在有的文章，特别是叙事类的文章中，可以采用倒叙的写作手法，先写出事件的结果，再陈述过程。如“Catching Thieves (捉贼)”的开头可以这样写：I lay in bed in the hospital. I smiled at my friends even though my legs hurt. Do you want to know what happened to me? Let me tell you. It’s a … story.

二、怎样写好文章的结尾

文章的结尾没有固定的模式，同学们可以根据表达主题的需要灵活创造。一般情况下，记叙文和说明文经常采用自然结尾的方法;但夹叙夹议和发表观点类的文章则往往有结束语，以使文章首尾呼应，结构完整。文章结尾的形式也因文章类别和开头的风格而灵活多变。

(一)自然结尾，点明主题

随着文章的结束，文章自然而然地结尾。如“Helping the Policeman(帮助警察)”的结尾可以是：The two children were praised by the police and they felt happy.

再如“The Tortoise and the Hare(龟兔赛跑)” 的结尾可以是：When the hare got to the tree, the tortoise had already been there。

(二)首尾呼应，升华主题

在文章的结尾可以用含义较深的话点明主题，深化主题，起到“画龙点睛”的效果。如“I Love My Hometown(我爱家乡)”的结尾可以是：I love my hometown, and I am proud of it.

(三)反问结尾，引起深思

这种方式的结尾虽然形式是问句，但意义却是肯定的，而且具有一定的强调作用，可引起他人的深思。如 “Learning English can Give us a Lot of Pleasure (学英语能为我们带来许多乐趣)” 的结尾可以是：If we learn English well, we can …Don’t you think learning English is great fun?

(四)表达祝愿，阐述愿望

这种方式的结尾常出现在书信或演讲稿的文体中，表示对他人的祝福或对将来的展望等。如“A Letter to the Farmers(给农民们的一封信)”的结尾可以是：I hope the farmers’ life will be better and better.

另外，书信的结尾常有以下形式的祝福语：Best wishes;I wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year;I wish you have a good time等。

A teacher just likes a shining star to students. Miss Fu, one of my English teacher, is a shining star in my life.

I happened to be in Miss Fus class when I began my high school years. At that time, I dared not speak English aloud in public, for I was shy and my pronunciation and intonation were poor. 记叙文是以叙述人物的经历或事物的发展变化过程为主的一种文体。它是写作训练中最普遍、最基本的一种文体。记叙文以写实为主，但也可以虚拟。如人物传记、历史故事或新闻报导这类非虚拟的故事是记叙文，神话故事、寓言、幽默故事等也属记叙文。记叙文通常分为三类：

1. 以记人为主的记叙文。即以人物为中心组织材料，围绕这个人物来写一、两件事。

2. 以事件为主的记叙文。即以事件为中心组织材料，围绕中心事件，可以写一个人或几个人。

3. 以写景状物为主的记叙文。但应注意的是，在一篇记叙文中，写人、写景、写事往往是交织在一起的，不可截然分开，但各有侧重。

高考英语写作紧扣教学大纲对考生书面表达的要求，以有指导的写作为主，要求考生在短时间内构思成文。由于它是对学生语言综合运用能力的考查，因此在高考中令很多考生感到十分苦恼，也是一个失分率很高的题型。对此，笔者有如下几条建议：

1上海高考英语作文命题特点

1.写作话题

每年高考在即，会出现许多对高考英语写作话题的预测，但这种具体的预测往往是徒劳的。分析近年来真题规律，上海市高考英语写作的话题都是跟高中生的生活密切相关，而非政治性或社会性话题。例如，2006年的话题是选择大学的问题；2007年的话题是礼物；2008年的话题是集体舞比赛；2009年是参加夏令营的课程；2010年则是学生上课情景。这些话题都源于高中生的日常生活。因此，考生不必担心无话可说。在备考过程也不必将过多精力放在一些重大的社会性及政治性话题上。

2.写作体裁

近年来，上海市高考英语写作从体裁上来说主要是偏重于叙议结合的文章，例如在2008年的高考中，考生首先要说明自己是否要参加集体舞比赛，之后要阐述自己的理由。又如，在2009年的高考中，考生首先要根据材料说明自己要参加夏令营的哪个课程，其次要阐述自己的理由以及描述一下希望从课程中学到的内容。刚刚结束的2010年高考题要求学生描述图片以及自己同时期上课的情景，再简单发表感想。纵观近三年的高考，都是夹叙夹议的文章，因此这种体裁的文章是考生接下来备考的重点。

