小乌龟是我从市场上购买的，那个卖乌龟的阿姨告诉我，这种小乌龟永远长不大。听了阿姨的话，我对这只可爱的小乌龟更加的好奇了。

小乌龟有一个硬邦邦的壳儿，这可是它的“保护伞”哟！它的壳儿是翠绿色的，上面排满了六边形的团，下面也是由六边形的团组成的，只不过是乳白色的；小乌龟的头一旦有东西碰到了，酒会快速和两队足一起收回壳儿里，显得它特别小心谨慎。这只小乌龟很特被，头上有个菱形的小红点，特像个“小剑客”。小乌龟的眼睛水灵灵的、大大的，下面长着一张“樱桃小嘴”；再说说小乌龟的四肢。它虽然爬得很慢，但动作却很迅速，四肢很灵活；小乌龟有一根小瞧的尾巴，细得像根毛线。这根小尾巴平时伸出来时一摆一摆的可爱极了！

第一天把小乌龟买回来是它在小鱼缸里一动也不动的，我还以为它死了呢！过了一段时间，在我和外婆的精心照料下，小乌龟终于肯把头伸出来了，但有脚步声，它又把头和四肢都收回了它那硬邦邦的“保护伞”里。又过了一段时间；小乌龟终于和我像好朋友一样，非常开心。

小乌龟喜欢住在有水的地方（水不能太深）、喜欢吃颗粒较小的龟食、喜欢在平地上玩耍……

动物是人类的朋友，让我们亲近动物、关爱动物、保护动物，让我们从身边做起、从小事做起，让动物和人类成为真正的好朋友！

Animals are our friends. Although some of them are very dangerous. But I think we should help them. Animals are important for every people. No one can live without animals. However, some people object to the idea of raising animals as pets. To them, animals have their own right to live a natural life like human beings. On the other hand, the way people raise animals as pets have a negative influence on the surroundings ,for example, dogs’ chasing people on the street and so on. What’s more, some animals will transmit some diseases.

在星期一下午，我和焦益程去包干区捡垃圾，来到教室窗口草地上。只见草地上都是垃圾又脏又臭，还有人不时从楼上窗口往下倒水，溅得到处满是水。我们拿起钳子，慢慢弯下身，夹起一个个垃圾，小心翼翼的放入垃圾桶。正当我俩干得热火朝天时发现了一条死去的鸟，我猜测它也许是被冻死的。“哈哈死鸟可真好玩!”大胆的焦益程夹起死鸟炫耀起来。他夹着死鸟走出草地，还把死鸟摇来摇去，把周围的同学吓得四处逃散。我拉住焦益程，大声说：“焦益程快点停下来!”“我还想玩”，焦益程回答道。我心想：小鸟都死了还折磨它，它可真可怜啊!焦益程夹着它，把它用力的往池塘中丢去。结果死鸟漂浮在水面上，焦益程一看没兴趣，又把它夹回来地面，我一看毛骨悚然，心中愤愤不平，恨不得让他也掉入水中去感受下，洗个脏水澡一下。让人悲痛欲绝的是，焦益程将死鸟扔进草丛中，再用力地扔到远处。焦益程还把死鸟踩住，用力将死鸟的头扭断，结果他左扭右扭，无论怎样都不能扭断。我想：小鸟以前在天空中飞翔是那么快乐，可是现在......最后，我把死鸟埋葬了。

在回教室时，我心想;真希望神能给他第二次生命，使它复活重新拥抱蓝天那该多好!

就拿印度洋毛里求斯群岛上生活的渡渡鸟来说，由于它身上的肉鲜美无比，所以遭到当时人类的大量捕食，在十七世纪就已告灭绝。但是如果当时人们有动物保护意识的话，就不会造成渡渡鸟的灭绝。再说生活在我国青藏高原的藏羚羊吧，因为它其外层皮毛下面的被称作沙图什的绒毛异常精细，可以用来织成华丽的披肩，而惨遭偷猎者大肆捕杀。因为织出一条女式沙图什披肩便需要300至400克生绒，这意味着要牺牲3只藏羚羊的生命。所以在上世纪90年代初期，藏羚羊的数目只有65000只到72500只之间，要知道这只有100年前藏羚羊总数的十分之一。所幸的是人们意识到了保护这种濒临灭绝的动物。现在北京已有多名志愿者来到可可西里担当起义务看护藏羚羊的活动。同时国际爱护动物基金会从1999年起每年为我国藏羚羊保护捐赠8万至10万美金用以在可可西里、羌塘和阿尔金山三大自然保护区开展反盗猎行动和针对藏羚羊保护的各种宣传活动。我们人类正慢慢将藏羚羊这种可爱的动物从灭绝的边缘拉回来。
