Spring Festival in my Hometown

The Spring Festival, the most jubilant and important festival in China, is observed by most Chinese people at home and abroad. Our hometown is not an exception.

Similar with other places in china, we prepare for the festival about half a month before. With the lunar New Year approaching, the red lanterns are hung up along the main streets, making the ancient town filled with the festival atmosphere. While people clean up their houses, decorate it with traditional decorations such as Chinese knots and paper cutting. Each family pastes up Spring Festival couplets to convey their best wishes for the coming year.

On the New Year’s Eve, the whole family sits around, having a

sumptuous feast of reunion. It is worth mentioning that the food we have called maiyouzhi is unique. There is a flat piece of wheat sheet covering various vegetable and meat then rolling them up. What a delicious it is! After dinner, the family always watches the Spring Festival Gala Evening, and sets up fireworks to watch in the New Year.

On the first day of the New Year, people pay visits to the relatives and friends to send New Year’s greetings to each other and wish everything smoothly in the new year. The kids can get a lot of lucky money from the elders.

During the whole holiday, there are varied activities in the town such as lion and dragon dance, and all the citizens enjoy them very much.

People celebrate the festival until the Lantern festival. However, the wonderful memory and the joy of the Spring Festival will last long.

My College Life

How time flies! I have been in Zhejiang Gongshang University for a semester. In retrospect, my college life is busy but colorful. Different from my senior high school’s life, the whole new life I led is much freer. I arranged my time,

becoming the master of myself.

First of all, study is still the core of my life. I major in Japanese which is both interesting and challenging. We are required to be accomplished in listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating. As a result I had to spend most of time in improving my abilities. Besides of the regular courses, I often attended the lecture and went to the library to eich my knowledge, and I do benefit from what I learnt.

As to the after school life, what I consider most meaningful is joining the YVP to serve society. I think it is the responsibility for every university student to make contribution to the community. Little as my effort is, I tried my best to help the people around us. Once the YVP organized us to sell secondhand books and raise the money to help the people indeed.

In addition, I quite enjoy the travels and the bees. Travels let me experience the sunshine, fresh air as well as the special taste of the local customs and practices. While the bees keep the friendship shining, and friends are as if family members. Both of them lit up my life.

All in all, the college life is a journey, and I have long way to go; all the memory is the most precious treasure, and I will value every moment.

The sacrifices of god are three: "red peach hair next", "the mouse shell next", "vegetable next". "Red peach hair next" is to use green beans to shell, then grinding beans into powder, and then steamed, do next filling. "Carrots next turnip cake."

On the afternoon of New Years day ancestor worship, to New Years eve. Chinese New Year, the home grown a big income, to send "lucky money" to their elders, elders to underage young players to "lucky money", so, every family, cherish the virtues of young embodies the respect for the elderly.

In the first month, chaoshan region have blessing of gods activity, is the temple of god carried to the street parade, people set off firecrackers, burning incense, the blessing. This is chaozhou custom of Spring Festival.

春节是我国的传统节日，人们把春节叫做过年。在我的家乡潮州，过年就有一些特别的风俗。

在除夕之前，人们都要忙着四件事：谢神、备料做粿、扫舍和买年货。潮俗，每年冬至过后，家里要谢神。备料做“红桃发粿”。是将大米和糯米分别浸于水中几小时，使米质松疏，捞干后于石臼中打成细粉，晒干。这就是做“红桃法粿”的主料。扫舍要选择吉日，是一件不寻常的事。是日，各家主妇最忙，把屋子的里里外外打扫干净，对一些长年少用之物都要清洗。

十二月二十四日，就是传说中的“神上天”之期。是日，家家户户都要拜“糖桃”。一方红纸，上面用软糖摆成一粒桃子的形态，成为“糖桃”。此物沾住“杜王爷”的嘴，让其“上天说好话，落地保平安”。过年还要拜“老爷”，也就是祭神。祭神的祭品有三样：“红桃发粿”、“鼠壳粿”、“菜头粿”。“红桃发粿”就是用绿豆去壳，然后把豆磨成粉，接着蒸熟，做粿馅料。“菜头粿”就是萝卜糕。

过年祭祖，要到除夕日下午。过年，家里已成年有收入的小辈，要给长辈送“压岁钱”，长辈也要对未成年的小辈给“压岁钱”，户户如此，体现了尊老惜幼的美德。

在正月里，潮汕地区都游神祈福的活动，就是把庙里面的神座抬到大街上游行，人们要放鞭炮、烧香、接福。这就是潮州春节的习俗。

The Lunar Happy New Year

The Lunar Happy New Year is a great occasion to the Chinese people. It lasts about the first four days of the year， during which people do not work except for the workers on duty. Students do not go to school， and shops are closed.

Several days before the Happy New Year， people begin to prepare. Farmers kill pigs， sheep， cocks and hens. City dwellers buy meat fish and vegetables. Houses are cleaned; coupletsare posted on the doors. Colourful lanterns are hung at the gate.

On the eve of the Happy New Year， each family has its members gatherd together and eats a family reunion dinner. After the meal they watch TV until the clock strickes twelve. Then every family sets off long strings of small firecrackers and other fire works to welcome the Happy New Year. On the first day of the Happy New Year， almost everyone is dressed in his or her best. When people meet on the way， they say to each other "Happy Happy New Year". Friends and relatives pay Happy New Year calls and gives presents to each other. Children indulge themselves in games.

