今天我读了《大力节约水资源》这篇文章后，颇有感受。

这篇文章里反映到了我国水资源紧缺的现象。我国水资源总量为2。8万亿立方米左右，居世界第6位，属于缺水国家。我国600多座城市中，有400多座城市缺水。水资源短缺，按理说应当特别注意节约用水、保洁水源吧？其实不然，在生产、生活中，存在着各地不断加剧，已经威胁到了人类的生存。我们必须珍惜水资源，不要让他白白浪费掉。水是生命的源泉，动植物离不开水，人类更离不开水。一旦没有了水，我们就无法生活下去。但是能够饮用的淡水资源逐渐减少，其中一个原因是世界人口的不断增加，另一个更重要的原因是许多水资源受到了严重的污染。所以，要想有充足的水资源，不仅要保护水资源，还要节约用水。

读了这篇文章后，我深深地认识到自己以前犯了个严重的错误，就是浪费了许多水资源！

以前，我洗澡时总是先把水龙头一开，让水“哗哗”地流一会，再慢吞吞地边洗澡、边玩水，一次洗澡下来就要花掉1-2吨水。爸爸老跟我说：这样洗澡太浪费水了。我始终不以为是：水是从天上掉下来的，有得是，节约干嘛？直到今天，听到宁波市缺水并提高水价每天限水的消息，我才大吃一惊，连宁波这样的沿海城市也缺水，看来我们国家的水资源十分紧缺了。于是，每次洗澡我就把水龙头开小一些，也不让水白白地先流一会了，水量降到了300千克一次。

其实，在家务劳动中，节水也有很多潜力可挖，许多家庭每次洗碗、淘米和洗衣服的水总是直接倒掉的，如果把这些水重复利用，淘米后的水洗碗、洗碗后的水拖地、最后再把水用来冲厕所，这样下来，肯定可以节省不少水。如果人人都这样做，把节水作为已任，我们的城市就可以节省下一、二个水库的水，缺水的状态也可以缓解。

he world is not only hungry,but also thirsty for water. This may seem strange to you, since nearly 75 % of the earths surface is covered with water. But about 97% of this huge amount is sea water, or salt water. Man can only drink and use the other 3% -- the fresh water that comes from rivers, lakes,underground, and other sources. And we cannot even use all of that, because some of it is in the form of icebergs and glaciers. Even worse, some of it has been polluted.

However, as things stand today, this small amount of fresh water, which is constantly being replaced by rainfall, is still enough for us. But our need for water is increasing rapidly-- almost day by day. Only if we take steps to deal with this problem now can we avoid a severe worldwide water shortage later on. A limited water supply would have a bad effect on agriculture and industry. Let me give you just one small exampie of how necessary water is to industry. Did you know that to produce a single ton of steel, it takes about 91, 000 liters of water?

We all have to learn how to stop wasting our precious water. One of the first steps we should take is to develop ways of reusing it. Experiments have already been done in this field, but only on a small scale. For us, the systems are as important as the spacecraft.

日常生活中，水总是不知不觉的被浪费掉，洗一点菜，就要花上两三盘白白净净的水；洗手总是把水龙头开到最大来洗，好像这样洗得又得体；又干净。可是这样又浪费了许多水。。。。。。但是只要我们循环利用水资源，就可以把水从新利用。例如：可以把洗菜的水用来拖地，拖完地后用来冲马桶。这样就可以把水的作用发挥到极致，既不浪费，又节省钱。

有一次，我在洗手间洗手的时候，旁边正好有一个全身珠光宝气，满身香气的小姐在洗手，她洗完手后，用手指轻轻的碰了一下水龙头就大摇大摆的走了，可水龙头还没关紧，一滴滴通亮的水珠滴在了地面，我想，如果一天都没有人用这个水龙头，这可要白白浪费多少水呀！可是，这些水都可以不被白白的浪费掉，不要因为说赶时间，没时间拧；或着怕弄脏自己刚洗好的手等。。。。。。这些根本没有任何没有辩论的价值的借口来掩饰自己的罪过。不过只要一秒的时间来拧紧水龙头罢了，赶时间也不差这一秒吧？

其实节约很简单，只要我们在洗手时不经意的拧紧水龙头；只要我们在水龙头上安装节水装置。。。。。。都可以避免不必要的水浪费掉。

水，人类生命的希望，没有了水，干旱的沙尘暴便向美丽的地球扑面而来；没有了水，身边的一草一木将难以生存；没有了水，地球无疑将会灭绝。所以，我们要从小做起，从我做起，这样才能为保护水资源，保护我们的生命做出一点努力。

水，是地球母亲对地球的馈赠，为了不让地球上最后的一滴水是我们的眼泪，为了不让地球永远埋葬在尘埃之中。所以，我们要好好珍惜，利用这好每一滴来之不易的水。

Water pollution occurs once too much pollutants (mostly in form of different waste) are discharged directly or indirectly into water bodies.Water pollution does not only cause great environmental damage but is also the leading worldwide cause of deaths and diseases responsible for the deaths of more than 14,000 people each day,mostly in developing countries.

