前几天我在公园里看见别人乱扔垃圾，我就想到我家乡的那条小溪，简直跟以前相差十万八千里。

原来这条小溪是非常清澈的，能看水底下游来游去的小鱼、小虾和绿如丝带的小草。岸边的小草穿上嫩绿的衣服，柳树抽出嫩绿的叶子，空气清新。

记得在我五岁那一年，才发生污染的现象。那一次工厂里的水流进了那条小溪里，小溪被污染了，还有农民在那条小溪旁种了庄稼，农民给那些生病虫的庄稼打农药。下雨了，雨和农药一起流到小溪。还有不懂得保护环境的人把垃圾扔到小溪里，这些行为把小溪污染得黑黑的、臭臭的，小溪里再也没有游来游去的的小鱼和小虾了。

他们觉得这样还不够，于是他们又把一棵棵树给砍倒，还把一堆堆垃圾给烧了，弄得乌烟滚滚，天空跟天黑了似的。我真想对破坏环境的人说：“请保护环境，好吗？再不住手，就会害了我们人类自己的。”

Another solution is to develop modern public transportation systems and restrict the use of private cars. If the price of petrol rises constantly and the public vehicles are efficient and convenient enough, most people will not buy private cars. And the total number of cars in big cities will reduce greatly.

On the whole, the elimination of air pollution needs the collective efforts from the government, the public and the environmentalists.

在我们身边，有这样一些景象：道路上，垃圾四处丢；河流中，废水天天见；空气中，各种“黑龙”肆意排放，臭气熏天…给我们的生活了带来重大的伤害！树木砍光了，只要暴雨来临，水和泥沙形成巨大的泥石流，后果不堪设想；“黑龙”污染蓝天，使人无法正常呼吸；河中废水有人喝了，就引发了水中毒……

难道这些不引人深思吗？在环境污染日益严重的今天，我们又能做些什么呢？在人们随手丢垃圾时，在人们向河里倾倒废水时，有多少人能想到他们毁灭了自己没有？所以，保护环境势在必行！我们必须控制好自己，不乱扔垃圾，就能少一份污染；多种一棵树，多一份绿色；多安装一台废水过滤机，多一份洁净健康；少排放废气，还我们一个湛蓝的天空……让我们的家园干干净净！由此，我郑重、严肃地向还未意识保护环境的人们提建议：

1、以节水为荣，随时关上水龙头，防止滴漏。以节约粮食为荣，尽量地把残留的食物吃完。

2、尽量少用一次性物品，多使用耐用品，自备购物袋或提篮，减少白色污染。

3、不乱丢垃圾和废物品，将垃圾分类投放，变费为宝，使资源循环再生，造福人类。

4、不猎杀珍惜动物和受以保护的动物，关爱与保护野生动植物；植树造林，爱护我们身边的每一朵花、每一片草和树木。

5、不随地吐痰，不随地大小便，不在公共场所吸烟和不制造噪音。
