Currently, there is a widespread concern about the previously neglected connection between growing human population and decreasing wild species. As the two graphs obviously portrayed, American population in 1980 was 250 times than that in 1800, a trend accompanied by the extinction of nearly 70 kinds of wildlife in the past 300 years. 当发生了地震、洪水、海啸等自然灾害时，地球妈妈在哭泣，洪水、海啸是“母亲”的眼泪，地震是“母亲”的累累伤痕。鼠疫、禽流感、疯牛病等是大自然对人类的报复。在发生灾难时，伤心不可心，可愤怒的火焰却更加熊烈。人类是否想过，伤害母亲等于间接的扼杀自己。一切惨痛的后果都是人类亲手创造。人类应当好好的反思、惭悔，用实质的行动弥补错误。

读到一例例具体的伤亡数字，令我本就熊熊的怒火“更上一层楼”，同时使我拯救地球、保护环境的欲望更为强烈。

首先，我们应从身边做起，少用一次性的饭盒、筷子、塑料袋，应自备饭盒、筷子及布袋。如迫不得已，用完后务必丢进垃圾桶，以免堆积如山，释放对人体有害的气体。

多种植绿色植物，吸收二氧化碳，转化氧气再排放而出。同时括大全球绿化面积，有效防止水土流失，阻拦风沙。

深入了解垃圾分类，学习各种垃圾应投放至哪一种类别。并时时刻刻做到垃圾分类，利用垃圾，创造再生资源，尽量减缓能源枯竭。

然后，我们要向周边的邻居、朋友宣传环保的知识，使他们也加入保护环境的行列，多一份力，便多一份收获。

一传十，十传百，百传千……

最后，使全国上十下齐行动，为“母亲”治病。
