Spring Festival in my Hometown

The Spring Festival, the most jubilant and important festival in China, is observed by most Chinese people at home and abroad. Our hometown is not an exception.

Similar with other places in china, we prepare for the festival about half a month before. With the lunar New Year approaching, the red lanterns are hung up along the main streets, making the ancient town filled with the festival atmosphere. While people clean up their houses, decorate it with traditional decorations such as Chinese knots and paper cutting. Each family pastes up Spring Festival couplets to convey their best wishes for the coming year.

On the New Year’s Eve, the whole family sits around, having a

sumptuous feast of reunion. It is worth mentioning that the food we have called maiyouzhi is unique. There is a flat piece of wheat sheet covering various vegetable and meat then rolling them up. What a delicious it is! After dinner, the family always watches the Spring Festival Gala Evening, and sets up fireworks to watch in the New Year.

On the first day of the New Year, people pay visits to the relatives and friends to send New Year’s greetings to each other and wish everything smoothly in the new year. The kids can get a lot of lucky money from the elders.

During the whole holiday, there are varied activities in the town such as lion and dragon dance, and all the citizens enjoy them very much.

People celebrate the festival until the Lantern festival. However, the wonderful memory and the joy of the Spring Festival will last long.

It’s really my honor to be part of Zhejiang Gongshang University.

My College Life

How time flies! I have been in Zhejiang Gongshang University for a semester. In retrospect, my college life is busy but colorful. Different from my senior high school’s life, the whole new life I led is much freer. I arranged my time,

becoming the master of myself.

First of all, study is still the core of my life. I major in Japanese which is both interesting and challenging. We are required to be accomplished in listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating. As a result I had to spend most of time in improving my abilities. Besides of the regular courses, I often attended the lecture and went to the library to eich my knowledge, and I do benefit from what I learnt.

As to the after school life, what I consider most meaningful is joining the YVP to serve society. I think it is the responsibility for every university student to make contribution to the community. Little as my effort is, I tried my best to help the people around us. Once the YVP organized us to sell secondhand books and raise the money to help the people indeed.

In addition, I quite enjoy the travels and the bees. Travels let me experience the sunshine, fresh air as well as the special taste of the local customs and practices. While the bees keep the friendship shining, and friends are as if family members. Both of them lit up my life.

All in all, the college life is a journey, and I have long way to go; all the memory is the most precious treasure, and I will value every moment.

为了找到真相，那头猪带领伙伴们冲破了围栏，亲眼了目睹屠宰场的工人是怎样把带走的同伴开膛破肚的。

How time flies! It has been about two years since I came to the University of Education. Every coin has two sides. On the one hand, I am quite satisfied with my university life. On the other hand, life in my university is not as satisfactory as what we had expected.

世间人们所向往的东西很多，放弃的东西也不计其数;什么都可以不好，心情不能不好;什么都可以没有，但自信不可以没有，即然如此，我们何不让这一次生命旅程走得潇潇洒洒，轰轰烈烈呢?

让我们永远双手向上，挑战自己，战胜自己，即便摘不到那最美丽的星辰，我们也无怨无悔，至少我们曾经为它努力奋斗过!

Mrs. Li has left a very good first impression on us. She is a beautiful young lady, enthusiastic and energetic. Now we know that she is a really wonderful teacher. Not only does she explain everything clearly but also she is very patient with us. Besides, her class

is well organized and in class she always encourages us and avoids making us feel embarrassed even when we make mistakes, so every student is very active in the class discussing.

So far, Mrs. Li has been teaching us for only two weeks, but she has already been popular with all of the students in our class! With Mrs. Lis help, we have learnt a lot of new words, phrases and sentence patterns. I am sure that we are going to make great progress in English with Mrs Li teaching us.

