春节就是中华民族的传统节日，差不多在腊月初旬就开始了。

这个时候，孩子们已放假，大人们也忙碌着买衣服、蔬菜等春节必备物。随着鞭炮声的逐渐稠密，春节就来临了。

“腊七腊八，冻死寒鸦。”这就是一年里最冷的一天。在腊八这天，家家都要熬腊八粥。腊八粥就是用各种米、各种豆和各种干果熬成的。每一碗粥都就是一场农业展览会。

腊月二十三过小年，这一天就是要祭灶的，人们在灶台的墙上贴好灶王爷的画像，画像前摆上整只公鸡或整只猪头，在点上两只蜡，上三柱香，放上贡品。待三柱香燃尽后，用手将蜡烛扇灭，切莫不可用吹的，否则便就是对灶王的不敬。

过了二十三，就要大扫除了。窗帘、床单、被套、枕巾务必洗一遍，墙裙、玻璃也得擦干净，以显出万象更新的派头。

到了除夕，就能够穿新衣服了。对联、门花都要在下午三点前贴好。这天晚上，一家人嗑着瓜子、吃着糖、喝着饮料，看着热闹的春节联欢晚会。到了十二点钟，各家各户鞭炮齐鸣，还务必守岁。

从正月初一开始，就要到亲戚朋友家拜年。小一辈的人领着孩子，带着礼物到老辈家里拜年，老辈要给小辈的孩子发压岁钱。

元宵上市，又一个春节的高潮到了。正月十五，各单位各部门都会挂出各式各样的花灯来，有旋转式的，有卡通式的，也有象征企业或单位的辉煌业绩的，各具特色，令人应接不暇。接下来，就该烟花出场了，随着花炮的燃放声，一朵朵漂亮的烟花在空中怒放……

就这样，春节就在欢呼声和燃放声中落幕了。

It was sunny and hot today. I got up early at half past six. I read English

and then had breakfast. I helped my mother washed the dishes. Then I did my

妈妈把饺子皮托在手心上，然后夹一筷子饺子馅的，放在饺子皮的正中间，再把饺子皮对折一下，用双手的拇指和食指熟练的一捏，一个胖乎乎的饺子就呈现在我的面前。

我照着妈妈教的方法开始包啦，第一个饺子的样子很难看，但总算有点模样啦。接着就是第二个、第三个，包的一个比一个好。

饺子包好啦，要开始下锅煮啦。妈妈先烧开一锅水，然后把饺子一个个轻轻的下进去，再用勺子背轻轻的推着，生怕把饺子弄破了。

不一会儿，锅开了，妈妈又往锅里添了半碗水。不时的用勺背轻轻的推着，我问妈妈为什么要添水呢?妈妈说：“煮饺子要滚三滚，饺子才能煮透，皮筋陷软”。锅又开了，妈妈又往锅里添了半碗水，然后和以前一样用勺子轻轻的推着。

饺子煮好了，要开始捞了，只见妈妈用漏勺把饺子盛出来，结果我包的煮烂了两三个，不过，吃着自己的劳动成果，心里还是美滋滋的。