Is cold in the winter of this year, every day I watch the weather forecast, know this several days the highest temperature to ten degrees or so. This kind of weather is easy to catch a cold, so wear more clothes. My Spring Festival to the weather is a little different, is "warm".

My grandma and grandpa, the pain, the most concerned about me, they not only care about me, but will also forgive me, give me a reason. Unlike impulse dad, I do wrong, he is not playing, is called. But also cant completely said father very impulse, as long as Im not being naughty, my dad is very kind to me. In recent years, my performance is progress than before, was beaten, always to be changed, now they is very kind to me. I feel warm in my heart, let me forget the bone-chilling cold. Therefore, although this years weather is so cold, but my heart is always flooded with a stream of warm current.

今年的冬天格外的冷，我天天看天气预报，知道这几天最高温度才十度左右。这种天气很容易感冒，所以要多穿衣服。可我的春节跟天气比起来有点儿不一样，是“暖和”的。

我的爷爷、奶奶最疼、最关心我了，他们不仅关心我，而且还会原谅我，给我讲道理。不像冲动的爸爸，我做错事，他不是打，就是骂。可是也不能完全说爸爸很冲动，只要我不调皮捣蛋，爸爸还是很和蔼地对待我。近年来，我的表现比以前进步了，以前总被挨打，今非昔比，如今他们对我可好了。我心里感到暖烘烘的，让我忘记刺骨的严寒。因此，尽管今年的天气是那样的寒冷，但是我的心里却总是涌着一股暖流。

希望大家能和我一样，度过一个愉快的春节。

Childrens Day is our favorite festival.Each year we will hold a party.The most interesting party last year.

Last year,students show a lot of party programs.Some students performing pieces and comic dialogue,very interesting.The students also sing very beautifully.I also performed on the program.I performed a peacock.Students gave me a warm round of applause,and I was very happy.

I miss last years Childrens Day party.

2016年12月31日下午，我有幸观看了这场晚会，感触颇深，通过视频与六班同学共同观看了“同心携手筑吉祥第十三中学2017年元旦教师联欢会”老师们的文艺表演。伴随着主持人热情洋溢的开场白和高校长的讲话拉开了迎新年晚会的序幕。当演到第几个节目的时候记不清了，看到舞台上有六班老师们上台表演我和同学们一样一下就激动起来， 班主任胡老师和数学胡老师他们表演的三句半，很精彩，这个节目蛮有难度的，表演不熟练会出现冷场接不上，从这个节目中可以看出老师们是付出了努力，三句半这个节目衔接非常自然，恰到好处的数学胡老师的敲锣，节目表演的非常成功，成功的背后肯定是付出了很多的汗水。我觉得他们真的是很用心，准备的也比较充分。孩子们这座位上配合的很好，秩序维护的比较好，这都是我们需要学习的，晚会都是集体节目。

个人建议：如果能多让孩子们参加元旦晚会，肯定表演节目不会那么单一，会丰富多彩。只是本人观后感而已，我想如果让有特长的孩子参加，对他们的学习会有帮助，最起码是起到积极作用的。同学之间和老师之间的协作能力，同时促进班级同学之间的学习生活交流，增进同学、老师之间情谊，展现师生风采。丰富同学们的校园文化生活，发掘优秀文艺人才，使之得到更好的培养和锻炼。晚会舞蹈音乐动感比较多，能够较好的带动晚会的气氛。当看到同学们看到自己班老师表演三句半这个节目时的高兴神情，氛围感染了我心情和同学们是一样的激动。这些节目都很精彩，舞蹈我很关注，因为我比较喜欢舞蹈平时没事时也会练练，看到十三中的个别老师跳的这个舞蹈绝非一般的练舞者，可以去参加全国舞蹈比赛的水平了。真是：台上一分钟，台下十年功啊!

最后感谢老师能选我参加这次活动，希望在以后的三年生活中能经常参加类似这样的活动，配合老师的安排，使初一六班这个和谐的大家庭更加健康阳光向上。

Chinese Spring Festival celebrating the end of winter and the warmth of spring.It began in the last day of the lunar year,end in the 15th day of lunar New Year,also is the Lantern Festival.During the Spring Festival,people use red lantern and Spring Festival couplets decorate a house,put on all kinds of colored clothes,often visit friends and relatives or together eat dumplings,fish,meat and other delicious food.The children are looking forward to receiving red envelope money,and together they play each other the fireworks,with happy.Street with dragon and lion dance and some other carnival activities,CCTV will held the grand Spring Festival gala.

中国的春节庆祝冬天的结束和温暖春天的来临.它开始于农历年的最后一天,结束于农历正月十五,也就是元宵节.在春节期间,人们用红灯笼和春联装饰房子,穿上各式各样的彩色衣服,经常拜访亲戚朋友或聚在一起吃饺子、鱼、肉和其他美味的食物.孩子们盼望着收到红包的压岁钱,他们一起放烟花,相互玩的跟开心.大街上有舞龙、舞狮和其他一些狂欢活动,中央电视台会举行盛大的春节联欢晚会.
