在小说中，作者和读者都更易关注人物与情节，而环境往往被忽视。环境描写自然是不可或缺的，在谈环境描写的套路前，我们先给它分个类。

在小说中，环境的内涵主要指社会背景、自然景色和情感氛围三个方面。 更多时候，人们习惯把后两者合二为一，将环境分为社会环境与自然环境两类。

社会环境：指情节展开的社会背景、历史条件、风土人情、时代风貌等，它范围极广，小至一屋一室、一街一巷，大至国家时代，无所不包，既可以是独立出现的文段，也可以是贯穿全文的渗透。

自然环境：即自然景物描写，如日月星辰、时序节令、花草树木等，在小说中往往起到点缀陪衬的作用，笔墨极少，隐含在情节叙述和人物塑造之中。

写景用图

①交代故事背景

即交代时间、地点、时代背景，暗示社会环境。

②渲染氛围，奠定基调

绝对客观的环境描写不存在。自然环境的描写必定与人物的情感形成不同程度上的暗合。

③表现人物

环境里藏着人物的身世地位、文化教养、生活状况以及精神品质等等。环境描写可用于衬托人物心情，交代人物身份，表现（影响、决定）人物性格，暗示人物命运。

④推动情节发展

情节发展与自然环境描写往往是相互依存、相互制约的：自然环境描写以情节为依据，而情节发展又常常依赖于自然环境的推动。

⑤暗示作品主题

反过来说，我们分析小说的主题，离不开对人物和情节的细致分析，也离不开对自然环境的细致揣摩。

写景技巧

选取一些具有代表性的事物，抓住特征，或通过细节描写、场面描写、白描（粗笔勾勒，突出特征）、细描（精雕细刻，浓墨重彩）等手法，或借助比喻、拟人等修辞手法，或采用动静结合，虚实结合，正侧结合，点面结合，声色结合，明暗对比，色彩搭配，渲染、衬托、烘托等表现手法，着力描写环境。

我习惯把上述技巧名词罗列在大纲文档中，当我笔力不够，这段文字会提醒我：你看，有这么多方法，挑个用吧。

偶尔我也会从网上找来一张契合小说环境的图，用文字把图描绘出来。不得不说，这比描绘脑子里构想的画面，要更轻松和好把握。

此文开头我说环境描写最容易被忽视。那么，不写环境会怎样？

那些没有任何背景设定的小说，被称作患有“白色房间综合征”——仿佛一切都发生在一个平凡无奇的房间里：四面白墙、白色天花板、白色地板——这个名字也极贴切。

如果写景过度呢？

有句话我不记得原文，大意类似于：如果读者想了解阿尔卑斯山，他会去看专门的百科介绍，而不是通过一本小说。

New Years Day is one of important days for many people in the world during the year. Most people spend the New Years Day in hotels. January 1st is considered as the New Years Day. Most companies, shops, school, and government offices are closed during that time. People prepare for New Years Day from late December. First, people spend a few days to clean their houses completely. Some families then put up some new painting from November to be sent in January. The New Years meal is also prepared from the end of December. During the New Years Day, people usually do not cook and relax at home. On New Years Eve, it is common to have a bag dinner with family members or friends at home or in hotels and hear bells which informs us of the coming New Year. On New Years Day, people greet each other. Some people wear new coats and visit temples to pray for happiness and health through out the New Year. Children are busy with getting the gifts from their parents and relatives.

The beautiful autumn came, and the fruit trees were covered with red lanterns. The countrys children jumped and shouted, and the fields echoed their silver bell-like laughter.

The environmental pollution is worse and worse /more and more seriously today. Water is polluted; we have no clean water to drink. Many trees are cutting down, some animals is getting less and less. Some factories are pouring dirty air in the sky, the population is increasing faster and faster, resources are getting less and less…etc. Not only does it affect our lives and health, it but also has agreat affection in the future. Peoples health has been greatly affected by air, noise and water pollution. Many people died of diseases. In order to live a better life, we need protect our world.

We shouldn’t throw away rubbish everywhere. We want to recycle, reduce, reuse things .Don’t waste things. This saves money and reduces pollution. Use things for as long as possible. We don’t use plastic bags. We must plant more trees and stop the people cutting them .We hope our worldbecomes more and more beautiful.

A Visit to the Flower Show

Last week Nature Park held a flower show. I went to visit it with my friends. I was very glad to see so many beautiful flowers in the park. I was really amazed to see a sea of colourful

flowers. They told me that some rare flowers came from Taiwan. Thousands of people stopped and watched them carefully. I took many pictures there. Taiwan has always been a part of our country. I am sure sooner or later we can go there to see many more beautiful flowers. What great fun it will be.

Autumn, how people yearn for the season! Everywhere fruit fragrance, fruitful. There is golden ocean of rice fields. Autumn wind blowing, like a lively and lovely little girl, wearing gold clothes, with gold cap, dancing in the wind to see. That mountain also learn paddy fields covered with a dazzling color of the clothes are green, golden, and dark, colorful, for the old autumn added a trace of gorgeous.
