新中国成立后，1955年举行的“全国文字改革会议”上，张奚若在大会主题报告中说明:汉民族共同语早已存在，现在定名为普通话，需进一步规范，确定标准。“这种事实上已经逐渐形成的汉民族共同语是什么呢?这就是以北方话为基础方言，以北京语音为标准音的普通话。”“为简便起见，这种民族共同语也可以就叫普通话。”

1956年2月6日，国务院发布的《关于推广普通话的指示》中，对普通话的含义作了增补和完善，正式确定普通话“以北京语音为标准音，以北方话为基础方言，以典范的现代白话文著作为语法规范”。“普通话”一词开始以明确的内涵被广泛应用。

二、从方言闹笑话看普通话由来渊源

话说一个北方人到宁波出差，向人问路。宁波人以“灵桥牌”答曰：“呱叽呱叽向前揍，前面一个大坏蛋!”北方人愕然。原来，宁波人的意思是：“骨直骨直向前走，前面一个大花坛!”像这种因方言不同闹出的笑话随处可闻。其实，即使是在同一个方言区内，也常如“鸡同鸭讲”，不知所云。如福建就号称“八闽互不交通”，虽同为闽语，却分闽南话、闽北话、闽东话、闽中话、莆仙话等，保管听得你一头雾水，不辨“南北”。普通话由来渊源跟我国多个民族多种方言的现状有着不可分割的联系，普通话由来便是以此国情为出发点，方言闹笑话也可看出说普通话的重要性。

1931年，日本发动了九一八事变，开始了把中国变为其独占殖民地的阶段。东北开展了抗日游击战争，全国掀起抗日救亡运动。国民党政府制定的所谓“攘外必先安内”国策，压制抗日救亡运动，1935年华北事变发生，民族危机日益严重，在这种形势下，北平爆发了著名的一二九学生运动。

这次声势浩大的抗日救国游行共有6000多学生参加，他们高喊“打倒帝国主义”，“反对华北自治”，“停止内战，一致对外”等口号，向国民党当届请愿，但受到了军警镇压，一共有30多人被捕，百余人受伤。但他们毫不气馁，酝酿更大规模的斗争。以上这些充分体现了那个年代青年学生的革命与爱国精神。

相反，若是自始自终你都一直在认真往前跑，那样，你位于别人前面，感觉才能很轻松，最后到达目的地时，也不会感到太吃力。这样的学习才是最科学，最有效的。

“大江东去，浪淘尽，千古风流人物.”溯今而古，亘古而今，无论哪一朝哪一代，风华正茂的青年人都是豪放的一代，激情的英华一代，以国家大义，民族大任为使命的风流一代!68年前，北平的热血青年学生们在中国共产党的领导下，毅然发动了“一二·九”运动;68年后的今天，我们这一代幸福青年在这里集会演讲纪念“一二·九”运动，缅怀先人，弘扬爱国精神，激昂民族正气，不禁让人思绪万千，感慨千万。

如果说，中国古代的历史宛如锦绣织成，那么它近代的岁月则是被血浸透.鸦片战争后，曾经一度领先世界达千多年的中国被抛到时代大潮之末，屡遭船坚炮利的西方列强的欺凌，腐朽无能的旧政权使我们的列祖列宗也为中华民族的受苦受难而长太息，“泪添九曲黄河溢，恨压三山六岳低”，用这句话来形容中国人的百年屈辱百年长恨意尤未足.

中国内部斗争，外强侵略，“一二·九”运动就在这样的背景下爆发的。

1935年12月9日，寒风凛冽，草木凋零，北平五六千名学生冲破国民党军警的阻拦，举行示威游行，喊出了时代的呼声，沉重打击了国民党的卖国活动，唤醒了更多的民众.运动迅速波及全国，掀起了全国抗日救亡运动的高潮，继五四运动后，再一次书写了青年学生以天下为已任的辉篇章!

说到这，不禁引起了我的两点感想。

第一，中国不久必将统一。一二·九运动的爆发，迅速促成了抗日统一联盟的形成，展现了整个民族团结统一的决心与力量.再回首华夏五千年沧桑，不难发现，秦皇汉武开创的统一大业，中经隋唐的继承，加工和发展，在政治体制和经济格局是反复夯实焊牢，已臻完善至不可移易;合了分，分了合，最后定于合，归于分，统一的观念和思想得到社会各阶级阶层的朝野内外的一致认同根深蒂固，并成为臧否人物评判是非衡量功过的人心所向的道德准则和行为价值取向。

蒋介石没有吸取一二·九运动的忠告，结果被日寇的铁蹄踢出南京，带来了惨绝人寰的大屠杀，最后他只能狗急跳海，跳到了台湾岛去安享晚年，使两岸同胞骨肉分离，最终丧失了政权，这是前车之鉴。
