Last week we had the school sports meet on our school sports ground. All my classmates took active parts in it. Sometimes we watched the sports games closely.Sometimes we gave loud cheers to the sports members.

John took a part in 1500-metre race. He was the fastest runner in the race and won the first place. Lisa did not do well in high-jump, so we said “come on” to cheer her up. I took part in 200-metre running race. As soon as I heard the starting PANG, I tried my best to run faster than others. As I was running I could hear “Come on! Sports Meeting

Last month we had a sports meeting.Though the weather wasnt very fine that day,the students were all very excited and the whole school was alive.

This time,I was even more excited.Because I went in for the sports meeting and my item was high jump.I didnt want to get any place,I only wanted to enjoy the game because I knew I wasnt good at sports.

When I got to the field with my friend.I was both excited and nervous.When I saw the first height,my heart could hardly heat.How high it was!It was higher than our desks.I couldnt believe my eyes.This was too high for me to jump over.I wasnt nervous at that timewhile I was a bit afraid.But I had gone there,I must have a try.

Not long after,the game began.The first person was great.He jumped over easily.I was too surprised to say a word.The second was good,too.The third nearly jumped over,but he wasnt bad…

It was my turn.I had a deep breath and then ran towards.In front of the pole,I began to jump.Oh,no!My right foot hit the pole.“I failed.” I thought.And then,another unlucky thing happened.I didnt stand firm and I tumbled.I hurt my back badly.At that moment I felt my back was broken.It was too painful.It seemed that the people around field all didnt know that,they only laughed at my foolish posture.After a very short rest,I stood up.

I push my pain back and then went out of the field with my red face.My friend hurried to come to me.He asked me if this was terrible.I was too pained with my back to answer his questions.I only shook my head.I was sad.Not only I had hurt my back but also I couldnt go on in the game.I had to see the others jump and wish them to get a good place.

My new teacher is science teacher. He’s very strong. He has a big mouth, two big ears, two big eyes and a not too big and not too small nose. He often wears a black new shirt and brown pants, with two big shoes.

瞧!这边的同学在打乒乓球呢，打得真激烈。你要是稍微打扰他一下，他绝对会不会理睬你，如果他失去打败对手的机会，他准会骂你。他们的乒乓拍碰到乒乓的时候发出“蹦蹦蹦”响声，像奏乐似的。对手一直把握机会，看，机会终于来了，对手反扣一板，动作实在太帅了，这一板突出了他的个性。

现在流行打蓝球了。同学们一下课就争分夺秒的去打篮球，特别是比赛最有趣，既能锻炼身体，又能培养团队合作精神，他对人们大有好处。那些校队经过集中训练，有着非同一般的球技，看见这一幕我真是对他们羡慕不已。长大后我也要当一名球员。

上体育课的时候老师命令我们做一分钟的仰卧起坐并做好记录，结果我们班的黄旭同学，打破了小学四年级的最高记录：51个仰卧起坐。他曾经在田际运动会中，经过艰辛的努力创造了奇迹，获得了第一名的好成绩。

■参赛须知

1、设计稿要求：设计稿规格27cmx40cm、装裱后规格29cmx42cm，包含效果图及款式图，设计稿正面请注明创意和工艺说明、并附上面料(5cmx5cm)及辅料小样。运动装每组作品系列要求4-5套，限报1人，提供正面和背面效果图及款式图;运动鞋每组作品系列3-5双，限报1人，提供正面、后背、内腰、外腰及鞋底部的效果图和款式图;

2、参赛作品应为原创，不得侵犯他人知识产权，一经发现取消比赛资格;可任选运动装或运动鞋设计其中之一或两类参赛;每件参赛作品应正确使用乔丹体育的标志(标志请从乔丹官网提取)。

3、参赛作品需符合大赛主题，体现积极向上的体育精神，同时应针对运动特点，设计中考虑到运动保护、运动功能提升、舒适性及时尚程度等多方面考量，做到设计独特、制作精细、服饰配套完整。

4、参赛设计稿一经提交概不退还，不符合投稿要求者组委会有权保留或取消其参赛资格的权利，截稿日期2017年6月20日(邮寄或快递均可)。参赛效果图背面需注明姓名、单位、联系地址、电话及电子信箱;参赛报名表请登录中国国际时装周官网、乔丹体育官网进行下载。

