemorate September

9, people have designated September 9 as the Double Ninth Festival. On this day,

people will climb high with their families, fill the mountains with Cornus and

drink chrysanthemum wine to pray for themselves and their families. This is the

origin of the Double Ninth Festival on September 9.

I like this legend best, because I think Huanjings persistence and bravery

are worth learning.

In the past twenty years, China has faced three American presidents, but till coming to Yale today, I never realized that China really just faced one university. Although, through these three presidents, I understand that the quality of Yale graduates is not so even.

在过去的二十年中，中国一直在跟美国的三任总统，但是今天到了耶鲁，我从来没有意识到，中国真的面临一个大学。虽然，透过这三位总统，我的理解是，耶鲁大学的毕业生的质量甚至是不。

Let me begin my main subject and let me give it a title, called “My Story and the Chinese Dream Behind It”. I want to talk about five particular years. The first is 1968. That year I was born. But it was also a chaotic year for the world. In France, there was this huge street disturbance, and in America, too. Then President Kennedy was assassinated. However, I really did not cause all of these! But that year what we remember more was the assassination of Mr. Martin Luther King. Although he fell that year, his words “I have a dream” stood up, not only stood up in America, but across the whole world.

But sadly, not only for me, but for almost all Chinese, we did not know such a dream. It was hard to describe each Chinese as having his or her own dream. I really miss you for so many days off. Are you happy in the new year? I

旧的一年过去了，新的一年来到了，这是一个全新的开始。面对新的一年，人们都有很多的憧憬，父母希望多陪孩子，学生希望成绩更好，而我，就仅仅希望人们能更多地关注环境保护，因为环境是人类赖以生存和发展的物质条件的综合体。我希望人们能更多地关注环境保护。生态环境是围绕生物有机体的生态条件的总体。由许多生态因子综合而成。生态因子包括生物性因子(如植物、微生物、动物等)和非生物性因子(如水、大气、土壤等)，在综合条件下表现出各自作用。生态环境的破坏往往与环境污染密切相关。现如今，在我们已知的生物种类中，已经灭绝的生物和正濒临灭绝的生物越来越多，那是不是有一些我们未知的生物，还未被发现就已经灭绝了呢，这个问题值得人们深思。

我希望人们能更多地关注环境保护。海洋环境是地球上广大连续的海和洋的总水域。包括海水、溶解和悬浮于海水中的物质、海底沉积物和海洋生物。是生命的摇篮和人类的资源宝库。随着人类开发海洋资源的规模日益扩大，已受到人类活动的影响和污染。在现在，仅我国每年就有80%多的工业废水和一些生活废水排入海洋，有时还会发生海洋石油泄漏，这些都造成了海洋污染。海洋污染使海洋生态系统遭到破坏。有害物质进入海洋环境而造成的污染，会损害生物资源，危害人类健康，妨碍捕鱼和人类在海上的其他活动，损坏海水质量和环境质量等。所以，我们要加强海洋环境保护。

我希望人们能更多地关注环境保护。原生环境是自然环境中未受人类活动干扰的地域。如人迹罕到的高山荒漠、热带森林、冻原地区及大洋中心区等。在原生环境中按自然界原有的过程进行物质转化、物种演化、能量和信息的传递。随着人类活动范围的不断扩大，原生环境日趋缩小，如果人类活动范围持续扩大，那么最后原生环境可能会没有。告诫所有的人，不要过多的去破坏原生环境，因为在原生环境中，某一物种的减少，可以影响其他物种的生存。

我希望人们能更多地关注环境保护。这不仅是我的新年心愿，也是许许多多的人的心愿。愿人们能更多地关注环境保护!

Spring Festival is the most important festival in China.It‘s to celebrate the lunar calendar ’s new year.In the evening before the Spring Festival ，families get together and have a big meal.In many places people like to set off firecrackers.

Dumplings are the most traditional food.Children like the festival very much ，because they can have delicious food and wear.new clothes.They can also get some money from their parents。

This money is given to children for good luck. People put New Year scrolls on the wall for good fortune.

The Spring Festival lasts about 15 days long.People visit relatives and friends with the words “Have all your wishes ”。 People enjoy the Spring Festival ，during this time they can have a good rest.