在我家的后面，是一块杂草丛生的空地，平时我不会特别注意，有一天我心血来潮跑到草地去看看，映入眼帘的景像大大出乎我的预料，紫的、白的、红的、黄的花，还有剔透的白绒似的蒲公英种子，我一吹，圆球就散开来在空中跳舞，时而旋转，时而垂直下降，风一来它又跳了起来，有时落在我面前，当我伸手去抓时，它又往前跳，俏皮得很呢;有时乖顺得如小猫咪般静静的躺在我掌心，最后我把它抛起，再送上一阵顺风，让它能在远处发芽、生长，完成传宗接代的使命。 Behind my house, there is a cluster of the vacant land. I usually dont pay special attention to it. One day I ran to the grass to see it.The scene is greatly out of my expected, purple, white, red, yellow flowers, and clear white velvet -like dandelion seeds. As soon as I blow, the ball is scattered to dance in the air, and sometimes rotates.Sometimes vertical decline, and the wind jumped again, sometimes it fell in front of me. When I reached out to grab, it jumped forward again, playful; sometimes it was obedient as a kitten.I was holding my heart, and in the end I threw it up, and sent it to the wind, so that it could germinate, grow in the distance, and complete the mission of the passage.

玩着玩着我累了，就在一棵大树旁坐下来，粗壮的树干可以让我依靠，凉爽的风在树下流窜，我在这里静静谛听风的声音，忽然，有一种细微的嗡嗡声闯入我的耳朵，那是一种尖而细的声音，不多久出现了另一种较粗且低沉的声音，两种声音交杂在一起，越来越大声，越来越大声…。我赶紧起身，警戒的环顾四周，原来是蜜蜂，有一只体型较大的黄蜂和一只小蜜蜂在空中对峙，一只是不怀好意的侵略者，一只则是毫无畏惧的守卫者。此时我甚至能闻到浓浓的火药味，只看谁去点燃那条导火线。

战争一触即发，大黄蜂首先发动了攻势，我见到小蜜蜂左跳右闪的，想避开黄蜂，却又要阻挡它前进。它挨了几下攻击后好不容易抓到一个空档，打算用致命的一击─蜂针来终结这场战斗，可惜扑了空，大黄蜂似乎早已看出了它的意图，往上飞躲过了这一击后，再顺势来一个后空翻，把它致命的武器刺入小蜜蜂腹部，无力的蜜蜂无声地坠向地面，我看见它多彩的复眼，似乎也空洞了起来。自古以来有多少朝代的人对于侵略者都怀有无比的痛恨，何况是这只小蜜蜂呢?它用微薄的力量捍卫自己的蜂巢，不惜拼死一战，最后失去了生命，它输了，尸身就这么轻飘飘的坠落，像一片落叶离开树枝，躺在碧绿的草地上。

我佩服它，佩服他临危不乱，佩服它面对强敌而不畏惧，它让我知道即使有许多阻碍横亘在我们面前，还是要勇往直前，在这片屋后草丛我发现了一个小秘密，它教会我什么是勇气。

Hello, my dear friends! What’s my favourite season? Let me tell you.My favouriteseason is spring. Spring is a lovely season, I think. There is a garden behind my house.

In spring, the trees become green and the flowers give off fragrance(芳香). There are many butterflies and bees over the flowers.

The butterflies are dancing and the bees are singing. Sometimes it rains. It usually rains quietly. The rain moistens(滋润) the trees and the flowers.

I think they may say, “We’re very thirsty. The rain is very good.

It can help us.” What a beautiful scene! Don’t you think so? And what about your favourite season,could you tell me?

