首先，我国的水污染严重。据有关部门统计，全国年排放污水总量近600亿吨，其中大部分未经处理直接排入水域。在全国调查评价的700多条重要河流中，有近50%的河段、90%以上的城市沿河水域遭到污染。水污染不仅破坏了生态环境，而且使水资源短缺问题更为严重。就拿我们家乡来说，虽然是水乡，到处可见河流，可是，这河水已经不能饮用了，人们只能用从遥远的地方运来的自来水，这是多么令人痛心的事啊!其次，水资源的浪费也相当的严重，大的不说，就说学校的厕所，水资源的浪费也是相当的严重，许多的水箱以及水龙头一天到晚不停地流，据说一个月的水费要近万元，一年要流掉多少水呀!

为了我们人类能够永久的生存下去大家一起来保护水生态，节约水资源吧!

在水生态保护方面，国家应该加强监管，消除污染源。不要在江河里高密度养殖鱼虾等。人们平时不要把污水和垃圾导入河中。如此，江河湖泊就不会被污染。如果没有水的污染，水资源就不会有很大的短缺了。

节约水资源方面，首先，我建议学校的厕所要改造，改成节水型的。一所学校一年可以节省成千上万吨水。

其次家庭每天用水量最大的就是马桶了，多按一次就是多用掉大约6～9升水，所以，我们一般不要轻易按，先把攒下的用来冲厕所的水用掉。

洗脸水用后可以洗脚，然后冲厕所;家中应预备一个收集废水的大桶，将洗衣等生活废水收集起来，用作冲厕、拖地等，如此，一个三口之家每月可节水1吨左右。

节约用水从我做起，节约用水从现在开始!珍惜生命之源，保护水资源，让泱泱大河流淌在我家门前!