Many people are not aware that water pollution is serious problem in almost all parts of the world,and not just in third world countries like some choose to believe.In fact many experts will tell you that reality is completely different than the common belief,and that actually water pollution problem is already out of control.

Water pollution problem is in most cases connected with the careless handling of chemical agents,toxins introduced into our water through industrial dumping,and farm runoff.All these factors make our water unsafe to drink.

今天，我们万里行活动的主题是：保护环境，珍惜水资源。

早上，我飞快地刷牙、洗脸、吃饭。很快便来到了学校。活动开始了，一路上，我们安安静静的走着。汪藜君问我：哎！目的地在哪儿？我说：估计在洪泽湖度假村。一会儿，到了公路上，咦！为啥老师带我们走小路？我心里想：可能是怕公路上车多危险。啊！一个很陡很陡的坡儿出现在眼前。我费了九牛二虎之力才爬过去。

啊！终点到了。我们看到了自来水厂的取水口。然后老师又带我们来到了洪泽湖度假村。我兴奋极了，似乎一蹦三尺高。进去之后我来到一个池子边，看见许多蛤蟆，心想这不会是食品吧？咦！怎么有雷鸣声？原来是同学们在玩火炮呀！大家玩的都很快乐。

通过这次活动，我知道了中国是一个缺水的国家。水是生命之源。我们一定要节约用水。

Once man did not have to think about the protection of his environment。

There were few people on the earth， and natural resources seemed to be

unlimited。

Today things are different。 The world has bee too crowded。 We are using up

our natural resources，and polluting our environment with dangerous chemicals。 If

we continue to do this， human life on earth will not survive。

We realize that if too many fish are taken from the sea， there will soon be

none left。 Yet，with modern fishing methods， more and more fish are caught。We

know that if too many trees are cut down， forests will disappear。 Yet， we

continue to use powerful machines to cut down more and more trees。 We see that

if rivers are polluted with waste products， we will die。 Yet， waste products

are

still put into rivers。

We know that if the population continues to rise at the present rate， in a

few years， there wont be enough food。What can we do to solve these

problems?

If we eat more vegetables and less meat， there will be more food available。

Land for crops feeds five times more people than land where animals are

kept。

Our natural resources will last longer if we learn to recycie them。

The world population will not rise so quickly if people use modern methods

of birth control。

Finally， if we educate people to think about the problems we shall have a

better and cleaner planet in the future。

A breakthrough in the provision of energy from the sun for the European Economic Community (EEC. could be brought forward by up to two decades.if a modest increase could be provided m e EEC s research effort in this field according to the senior EEC scientists engaged in experiments in solar energy at EECs scientific laboratories at Ispranear Milan.

Mr. Gretz calculates that if solar energy only provided three percent of the EEC s needs,thu still produce a saving of about a billion pounds in the present bill for imported energy each year believes that with the possibility of utilizing more advanced technology in this field it might be po?tiblc satisfy a much bigger share of the Communitys future energy needs.

At present the EEC spends about $2.6 millions a year on solar research at Ispraone of the ￡Ec, official joint research centers,and another $ 3 millions a year in indirect research with universities other independent bodies.

您一定会知道我们的母亲河——淮河!它是我们蚌埠赖以生存摇篮。但是，您知道淮河曾经的样子吗?淮河曾是那样的清澈、美丽。可是现在，长江的水，已经变成灰色的了。

可能你会说：“地球上的储水量不是很丰富吗?我们干嘛要那么刻意的去保护水资源呢?”没错地球上的水资源是很丰富。共14.5亿立方千米之多。可是地球上大多数的都是海水。能供我们生产和生活利用的淡水只占其总水量的2.5%。而在淡水中，将近70%冻结在南极和北的冰盖中，其余的大部分是土壤中的水分或是深层地下水，难以开采供人类使用。江河、湖泊、水库及浅层地下水等来源的水较易于开采供人类直接使用，但其数量不足世界淡水的1%，约占地球上全部水的0.26%。

所以我建议您采用以下几点方法来保护水资源：

1、把污水经过处理后再排到长江里去。

2、在工厂里面对员工进行保护水资源的宣传和提议。

3、在工厂周边的小区、居民楼下发放保护水资源的宣传单。

4、在工厂里让员工节约用水。

水是生命的源泉，我们应该保护水资源。让我们的母亲河——淮河变回原来那样的美丽而清澈吧!让我们为自己的明天造福，为我们的子孙创造更美好的明天!