我的课余生活丰富多彩。我喜欢踢球、滑板、玩飞行棋、五子棋等，而我最喜欢的课余活动是骑自行车。

自行车，我早就学会骑了，大人也早就给我买了一辆。那辆车刚开始对我来说还显得大一些，可随着年龄的增长，它日渐变得小了，也日渐变的陈旧，重要的是它经常“生病”，动不动就掉链子，漏气，真让人无可奈何！

去年暑假，爸爸回家休假，看见我的自行车的“惨相”，为了鼓励我多做运动，便当即表示说要给我买一辆新自行车。我一听，心里简直乐开了花，高兴得要蹦起来！到了自行车店，我一眼就相中了一辆黑色的山地车，车身上有两条红色的彩带，最特别的地方是它是一辆表演用的车，前后轮子上有两对凸出来的银色的钢柱，可供人站立。车店老板说它可以同时站立十几个人。我心里说这辆车真酷啊，简直让我爱不释手。爸爸见我喜欢的样子，便大方地说就买这辆吧！真是我的好老爸，要知道，这辆车很昂贵的，价值不菲。

从那时起，我就有的新的战斗伙伴。每天一有时间，我就骑上它在小区里纵横驰骋，让小区里的朋友们羡慕得不得了。每次骑车比赛，我都遥遥领先，第一个到达终点。

我喜欢骑自行车，喜欢我的课余生活！

Today I go to the zoo with my family. I see many animals. I see the monkey the panda the giraffe and so on. I am very impressed by the peacock it is so beautiful especially when it opens its tail. But the thing is that the peacock won’t open its tail easily it is so arrogant. I always wait for it to open its tail.

今天我和我的家人去动物园。我看到许多动物。我看到了猴子熊猫长颈鹿等等。孔雀给我留下了非常深刻的印象它是如此美丽特别是当它打开它的尾巴的时候。但问题是孔雀不会轻易打开它的尾巴它是如此傲慢。我总是等待着它开屏。

即使暴雨来袭，微微侧视，蓝天依旧如此耀眼。“阳光总在风雨后，请相信有彩虹。”歌曲唱出了我们的心声，告诉我们做任何事情都不会一帆风顺，要学会逆水行舟，用积极乐观的心态面对生活。 Even if the rain is coming, the blue sky is still so dazzling."After the sun is always after the wind and rain, please believe that there is a rainbow." The song sang our hearts, telling us that we would not be smooth to do anything. We must learn to fight against the water and face life with a positive and optimistic attitude.

“仁孝行于家，13年相守，有多少个日子就有多少道坎坷，命运百般挤兑，你总咬紧牙关，寒风带着雪花，围攻最北方的一角。这小小的车库，是冬天里最温暖的宫殿，你病重的老父亲是最幸福的王。”这是给2015年度感动中国人物之一的孝女朱晓珲的颁奖词。

13年的艰苦生活，她没有皱缩眉头，依然乐观笑对生活。照顾父亲的闲暇之余，她会来到图书馆，读读书，领悟书本的诗意。车库的小阁楼，是她的一片天地，拿起笔，写写诗，关于生活，关于她和父亲。

保持乐观的心态，会让我们在人生的道路上，多一份坚强。

瞧，那位老妇人现在生活的得多开心呀。过去，她的一个儿子卖雨伞，另一个儿子卖扇子。雨天妇人说，我那卖扇子的儿子可怎么活呀!晴天她又叹道，小儿子的伞不能卖了。妇人每天总是这样担忧，抑郁寡欢。有一天，邻居劝说，晴天您那卖扇子的儿子发了财，雨天小儿子的雨伞不够卖。每一天孩子都在赚钱，这多好。老妇人听了欣慰的笑了。

小故事很生动形象的将乐观与悲观做了鲜明的对比。乐观者在每次危难中都看到机会，而悲观者只在机会中看到危难。倒在地上的油瓶，乐观的人会说，幸好，还有半瓶呢;悲观的人则认为，完了，油全都洒在地上，却忽视了瓶里所剩有的那部分。

保持乐观的心态，会让我们更加贴近生活，体味生活的丰富多彩。

老师，同学们，相信你们听了也深有感触吧。是啊，生活难免磕磕绊绊，开心是一天，不开心也是一天，何不保持一颗乐观的心态坦然的面对生活?
