环境保护

Nowadays, peoples life has changed a lot with the development of modern technology and economy, which has put lots of negative effects on the environment.

Why this? Because, firstly, some factories are pouring wastes into rivers, lakes, seas and so forth; secondly, because of human activities, a great number of plants and animals are losing their lives; thirdly, using modern machines and chemicals is bad for the environment. Besides these, there are a lot of human activities which have done or are doing harm to our surroundings.

For this, I think, first, our government should make drastic measures to regulate human activities; second, we human beings should take pains-taking work to stop ourselves destroying the environment and try our best to protect our living space more.

If we continue to do this, human life on earth will not survive. We realize that if too many fish are taken from the sea, there will soon be none left. Yet,with modern fishing methods, more and more fish are caught.We know that if too many trees are cut down, forests will disappear. Yet, we continue to use powerful machines to cut down more and more trees. We see that if rivers are polluted with waste products, we will die. Yet, waste products arestill put into rivers. We know that if the population continues to rise at the present rate, in a few years, there wont be enough food.What can we do to solve these problems? If we eat more vegetables and less meat, there will be more food available. Land for crops feeds five times more people than land where animals are kept. Our natural resources will last longer if we learn to recycie them. The world population will not rise so quickly if people use modern methods of birth control. Finally, if we educate people to think about the problems we shall have a better and cleaner planet in the future.

Now, patches of forest became less factories. Endless grassland into desert, limpid streams into a muddy gutter, beautiful grassland into a barren desert. Why? Why is this? This is because people caused by deforestation.

The earth is home to the survival of people, and the human is continues to destroy it, people cut trees have purify air, reduce noise and adjust the temperature, and other functions; Being pulled out of the grass and people to remove the flowers to beautify the environment. 青山绿水今何在?

幕幕往事,还是易如反掌地时时浮现。

记忆中的家乡的水，很美!平淌静如画，与青山相互照应，所以青如山之绿;有的会成溪，随处可见。那便是家乡的水。

当你伸出手轻抚它时，它便从手指间滑过，柔柔的，清凉可人。在我第一次到那的时候，天天到那儿去用那水洗脸。那时正是炎夏，我便和爸爸在里面游泳。“扑咚!”一声跳进水里，顿时洗去了所有的疲惫，清凉遍布全身，犹如在人间天堂一般。

又一次，在五年之后，我和爸爸、奶奶再次来到了这里。一到河边，就被眼前的一切惊呆了。我竟难以相信这就是我深深难忘的家乡水。

还有湖南著名的湘江也是

听父母说，以前，湘江水特别明澈，一到炎夏就有很多人来游泳。人们亲切的称它为“绿色之河”。

然而现在，古老的湘江已经被吞噬了，只见河面上浮满了塑料、药瓶、白色污染……发出令人恶心的臭味。享有“绿色之河”之称的湘江已成为了一条“死河”。

忽然，我明白了，今日的人们一味的追求发展，而忽视了保护环境，保护水资源的重要性。

整条河上回响起河水的叹息声：“人们摧残了我的躯体!”

We live in nature, nature is very important to us. If we dont take care of it, the natural disaster will befall mankind.

But, because of a shortage of people environmental protection consciousness, there are some people throwing garbage everywhere, some pet, or at the side of the road. There are some busy people to go outside to eat fast food, leftovers lost carelessly. There are some people throwing paper everywhere, those paper lying on the road, just like a damage to the environment of the devil. Some people are disorderly cut down trees, land became bare. Without trees, the air quality is affected, many living things disappear from lack of oxygen. There are some people in the river after eating, was thrown into the river, originally the clear river water becomes dirty and smelly ditch, passing all over your nose.

For the sake of our environment, I want to be with those people say: "please dont damage the environment, or natural disaster will befall mankind. If again so continue to destroy, the whole earth will disappear. The end of the world will always be coming.

为了我们的环境，我要跟那些人说：“请你们不要再破坏环境了，否则自然灾害就会降临到人类。如果再这样继续破坏的话，整个地球就会消失。世界末日始终会到来。
