I have gradually discovered that you have serious moments. I remember once I was distracted in class and didnt listen. Suddenly met your eyes to stop. Blushing, I listened carefully. Tinsel was also invented in Germany in about 1610. Up until fairly recently real silver was used, which was pulled into wafer thin strips by special machines. This was durable but tarnished quickly and mmany experiments took plaace to try and find an alternative - including a mix of lead and tin, which was too heavy and kept breaking. It was only in the mid 20th century that a viable alternative was found.

Artificial trees were invented in the 1880s in a bid to try and stop some of the damage being caused to real trees due to people lopping the tip off large trees, thus preventing the trees from growing any further. It got so bad in Germany that laws had to be brought in to prevent people having more than one tree.

Prince Albert, husband of Queen Victoria, is credited with being responsible for introducing the custom of the Christmas tree to the British public by decorating the first English Christmas tree at Windsor Castle in 1841 using candles, sweets, fruit and gingerbread.

The popularity of the Christmas tree grew in Britain during the first half of the 20th century, with trees becoming bigger and more elaborately decorated with bells, baubles and tinsel. However, the onset of the Second World War resulted in a ban on cutting down trees for decoration and people resorted to having small, artificial tabletop trees bearing home made decorations. These were often taken down into the air raid shelters when the sirens sounded to provide a bit of Christmas cheer!

The noisy street, busy streets, everywhere was a sea of people, everyones face is permeated with the joy of holidays. Maybe Santa Claus is a corner, quietly watched. When the children sleep sleep, in a sleigh, against the snow, with his good friends fell from the sky, reindeer, crept put beloved children gifts into the socks. Its Christmas in my heart.

If Santa Claus gave me a gift, I hope he gave every man a love in the world, love small animals in the world, cherish every little life in the world. Instead of a cage bound it, it should belong to the colorful nature, we should let it free to life.

绚丽的圣诞树顶上赫然架着一个个闪闪发光的星星，围绕着一圈圈七彩的小铃铛和发光的彩灯，树下摆放着琳琅满目的礼物盒。墙上挂着精致的圣诞长青环，餐桌上的整整齐齐的蜡烛温暖而温馨，火鸡光看着就让人垂涎欲滴，小屋里还回荡着一阵一阵的欢笑声和歌声，在这温暖而舒适的小屋里，充满着喜庆的气氛。喧闹的大街，车水马龙的街道，到处人山人海，每个人的脸上都洋溢着过节的喜悦。说不定圣诞老人正在某一个角落，悄悄地窥探着。等孩子们睡熟睡时，乘着雪橇，迎着飘雪，带着他的好朋友——驯鹿从天而降，蹑手蹑脚的把孩子们心爱的礼物装进袜子里。这就是我心中的圣诞节。

如果圣诞老人送给我礼物，我希望他送给世界上的每个人一份爱心，关爱世界上的小动物们，珍惜世界上的每一条小生命。而不是用笼子去束缚它，它本应属于多姿多彩的大自然，我们应该让它自由自在地生活。