5、参赛者赴北京参加决赛期间的交通费自理，食宿费统一由主办方承担。

运动装组获金、银、铜奖及单项奖作品实物及运动鞋组入围作品实物由大赛主办方收藏，主办方有权宣传、展示全部参赛作品。

■评比方式

1、评委组成：国内外业内资深专家教授、职业设计师、时尚媒体、体育界(明星或主持人或评论员)等组成大赛评委团。

2、初赛：由评委对参赛运动装及运动鞋设计稿进行初评，评委根据设计稿的优劣，优选运动装及运动鞋入围选手各20名。

3、决赛及颁奖：以动态模特展示的形式进行，入围选手作品与颁奖同台进行的形式呈现。决赛评委现场进行评选，依评委打分排序确定获奖名次。

4、市场潜力奖评选：决赛过程中，评委根据实物作品决定出最具市场潜力系列作品。

5、网络人气奖评选：决赛前在中国国际时装周官网及官方微信平台投票页面，依据入围效果图进行投票，票数最高者得此奖项。

设计金奖2名(鞋服各1名)：奖励50000元人民币

设计银奖2名(鞋服各1名)：奖励30000元人民币

设计铜奖2名(鞋服各1名)：奖励20000元人民币

The Spring Sports Meeting

春季运动会

Our school usually holds a spring sports meeting each year. The spring sports meet this year was held last Friday. Many students took an active part in it. So did I.

我们学校通常每年举办一次春季运动会，今年的春季运动会在上个星期五举行。许多同学都积极参加，我也如此。

The sports meet began at eight oclock. After the opening, all kinds of races, both field-events and track-events, started one after another. I took part in the 1500-metre race. I felt a little nervous before the contest began because it was the first time that I had run at a school sports meet.

运动会八点开始，开幕式之后，各田赛和竞赛项目陆续开始。我参加1500米长跑，比赛前我有些紧张，因为这是我第一次参加校运动会项目。

My roommates stood around me, encouraging me," Come on. You were the winner of our grade in the Long-distance Competition last time. Be brave!" On hearing the shot of the starting gun, I shot from the starting point.

同学们围在我身边鼓励我：“振作精神，你是我们年级上次越野长跑冠军，勇敢些!”听到枪声，我从起跑线冲出。

I ran at a medium speed at the beginning because there was a long way to go and I had to maintain my strength. As soon as there was only 400 meters left, I began to quicken my speed. I caught up with other runners soon and won first place in the end. There was only one step between the second place and me!

开始时我以中等速度跑着，因为前面的路还长，我得保持体力。只剩400米时，我开始加速。很快我赶上了其他对手，终于夺得第一名，与第二名仅差一步。

My classmates ran to me, shouting and saying congratulations. I was very excited. It was also the last time for me to compete in my senior high school, for I will finish my high school in two months. I will never forget it.

All over the world millions of people take part in different kinds of sports. Sports are perhaps the most popular form of relaxation that almost all can enjoy.

Some people seem to think that sports and games are unimportant things that people do at times when they are not working. But in fact sports and games can be of great value, especially to people who work with their brains most of the day. They should not be treated only as ammusements.

Sports and games build our bodies, prevent us from getting too fat, and keep us healthy. They also give us valuable practice in helping the eyes, brain and muscles to work together. In table tennis, the eyes see the ball coming, judge its speed and direction, and pass the information on to the brain. The brain has to decide what to do and sends its orders to the muscles of the arms legs and so on, so that the bah is met and hit back where the player wants it to do. All this must happen with very great speed, and only those who have had a lot of practice can do this successfully.

Sports and games are also very useful for character-training. In their lessons, boys and girls may learn about such virrues as unselfishness courage disciple and love of ones country, but what is learned in books can not have the same deep effect on a childs character as what is learned through practice. Most of students time is spent in classes, studying lessons. So what the students do in their spare time is of great importance. If each of them learns to go all out for his team and not for himself on the sports field, he will later find it natural to work for the good of society, for the good of his country.