2.如何写好高考作文

高考英语作文的考核目标是看学生能否根据题意连贯、贴切地进行书面表达。我们在写作时应注意：

1.认真审题，确定内容。弄清写作要求是写好作文的前提，也是书面表达的基础。审题时应注意以下几个方面：

1)审题时要确定文章的体裁。

例：(2010年高考)下图是小学新生的课堂一角，对照你当时的上课情况，做出比较并谈谈你的感受。你的作文必须包括：描述图片里学生上课的场景；比较你同时期的上课情况；简单谈谈你的感受。

这篇文章的内容必须覆盖题目给出的三块内容，其中前两项描述图片里学生上课的场景和比较你同时期的上课情况皆是记叙和描绘的部分。只有最后一部分简要发表感想是议论。

2)审题时，把握题目中的关键内容，以免跑题或遗漏。

例：(2009)高考作文：某海外学校举办英语夏令营，开设了如下课程：园艺(gardening)、烹调(cooking)、防身术(self-defense)、护理(nursing)。假如你是王跃华(不可以用自己的真实姓名)，写一封申请信，报名参加其中一门课程的学习。信的内容必须包括：你感兴趣的课程；你期望从这门课程中学到什么；为什么想学这些内容。

这个命题的关键内容有三块：是什么、为什么和学什么。很多同学在审题时把重点放在了为什么要学上，却忽略了想学什么这个关键内容。文章的主体段只交待了为什么要学习某个课程，却只字不提想学习这个课程的哪些方面，遗漏了关键的内容。

2.语言表达上要从三方面把好语言关。

1)准确性：在写作的过程中最好用自己熟悉的句型和词语，力求语言表达正确流畅。

2)句式多样性：在写作过程中，过多使用简单句和短句，会使文章显得罗嗦，幼稚。我们在书面表达时应学会合并短句，并注意句式的多样性。

3)语言恰当性：在高考英语写作时，还应注意用词的恰当性。有些同学喜欢用一些词汇等级较高的词以显示语言的水平，但若不贴切文章的内容，效果往往适得其反。比如，在一篇描写同学间友谊的文章中，用Itisuni－versallyacknowledgedthatfriendshipisveryimportanttous这样的语句来开头，就显得过大，十分不适合文章的主题和作者的身份。

3.组织结构上要做到结构正确，层次分明，运用适当的连接词使上下文连贯一致。

1)注意篇章结构，合理布局开始部分(Openingparagraph)——说出文中的要点、核心问题。正文部分(Bodyparagraphs)——围绕主题开展叙述、讨论。结尾部分(Concludingparagraph)——对全文的总结和概括。

2)运用适当的连接词使段落之间必须是有机地联系，内容完整、连贯。记叙文一般按照时间顺序来写，用一些表示先后顺序的连接词能使记叙的事件脉络更清楚。议论文中用一些连接词可以使文章层次分明，上下连贯。

3.高考作文的写作步骤：

高考写作理想时间是30分钟，最少不能少于20分钟，拿到考题后，写作的一般步骤为：

第一步：审题

第二步：谋篇布局

1)作文动笔之前一般都要先打腹稿。在确立中心上、运用材料上、篇章结构上，充分酝酿。

2)考虑好想写多少句子，该用哪些词汇和句型等。

3)边写边思考内容的连贯性，语言和句子的准确性

第三步：写后检查，写后复查全文，看内容要点有无遗漏，标点、格式、大小写是否规范，是否有语病，卷面是否整洁等。

[ 高考英语作文这样拿高分

说明文是对事物形状、性能、特点、成因等进行的理解式表达表述的文章。其形式多为文字提示或图表。这种文体使用比较广泛。科普文、产品介绍、国情或民俗介绍都属于这类文体。说明文是陈述客观事实，谓语动词通常用一般现在时态。说明文具有以下特点：

1. 科学性。介绍事物或解说事理必须揭示其本质特征。做到概念准确，判断恰当，分类清楚。

2. 客观性。写说明文时，要按照事物的本来面目如实地加以介绍、说明和解释。不能带有个人愿望或主观倾向。

3. 知识性。说明文以说明为主要表达方式，用简洁的语言介绍事物或阐明事理，使人们获得关于某一事物的知识和道理。

4. 解说性。说明文的目的就是在于把事物、现象或道理解释、介绍清楚，让读者明白。

几点写作注意

写说明文要注意以下几点：

1. 抓住中心，分清主次。首先根据要仔细阅读文字提示或观察图表，确定文章的中心内容。再根据内容把文章文分成几个段落，每段都要拟定一个主题句。然后确定中心人称和主体时态。

