Last night, I went to see the movie with my friends. It was a cartoon

movie, my friends and I were immerged into the story. It was the first time for

me to go out at night, because my parents never let me do that before. Now they

think I have grown up and can protect myself, so they allow me to go out at

Dear Mary,

Thanks for your last letter. Im so glad that you have been able (at last!

) to arrange a holiday in Australia. As I fear I wont be able to meet you at

the airport when you arrive, nor will I be able to be home until later in the

afternoon, so here are some instructions and suggestions. There is a bus from

the airport to the city. It is much cheaper than a cab. Take the bus to the city

and ask to get off at Town Hall railway station. To get to my place in the

eastern suburbs you have three options. You can either take a cab, a bus or the

train. I suggest you take the train, since the airport bus will leave you right

at the station. Get off at Cliff Station. From there you can either walk to my

place (about ten minutes) or take a taxi. Probably you should take a taxi as you

will have luggage.

When you arrive at my flat, ring the intercom for Flat 2. My friend Lillian

will be at home and she will open the front door for you and let you into my

flat. Presumably you will be tired and want to sleep. But if you feel like some

exercise after that long flight, you could stroll down to Cooper Park, which is

only ten minutes away ? you can see it from the window. Cheers and looking

forward to seeing you.

When the summer holiday came， my cousin and I went to Huamei International

Schooland joined the English and Art Camp.

The camp lasted for three weeks. We had many interesting activities. I

enjoyed them so much， and I was always happy.

I made more new friends there too. I like studying and playing with them

very much and I think they were very friendly.

Our classroom， bedroom and canteen were all very comfortable. They are not

only bright， but also tidy and clean. The food in the canteen was also very

delicious and healthy. I enjoyed the school food a lot. The teachers loved us

very much and they took good care of us.

I like the life in Huamei International School.

A boy lives near my house and I never know his name. Every day, he will

bring some food to the homeless dogs and cats. Sometimes when I am passing

through, I see what he does. He is so kind that I decide to make friends with

him. He is talkative and have a lot of funny things to share. What a lovely

boy.

My mother always says that I am a naughty girl. When I go out with her, I

always make some mistakes. Such as annoying others when they are talking, which

is very impolite. My mother doesnt punish me, instead, she tries to disturb me

when I want to talk to her. It makes me realize how rude I am. My mother is so

tolerant that she is a good mother.

Two years ago, I lived in my hometown. It is a beautiful place for me and I

like the life there. Every day, I wake up early in the morning, then I will walk

in the country road with my grandma. We will meet some people and we say hello

to each other. The trees are so green and the water is so clean. I play a lot of
