I put a lot of firecrackers, Spring Festival is "ZuanTianHou", "ZuanTianHou" fly to the sky, making sound, very nice. The third set is butterfly fireworks, firecrackers butterfly a fire like a rocket flying, fly far away. 春节是一个重大和隆重的节日，春节代表着平安、幸福、团圆。我最喜欢过春节，因为可以放鞭炮，穿新衣服，得到压岁钱。

春节前一天是除夕，大家高高兴兴地在自己家门前贴春联，在厨房包饺子，吃饭前要放鞭炮。

春节我放了很多很多的鞭炮，有“钻天猴”，“钻天猴”一放马上飞到天上，发出啪啪的声音，非常好听。第二个放的是“大坦克”，像真的坦克一样冲了过去，开到一半就停了下来，发出五颜六色的光芒，美丽极了!第三个放的是蝴蝶花炮，蝴蝶花炮一点火就像火箭一样飞了出去，飞的很远很远。第四个放的是摔炮，摔炮向地上一扔就响，用脚一踩也响。

我非常喜欢过春节，要天天都是春节那该多好呀!

盼望着，盼望着，春节终于到来了。

清晨，我兴高采烈的穿着新衣，带着新帽，来和爷爷一起贴春联，挂彩灯，粘福字。“咦！爷爷把福字怎么贴倒了呢？”爷爷笑哈哈的说：“傻孩子，我们是在迎接福的到来呢。”我兴奋地一边跑，一边喊：“福到我家喽，福到我家喽！”

厨房里，爸爸妈妈正在忙碌着，准备着丰盛的年夜饭。有活蹦乱跳的大鲤鱼，有弓着腰的大对虾，有横冲直撞的大闸蟹，还有又肥又嫩的大鸡腿……看着这些美味佳肴，我的口水忍不住“吱溜”一下子就流了下来。我真想让它们早些成为我的口中餐，腹中物。

到了晚上，一家家张灯结彩，一盏盏霓虹灯把小院打扮的喜气洋洋。我们一家人团聚在一块儿，一起品尝着香香喷喷的年夜饭，一起收看着精彩的春节联欢晚会，晚会上那动听的歌声，优美的舞姿，搞笑的小品，逗得我们哈哈大笑。“五，四，三，二，一”新年的钟声终于敲响了，外面的鞭炮也噼里啪啦地响起来。夜空好像一下子披上了五彩缤纷的外衣。大片大片的烟花，有的像一朵朵绽放的花朵，有的似一条条飞流直下的瀑布，有的如一串串闪闪发光的珍珠……瞧！“钻天猴”拖着长长的尾巴，嗖的一声冲到了九霄云外，“小彩碟”像陀螺一样嗡嗡嗡地在地上旋转，“万花筒”吱吱吱地喷射出五颜六色的火花，真是让我目不暇接，眼花缭乱。

春节不仅给我带来了欢乐和喜悦，也给我带来了新的希望，在新的一年里，我一定要好好学习，争取取得更加优异的成绩，来回报亲人对我的爱。

Waking up on New Year, everybody dresses up. First they extend greetings to

their parents. Then each child will get money as a New Year gift, wrapped up in

red paper. People in northern China will eat jiaozi, or dumplings, for

breakfast, as they think "jiaozi" in sound means "bidding farewell to the old

and ushering in the new". Also, the shape of the dumpling is like gold ingot

from ancient China. So people eat them and wish for money and treasure.

Southern Chinese eat niangao (New Year cake made of glutinous rice flour)

on this occasion, because as a homophone, niangao means "higher and higher, one

year after another." The first five days after the Spring Festival are a good

time for relatives, friends, and classmates as well as colleagues to exchange

greetings, gifts and chat leisurely.

China has 56 ethnic groups. Minorities celebrate their Spring Festival

almost the same day as the Han people, and they have different customs.