2. 列全要点，扩编句子。以拟定的主题句为中心，选择恰当的词和句型组织材料，编写句子，形成段落。

3. 布局谋篇，连段成文。按照一定的逻辑顺序，用适当的过渡词把已经写好的段落串连成一篇完整的文章。

具体写作实例

例如：根据下列提示，写一篇介绍你们学校的短文。

1. 位于市中心。

2. 有50多年的历史。

3. 现有60个教学班，近3000名学生。

4. 校园美丽，教学设备先进。

5. 教师经验丰富，工作努力。

6. 已为国家培养了许多高素质人才。

7. 本校为全市最好的学校之一。

要求：词数100左右。

张海迪自幼就严重高位截瘫，几次濒临死亡边缘，身体可算弱的。可是20多年来，她学会4门外语，翻译16万多字的外文著作，获得哲学硕士学位，并自学针炙技术，为群众治病1万多人次，作出巨大的贡献。与张海迪相比，我们这些身体健壮的人又当做些什么呢？

2、【勇把挫折当动力】

19世纪法国著名的科幻小说家儒勒。凡尔纳第一部作品《气球上的五星期》一连投15家出版社，均不被赏识，第16次投稿才被接受。美国作家杰克。伦敦最初投稿，也没有一家出版社愿意发表，以致他不得不去干苦力。后来他的《北方故事》才由一家有眼力的《西洋月刊》看中，一举成名。丹麦著名童话家安徒生处女作问世，有人知道他是一个鞋匠的儿子，即攻击他的作品“别字连篇”、“不懂文法”、“不懂修辞”。但他毫不气馁，笔耕不辍，终于成名。英国诗人拜伦19岁时写作的《闲散的时光》出版后，即有人把他骂得“狗血淋头”，说他“把感情抒发在一片死气沉沉的沼泽上”。然而拜伦并未退却，而是以更为优秀的诗作来回敬那个诽者。

3、【逆境奋争，苦中寻乐】

高士其是我国科普作家。在外国留学时，有一次做实验，一个装有培养脑炎过滤性病毒的玻璃瓶子破裂，病毒侵入他的小脑。从此留下身体致残的祸根。他忍受着病毒的折磨，学完芝加哥大学细菌学的全部博士课程。回国以后，他拖着半瘫的身子，到达延安工作。解放后病情恶化，说话和行动都十分困难，连睁、合眼都需要别人帮助。但他仍以惊人的吃苦精神进行创作，先后写成100多万字的作品。有人问他苦不苦，他笑着说：“不苦！因为我每天都在斗争，斗争是有无穷乐趣的。”

4、【苦难也是一笔财富】

王洛宾，这位被誉为中国“西部民歌之父”的音乐大师，一生历经饮坷，身陷囹圄，妻离子散，长期处于心理压力极大的逆境中。然而他却以“胜似闲庭信步”的态度，投身于大西北的沙漠孤烟之中，创作《在那遥远的地方》等多首西部民歌。

5、【经历挫折，更能发愤】

贝利成名后，有个记者采访他。“你的儿子以后是否也会同你一样，成为一代球王呢？”贝利回答：“不会。因为他与我的生活环境不同。我童年时的生活环境十分差，但我却正是在这种恶劣的环境中磨练我坚强斗志，使我有条件成为球王，而他生活安逸，没有经受困难的磨练，他不可能成为球王。”

6、【面对挫折决不气馁】

一场大火，把实验室烧成一片瓦砾。爱迪生研究有声电影的所有资料和样板被烧成灰烬。他的老伴难过得哭出来：“多少年的心血，叫一场火烧个精光。而今你已年迈力衰，这可怎么办啊！”爱迪生也很伤心，但他决不会由此趴下。发明电灯时，他就先后试验7600多种材料，失败8000多次，仍不气馁，终于获得成功。眼下这场火灾也同样不能使他后退。爱迪生对老伴说：“不要紧，别看我67岁，可是我并不老。从明天早晨起，一切都将重新开始。”

7、【能屈能伸是俊杰】

越国兵败吴国于公元前494年。越王勾践只好“审辞厚礼”向吴求和，等待东山再起。勾践先用美女、金银珠宝贿赂吴王和众臣，还用妻子作人质，自己为吴王当马夫。勾践还为吴王送茶送饭，端屎端尿，终于赢得吴王信任，得以被释放。勾践死里逃生回国后，卧薪尝胆，一面继续进贡吴国，一面聚兵训练。最后他率精兵数万，彻底打败吴国，实现洗辱复国的志愿。

