There is no doubt that traffic congestion becomes a growing worry for the

residents of most urban areas. Some major roads are regularly choked with

traffic in rush hours. The limited transport capacity contributes largely to the

vexing problem. How to solve the headache?.

systems and broadening major roads. Widening the existing roads can solve

Sweden has evolved an excellent system for protecting the individual citizen from high-handed or incompetent public officers. The Swedes were the first to recognize that public officials like civil servants, police officers, health inspectors or tax-collectors can make mistakes or act over-zealously in the belief that they are serving the public. He investigates complaints large and small that come to him from all levels of society. As complaints must be made in writing, the Ombudsman receives an average of 1, 200 letters a year. He has eight lawyer assistants to help him and he examines every single letter in detail. There is nothing secretive about the Ombudsmans work, for his correspondence is open to public inspection. If a citizens complaint is justified, the Ombudsman will act on his behalf. The action he takes varies according to the nature of the complaint. He may gently reprimand an official or even suggest to parliament that a law be altered. The following case is a typical example of the Ombudsmans work.

A foreigner living in a Swedish village wrote to the Ombudsman complaining that he had been ill-treated by the police, simply because he was a foreigner. The Ombudsman immediately wrote to the Chief of Police in the district asking him to send a record of the case. There was nothing in tthe record to show that the foreigners complaint was justified and the Chief of Police strongly denied the accusation. It was impossible for the Ombudsman to take action, but when he received a similar complaint from another foreigner in the same village, he immediately sent one of his lawyers to investigate the matter. The lawyer ascertained that a policeman had indeed dealt roughly with foreigners on several occasions. The fact that the policeman was prejudiced against foreigners could not be recorded in the official files. It was only possible for the Ombudsman to find this out by sending one of his representatives to check the facts. The policeman in question was severely reprimanded and was informed that if any further complaints were lodged against him, he would be prosecuted. The Ombudsmans prompt action at once put an end to an unpleasant practice which might have gone unnoticed.

从那天起，我便开始每天废寝忘食得练，我把钢琴弹得每天都是“水淋淋”的——汗水。当然，也不是光在家练，还要去老师那儿练。

时间过得飞快，转眼间，便到了考试的前天，妈妈对我说：“宝贝，你害怕吗?”“有点......”“你紧张吗?”“也有点......”“好，我给你两个选择：1.做一个‘胆大鬼’2.做一个胆小鬼，你选哪个?”我毫不犹豫地说：“当然是1了。”“宝贝，你选择了勇气，你就要战胜紧张，知道吗?女儿，祝你取得好成绩。”“Yes，长官。”我调皮地说。

考试时间转眼间就到了。妈妈带我去考级地点。一路上，我的心随着路程的一点点逼近在一点点加快跳的速度。等到了那儿，我的手脚都不听使唤了，直发抖。妈妈笑着对我说：“害怕啦!记住，你选择了勇气。”我看着妈妈恬静的脸，我的心渐渐的平静下来了。我笑着对妈妈说：“我是谁?我天不怕地不怕，怎么会怕这个!”

“刘子萍”随着一位老师的喊叫声，我来到了三楼考级教室，那位老师让我先坐下等等。

我坐在门外的椅子上，听着屋内的人弹的曲子，我越来越不安了。手上不断出冷汗，我有些想做一个胆小鬼了。“不能紧张，不能害怕，记住自己选择了勇气，冷静冷静。”我暗暗对自己说。

到我了，我微笑地向评委老师们鞠了一躬，坐到椅子上，弹起了倒背如流的曲子。那琴声时高昂，时轻快，时缓慢，时沉重。一曲终，评委老师们都鼓起了掌，我也松了口气。

选择勇气，就要用实力证明。我尝到了成功的果实!

据说牛的眼睛看东西是放大的，所以在比他小得多的牧童面前也俯首倾耳;鹅的眼睛看东西是缩小的，因而敢于向比他大得多的人发起进攻，常被人用来看家。我绝不敢提倡大家都像鹅那样看东西，无所敬畏，逞盲目之勇，但时不时地藐视点什么的勇气却不可或缺。

曹操藐视天下英雄，这样的勇气着实可敬。在他眼中，袁术、孙策等众多英雄豪杰，或为“冢中枯骨”，或为“守户之犬”，或为“虚名无实”，或为“碌碌小人”，一无可取;谢安的勇气则同样不俗，在他看来，什么百万之众，什么投鞭断流，无非一群“行尸走肉”，消灭尔等如“探囊取物”。我辈或许没有曹操、谢安的无畏之勇，但一样可以无畏社会上那些投机钻营的无耻小人，无畏那些拍马溜须的谄媚之徒，哪怕他们再有权势，我们也要有比阿尔卑斯山还高的勇气，与其斗争。

