My teacher gave me an assignment "experience life" last week. I had been thinking how to finish it because I had never done any thing by myself before.

Mother was out today. It was a good chance to complete the assignment. Seeing the barrel was empty, I decided to fetch water from the well.

I took the empty barrel and went towards the well outside the yard. It snowed yesterday, so the alley was very slippery. A layer of thickice was frozen on the platform of the well. I was frightened by the sight, but I gathered my courage to walk towards it.

The alley was so slippery that I walked with difficultly. Suddenly, I slipped and fell down, water in the barrel totally poured down on the ground. I stepped on the platform carefully. After standing steadily and squatting down slowly, I hooked the barrel at the end of the rope and put the rope down slowly. I made an effort to drag the barrel up after it was filled with water. 西天取经的玄奘的脚步也迈向了西域。他从长安城出发，途中，他在一次喝水时差点被箭射死，后来，他为了逃生，又差点被冻死。玄奘以非凡的毅力坚持了下来。终于，历经千辛万苦才来到了向往的天竺求经。玄奘边出关边观察佛祖留下的遗记。终至东印度的那烂陀寺。贞观十七年(643年)，玄奘启程东归。他为佛教做出了重要的贡献，他的求经过程被弟子写成着名的《大唐西域记》，带回了上百部真经，整个朝廷都为之轰动。

他们的故事充满着传奇般的色彩，他们的精神激励着后人对大自然的探险，去激励着后人不畏艰险地去探险那些未知的世界。

中国第一位探险家刘雨田，面对外国人的挑战，1984年5月，他毅然舍弃一切，开始徒步万里长城。经过一年多的艰苦跋涉完成壮举，成为世界上第一位徒步万里长城的人。之后，他又徒步丝绸之路、黄土高原、攀登昆仑雪山、三次穿越殧之海塔克拉玛干等地。至今他已经完成四十三个考察旅行探险项目。足迹遍及祖国大陆的山山水水，人称他为“二十世纪世界罕见的旅行家、探险家。

余纯顺有”中国的托马斯“、”当代徐霞客“之称。他确实是一位罕见的传奇人物。他孤身徒步走访全中国，八年间克服千难万险，，风餐露宿，跋山涉水，总行程已达8。4万华里。创下人类史上第一个孤身徒步考察”世界第三极“——青藏高原的纪录而震惊海内外。

还有许多人都在不停的探索，人们并没有因为一次次地失败就停住了探索的脚步。

人们在发射火箭的过程中，从失败中吸取一定的经验。我国从长征一号火箭成功发射东方红卫星开始，揭开了我国航天事业的序幕。长征二号的第一次发射失败，在其他三次发射时均发射成功。长征二号的发射成功，使我国成为继美国和前苏联之后的第三个掌握卫星返回技术和航天遥感技术的国家。

拥有良好的精神和坚强的意志品质，再加上坚定的目标是每个探险者必不可少的重要的精神”食粮“。只有这样才能经得起大自然的种种考验，才能鼓起勇气，去探索未知的天地。

魏格纳是丹麦探险队中的一员。他为了找到有关气象和冰川的调查，他率领了一支探险队。迎着北极的暴风雪，第4次登上格陵兰岛进行考察，在零下65度的酷寒下，大多数人失去了勇气，只有他和另外两个追随者继续前进，终于胜利地到达了中部的爱斯密特基地。11月1日，他在庆祝自己50岁的生日后冒险返回西海岸基地。在白茫茫的冰天雪地里，他失去了踪迹。

我发现，不论古今中外的探险家都有一个共同的特点，那就是他们在探险时的追踪的过程中都敢于尝试，都有惊人的勇气去试一试，即便失败了上百次，仍不气馁。他们的事迹令我们震惊，他们的开拓创新精神和坚忍不拔的良好的意志品质值得我们学习。

通过这一次的学习探究，使我明白了人类的进步是靠着那些不畏艰险的探险者，为我们探路，寻找前进的方向，才有今天的生活。他们的探险出的硕果，为广大人民积极所用，即便失败，也为后人的探索成功积累了经验，他们的精神仍值得学习，这些都成为了我们生活中的一些必不可少的财富。只有敢于探险，才能使人类进步。

时间过得真快啊！转眼间看似很长的三年生活，现已经过去很久了，而在这三年中留给我们最美的回忆，便是在校园中，校园的生活给我们带来了很多快乐。

记得在初二中，面临最大的考试就是生物、地理考试，也在那段的日子里我们一起体验了学习的快乐，那时每个人手中都有一本生物、地理指导从书还要一套试卷，那天老师要求我们把试卷全部抄完，因为他知道在我们这种差班要想自己写完是很难的，于是要求我们抄完，接着学校又规定我们每天下午都有在教室看那两本书，和试卷，每个人下午吃完饭后，就去教室背试卷，因为班主任他要求我们背完，然后一个一个去他那过关，所以班上的人都变勤奋了，教室里听到的全是读书声，等老师来抽背时，个个都非常紧张，抽到的那个人便要拿着自己的试卷等待着老师的提问，进去时大家都争先恐后的问那个同学老师都问了他什么问题，没过的只能下次在过，那些日子虽然很短暂但也提高了我们同学之间的感情，也为我们的回忆留下了一个难忘的笔画。