8、【以乐观打败挫折】

古今中外，因为有极强烈而有效的乐观主义，战胜各种艰难险阻取得胜利的大有人在。牛顿发明地心吸力学说的时候，全世界人反对他；哈维（Harvey）发明血液循环学说的时候，全世界人反对他；达尔文宣布进化论的时候，全世界人反对他；贝尔（Bell）第一次造电话的时候，全世界人讥笑他；莱特（Wrigt）初用苦工于制造飞机的时候，全世界人讥笑他。讲到孙中山先生，最初在南洋演讲革命救国的时候，有一次听的人只有三个。这许多人都因抱着乐观主义的精神，而为世人所称道。

极强烈而有效的乐观主义，能使人们战胜全世界的糊涂、盲从、冷酷、恐怖、怨恨和反抗。而且工作愈伟大，所受的反抗也愈厉害，简直成为一种律令，对付这种厉害的反抗，最重要的武器就是乐观主义。一个人，缺少乐观主义精神，难免在各种恶魔面前败下阵来。

9、【感恩节的由来】

1620年，一些饱受宗教迫害的清教徒，乘坐“五月花”号船去北美新大陆寻求宗教自由。他们在海上颠簸折腾两个月后，终于在酷寒的十一月里，在现在的马萨诸塞州的普里茅斯登陆。在第一个冬天，半数以上的移民都死于饥饿和传染病。活下来的人们生活十分艰难，他们在第一个春季开始播种。为生存，整个夏天他们都在祈祷上帝保佑并热切地盼望着丰收的到来，因为他们深知秋天的收获决定他们的生死存亡。

后来，庄稼终于获得丰收。大家非常感激上帝的恩典，决定要选一个日子来永远纪念。这就是美国感恩节的由来

感恩节是美利坚一个不折不扣的最地道的国定假日。在这一天，具有各种信仰和各种背景的美国人，共同为他们一年来所受到的上苍的恩典表示感谢，虔诚地祈求上帝继续赐福。

10、有些人说：“我讨厌我的生活，我必须做一点改变。”这些人必须改变的是他们不知感恩的心。如果我们不懂得感恩我已有的，那么，我们很难获得更多的，既是我们得到我们想要的，那时我们也不会享受真正的乐趣

感恩是一种处世哲学，是生命中的大智慧。人生在世，不可能一帆风顺，种种失败、无奈都需要我们勇敢地面对，豁达的处理。这时，是一味地埋怨生活，从此变得消沉？还是对生活满怀感恩，跌倒再爬起来？英国作家萨克雷说：“生活就是一面镜子，你笑，它也笑；你哭，它也哭。”感恩，是一种唱歌生活的方式，它来自对生活的爱与希望。

11、曾有一个佛陀，乘船渡江，不想风大浪高，把船打翻。佛陀像一片树叶般的在江中沉浮许久，才筋疲力尽爬上岸来。到岸上的第一件事，它不是责骂船家的无能让他丢失随身携带的一切，也不是诅咒恶风险浪差点要他的命，而是跪在沙滩上遥拜师傅：“谢谢师傅！”有人不解地问：“你为什么不谢谢菩萨？”佛陀说：“原来我并不喜欢游泳的，都是师父每次强把我拉入水中，教我学会的。不是师父，我命今日休矣！”遇难，不是责备任何一个人，而是心存感激，人生达到如此的超然境界，遇事如此的豁然通达，在这个世界上，还有什么事情能让你痛苦和愤恨的呢？

12、【动物的感恩】

你看出一条狗的寒冷，给它垫上温暖的棉絮，它躺在棉絮里以后会久久地看着你，它不能说话，只能用这种方式表达它的感激。

你看到一只鸟受伤，将它从猫嘴里夺下来，用药水治疗它的伤口，给它食物，然后将它放飞林中。它飞到树梢上也会回头来看你。它同样不能说话，只能用这种方式铭记你的救助。

低智能动物尚且会感激别人的救助，人类难道不也应该有颗感恩的心吗？狗和鸟会长久地凝视你离开表达感激之情，可是这一刻很快就会过去；他们可能很快忘却你。但有这一刻，世界就不再是原来的世界，感激的目光消失，但感激之情弥散在天地见，世界也就因此有温暖，有亲切。因而我们应当培养人与人之间的这份情感。

13、【堪弥的鞋带】