南朝山水诗人谢灵运，藐视同行，傲睨诗坛：“天才有一石，曹子建独占八斗，我得一斗，天下共分一斗。”北宋名士刘少逸恃才傲物，目无余子，有妙联曰：“目空天下士，只让尼山一个人。”我等自然没有，也不该有像这样两位狂妄自负，愤世嫉俗的勇气，人总要敬畏点什么，如圣人孔子之言：“人有三畏。”所以我们应学会敬畏，敬畏真正的大家，敬畏如莫言般的人，切不可逞一时之勇，无所敬畏。当然，我们自可于心平气和中无畏那些靠炒作出现的红得发紫的娱乐明星，无畏那些“用身体写作”热闹异常的美女、美男作家。在他们面前，我们要有，也必须有比阿尔卑斯山还高的勇气。

敬畏那些革命领袖吞吐宇宙的气魄，无畏那些巧取豪夺的贪官污吏;敬畏那些洁身自好的能人异士，无畏那些登龙有术的奸臣小人。于敬畏之中，方能建立那比阿尔卑斯山还高的勇气。

打铁先得自身硬，拥有此等勇气，自然需要一定资本。要想拥有目空无下士的勇气，自己就得才高八斗，学富五车;要想拥有视天下英雄如无物的勇气，自己就得是那顶天立地的真英雄;要想无畏那些蝇营狗苟之辈，自己就得是独善其身的真君子。若无资本，那所有的勇气都只是虚无缥缈，我们只能先学会敬畏，学会敬畏该敬畏的，再建立比阿尔卑斯山还高的勇气。

于敬畏中方显真勇!

一直都很喜欢雨，喜欢看雨从天而降，喜欢听雨敲打玻璃的声音，喜欢雨落在地上溅起的水雾……牛毛细雨也好，滂沱大雨也罢，我都喜欢。

依稀记得很小的时候，应该是幼儿园吧。有一天，外婆接我放学，在回家的路上，她给我猜了我人生中的第一个谜语：“千条线，万条线，掉在水里看不见？”我绞尽脑汁也猜不到，外婆告诉我那就是雨，也不知为什么，这个简单的谜语，就深深地烙进我的心中。

后来，上小学了，我特别喜欢下雨天，喜欢下雨天湿湿的味道，那时，我常常坐在靠窗的位置看雨，雨很细，很密。风微微地吹着，雨斜斜地织着，天地间一片朦胧，树木经雨水的清洗，把整个世界都染成了翠绿色，下课时，我忍不住把手放在窗口，让雨点轻轻亲吻着我的肌肤，朦胧中，我的双手好像变成了白色的船桨，正小心翼翼地划开那碧绿的涟漪……

再后来，我上初中了，每当雨天，我总爱走那条小道拿着伞，在弯曲的弄堂中散步。看雨水从屋顶所谓瓦片上汩汩地流下来，形成一道青白相间的雨帘，错落有致，打在青石板上，激起一排排水花，使小巷显得朦胧而悠长，像是戴望舒笔下的“雨巷”。雨天总是很安静，雨点打在伞上的滴答声和撞击在石板上的啪啪声，恍若天地间演奏着，那就是所调的“天籁”吧、

转眼间，又过了三年，我很失意，在模拟考试中考得一塌糊涂，看着窗外雨水滴滴的雨帘，窗外朦朦胧胧的灯光，天边粉红的夜幕。我不顾父母的叫喊冲出家门，雨下的很大，打在我的头发上，脸上，衣服上，我也不管，在雨中奔跑着，终于我累了，躺在草坪上，压抑已久的愁绪，似乎瞬间得到了释放，我丝毫也不觉得冷，我想起了父母的叫喊和路人诧异的眼光，只感觉到心中有一股火在奔腾，有一种希望在升腾。我相信，风雨过后就是有彩虹，明天依然是个阳光灿烂的晴天。

下雨天，真好！可以看雨点划过天空，可以看雨落在地上溅起的水雾，可以看白色船桨划过那碧绿的涟漪……或许我前生是一滴雨吧，今生让我到人间来体会。多么美丽的雨啊……

There is no doubt that we all want to be successful. But what’s the main

concern of the way to success? From Abraham Lincoln’s famous remark, “Give me

six hours to chop down a tree, and I will spend the first four sharpening the

axe”, I learn that if we want to achieve success, we must make full preparation

for it.

