My hometown is Xiamen. I was born there twelve years ago. Now I live in Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian Province. Xiamen is a beautiful city that many people visit there. 一、写作指导

书信种类很多，它包括笔友信、感谢信、慰问(候)信，祝贺信、鼓励信、介绍信、自荐信、询问信、应聘信、联系信、求职信及求职信的答复信，邀请信及其接受邀请的信，读者请求的解答信及其答复读者的信等。

总的说来，写英语书信时有以下几点需注意：

(1) 地址的书写与中文相反，须从小到大写。

(2) 日期写法与中文不同，它应写在信纸右上方寄信人地址下面，不可写在写信人签名之后。

(3) 正式书信中，收信人的姓名和地址应写在信纸左上方，并低于写信人地址一行。

(4) 称呼通常用Dear…，关系亲密的可写 My dear…，之后要加逗号，而不用冒号。

(5) 结尾和称呼一致，熟人间写Yours ever, 致长者时写Yours respectfully，一般情况写Yours truly，Yours sincerely 等，其中Your sincerely 最为保险，但不管哪一种，结尾客套语中不可遗漏 Yours，最后还有签名。

As you know, Nanjing has many places of interest to see, to discover, and to enjoy. 今年四月到六月，我参加了20xx年“希望之星”英语风采大赛。这可是全国性的比赛哦！必须要闯过海选、市赛和省赛三关，才能去北京参加中央电视台的总决赛。