学校第一次举行篮球赛，当班主任知道情报后，立即往教室走去宣布这个消息，老师让班里的同学积极参加比赛，那时很多人都不会打，所以没有什么人报名，于是老师从中抽取了几位同学，在炎热的天气里，老师带领着他们在篮球场打篮球，每当我们从那经过看到老师和同学们大汗淋漓，比赛的时间到了，大家都挤在那个狭窄的篮球场边缘呼喊加油，校园安静的声音已经被我们的呼喊声打破了，那时看到篮球赛已是比赛第一，友谊第二的宗旨，似乎都要打起来的样子，进了一个球大家都很开心，看到别人班比我们班分高情绪就很失落，心里一直诅咒着别人班输，看到打球打不过别人班时，一起喊着骂别人的口号，觉得那时候的我们好傻很天真。

我们的校园里有一个酸枣林，那里非常的受大家的欢迎，那里的每一个棵酸枣树都很高大，每每从那里过我们会捡一颗酸酸甜甜的酸枣含在嘴里，我们每天下午都拿着书坐在那亭子上看书，心情不好时也会去散散步，那里成了我们学习和娱乐的场所。

生活是什么？生活就如一面镜子，你笑他也笑，你哭他也哭。只要拥有坚强的意志，生活便会随之而改变。无论在生活中遇到什么困难坎坷，只要用坚强的意志去克服它们，便会越过这道坎，达到胜利的彼岸。因为生活需要坚强。

在我小的时候，我喜欢和爷爷在一起。爷爷在地里种了许多蔬菜，在那绿油油的田地里有一株蜡梅，它看起来就像干木枝似的，没什么意思，但爷爷却很喜欢它。我问爷爷喜欢的原因，爷爷只是笑了笑，没有言语。我便跑去问爸爸，爸爸说，到了冬天你就知道了！我不解的看了看爸爸。

夏天，爷爷要去附近的溪边摸鱼。我听了后，便央求妈妈让我和爷爷一起去。爷爷听了也说：“是啊，就让他去那锻炼锻炼。”

我跟着爷爷来到了小溪边。潺潺的流水，缓缓地流向远方，在阳光的照耀下，如一条白绸缎，像远处伸展着。我见爷爷卷了卷裤角，便下河去摸鱼。爷爷的眼如鱼鹰一般，十分尖锐，没有任何一条鱼能逃出爷爷的眼睛。不一会儿爷爷便捉了好几条鱼。我也学着爷爷的样子，卷了卷裤角，下河去摸鱼。我看见鱼便猛的一扑，没抓到鱼反而被一块石头绊倒了，磨破了腿，我便大声地在那哭。爷爷见了，严厉地说：“哭什么哭，男孩子怎么那么不坚强，以后还怎么过日子？”爷爷这番话，让我再也不敢哭了，生怕再惹怒爷爷。

回到家，妈妈见我全身湿透了，连腿也磨破了。便拿来跌打药与干净的衣服。帮我抹上药，换好衣服。

一天下午，外面下起了滂沱大雨，但爷爷要骑车去菜市场卖菜。他不顾奶奶的阻拦，冒着雨去了。当爷爷回来的时候，他全身都湿透了，却没有生病。因为我知道爷爷很坚强，爷爷一向做事坚持不懈，从不轻言放弃。

冬天到了，天地间一片雪白，我随着爷爷来到了田地，只见白茫茫的大地上点缀着一些红，这便是蜡梅。它坚强的屹立于天地之间，多么地骄傲啊！它不畏严寒，骄傲地绽放出自己的美丽！

人在生活中难免遇到沟沟坎坎，当遇到严冬来袭时，就要像蜡梅一样吐露出自己独特的芳香，笑傲风雪，笑傲苦难，坚强屹立于天地之间。坚强的意志能使生活更加多姿多彩，能使人生更加辉煌。生活需要坚强！

My grandparents believed you were either honest or you werent. There was

no in between. They had a simple motto hanging on their living-room wall: "Life

is like a field of newly fallen snow; where I choose to walk every step will

show. "They didnt have to talk about it--they demonstratedthe motto by the way

they lived. They understood instinctively that integrity means having a personal

standard of morality and ethics that does not sell out to expediency and that is

not relative to the situation at hand. Integrity is an inner standard for

judging your behavior.Unfortunately, integrity is in short supply today--and

getting scarcer. But it is the real bottom line in every area of society.And it

is something we must demand of ourselves.

A good test for this value is to look at what I call the Integrity Trial,

which consists of three key principles: Stand firmly for your convictions in the

face of personal pressure.

When you know youre right, you cant back down. Always give others credit

that is rightfully theirs. Dont be afraid of those who might have a better idea

or who might even be smarter than you are. Be honest and open about who you

really are. People who lack genuine core values rely on external factors--their

looks or status---in order to feel good about themselves. Inevitably they will

do everything they can to preserve this facade,but they will do very little to

develop their inner value and personal growth.

So be yourself. Dont engage in a personal cover-up of areas that are

unpleasing in your life. When its tough, do it tough. In other words, face

reality and be adult in your responses to lifes challenges.

Self-respect and a clear conscience are powerful components of integrity

and are the basis for enriching your relationships with others.

Integrity means you do what you do because its right and not just

fashionable or politically correct. A life of principle, of not succumbing to

the seductive sirens of an easy morality,will always win the day. My

grandparents taught me that.

Every year in October, our school will have the tradition to hold a sports

meeting. It is the biggest event of the year, so all the students will practise

very hard to win the biggest honor. Relay race is the most important match,

because it involves so many students to take part in, showing the unity of a

team. Last year, our class won the second place. We lagged behind the champion

just a little distance, so we hoped to defeated them this time and won the first

prize. We have practised very hard, and every student in the team wanted to make

the breakthrough. When the match finally began, we ran very fast and kept our

space. Even though other team tried to disturbed us, we focused our attention.

The moment when our team first crossed the line, we cheer and cried. We made

it.
