每逢双休日，当你去鲁迅故里的话，还没跨进景区的门口，就能闻到一股浓浓的臭味扑面而来，让人恨不得躲得远远的。但当你进近，就会发现，这里的臭豆腐摊前早已就是人满为患了，吃货们的队伍排得像一条长龙，大家都伸长了脖子，等待着新出锅的闻着臭吃着香的美食了。再加上一些甜面酱或就是辣酱，大大地咬上一口，“嗯！”外酥里嫩，一定会让你百吃不厌的。

其实，臭豆腐的制作过程也不难，主要就是要有好的卤汁。把整块的豆腐节成均匀的约三厘米大小的小方块，在老卤汁里浸泡上一两天，然后沥干，接下来就可以下油锅炸了。当臭豆腐下锅后，先让它们在油锅里翻滚一会儿，待微微泛黄的时候，再用筷子轻轻的翻一下，不一会儿，臭豆腐就变得有些金黄色了，马上就要起锅啦！不过，要记住，心急可吃不了热豆腐，刚出炉的臭豆腐可就是有点烫，小心嘴巴被烫伤了。