Only if we are well prepared, can we catch the opportunity which occurs

once in a while. In our daily life, we have to expand our horizon and lay a

solid foundation for success. It will be a long way to be successful thus we

have to accumulate our knowledge day by day. And we can’t achieve success in one

or two days. It will help us solve problems more efficiently if we have a broad

horizon. What’s more, opportunities always occur out of our expectation so we

have to make ourselves well prepared. If we prepared, we will catch up with it

whenever it comes up.

Opportunities give priorities to the people who make preparation for them.

What’s more, success goes along with opportunities. We should develop the

ability to solve problems in different and efficient ways therefore we can make

our way to success more easily.

“别怕，你能成功!”一个个鼓励的眼神，为我打下了一剂强心针。耳边呼啸的风，似乎也化为了温柔的低吟;让我恐惧的铁索链，似乎也变为了一条通畅无阻的桥。流云坦然，我的心，亦坦然了。

登牛头山。

途中，遇到一铁索桥：瘦弱的铁索桥在忽起忽落的风中剧烈地晃动，似乎随时都有可能被掀翻。

我攥紧了手心，额头上冒出了一层细汗，我开始害怕了心中，紧张地像被雨点敲打的窗户，“咚咚、咚咚”

同行的表弟招呼我：“姐姐，一起走吧!”我的脚底放佛生了根似的，我心虚地呆立在原地。

妈妈拉起我的手，紧紧地握住，然后说：“徐，别害怕，你能行!“

我点了点头，深吸了一口气，紧张而又略带迟疑地向铁索桥迈开了第一步

刚踏上桥，桥面就疯狂地颤抖起来，恰似波涛汹涌的大海中，一叶扁舟，面对惊涛骇浪，渺小得像一粒灰尘。

我死死攥着铁索桥的两盘的铁索，一步、两步，小心翼翼地挪动着脚步。我的腿放佛灌了铅，紧张的发抖。

忽而，有几阵风撩起我额上被汗水粘住的几绺发丝，微风轻抚着我的脸庞，心旷神怡。牛头山上，乳白的岚烟若丝带般萦绕在山间，恍若仙境。一时间，我竟找回了勇气，脱离了恐惧。

走着走着，越发轻松起来。铁索桥似乎变得平稳了，放佛一位稚气未脱的女孩蜕变成一位亭亭玉立的少女，又似毛毛虫破茧成蝶蜕变成一只美丽的蝴蝶。我的勇气呢，似乎也如此。

终于，走到了铁索桥的终点。其实，铁索桥也并非那么可怕，只要你，揣怀勇气

我回眸，岚烟环绕的牛头山间，横跨一座铁索桥，两景相融美得像一幅画，美得像山仙子遗落的一个梦。

面对成功的甘甜果实，每一个人都趋之若鹜，然而却在前行的路上缺乏勇气，不能勇往直前，在半路就失去了前行的动力，诚然，这样是无法收获成功的。成功需要勇气，最畏突然放弃。

成功的路上是不平稳的，我们要有勇气去面对上天给我们设计的各种考验。用勇往直前的拼劲去面对人生中的各种考验、磨练，我们必能在苦难的时光的打磨下，焕发出耀眼的光芒，收获珍贵的成功。

暑假，多年不见的初中同学又再次聚在一起，交谈之间，我们不禁惊叹：两个各方面条件都相当的人，竟然过着截然不同的生活。小A和小C是一起的同桌、舍友兼退学拼搏的好朋友，在学习能力以及就业目标上都有说不尽的相似。然而不同的是他们的个性不同，小A做事追求拼搏，充满了挑战自我的勇气。相反，小C却只注重眼前，向往平稳，遇到一些事，那些他认为自己做不到的事，他就会放弃，一点都没有勇气去尝试。无疑就是因为这，他们才过上了截然不同的人生。

在他们选择退学，到社会拼搏时，也不乏一些公司向他们抛出了橄榄枝。面对机会，小A果断前进，即使是自己从未接触过得陌生工作，他还是毫不畏惧，勇敢的学习，他的超凡勇气让老板十分地器重他。而小C在小A的鼓励下，不情不愿地进入了公司，面对陌生的工作，他只会一味的推脱，而没有勇气去尝试，最终无奈被斥退，经过几番周折，才找了一个送快递的工作。

虽然我们常常说：人要有自知之明，或是说要认清自己是否是干这个的料，认清自己才能收获成功。但是，又有几个人能够真正的认清自己呢?人是充满潜能的，简单的自我感觉只能肤浅的了解我们的表面，却不能完全认识我们自己。而此时，能够帮我们认清自己，收获成功的便是——勇气，勇敢地去尝试，试一下才能知道自己是否真的不适合，才能知道自己适合什么，然后再朝着这个正确的方向勇往直前。

成功需要勇气，只要你有勇气去拼搏，去努力，属于你的成功总会到来的!
