As time goes by, man is making the earth sick. People cut down too many trees and leave rubbish everywhere. Factories let out their waste without doing anything to it . This has caused some serious problems. Such as the land is sandy, the river is dirty, the air is less clean, even the temperature of the earth is rising. What should we do to save the earth ? As an engineering student majoring in environmental systems, I have strong awareness of the environment and want to work in the field of environmental protection. 我难以相信小时候被誉为“最美海岸线”的风景如今已经变成了无人敢接近的垃圾场，从外婆的口中我得知，原来这处风景因为太出名吸引了不少游客前来旅游，因为无人管制，人们就随意把食品袋和塑料瓶扔在沙滩上，久而久之，虽然当地的居民自发开始捡垃圾，但是因为污染太过严重，许多海洋生物误食垃圾导致大片鱼虾死亡，如今很多居民已经搬离了离海边很近的住所。

在回家的路上我想了许多，原本“环境保护，人人有责。”这句话口号并没有引起我的重视，但如今这个残酷的现实却提醒我，环境保护，真的需要每个人去维护，不要肆意去破坏生态平衡。

森林，地球的肺，为人类带来的好处不计其数：防洪、放沙暴、过滤空气等等等等，数不胜数。可现在呢?森林正在以每分钟38公顷的速度大面积减少，没有了森林，我们的地球就好象少了一根支柱，地球就好象开始摇摇欲坠起来。

面对这样的地球，我们能怎么做?我们应该怎么做?

首先应该从根本上做起，从我们力所能及的事情做起：节约用水，争取少污染水，拒绝食用野生动物……如果说全国每个人在每次用水后都关上水龙头，那么，一天下来，我们可以省19个水缸的水。如果我们多用肥皂，少用洗洁精，有许许多多的水避免受到污染。我曾见过这样一条宣传标语：利用可再生资源—别等到能源耗竭的那一天!的确，人类目前使用的能源90%是石油、天然气和煤。

这些燃料的形成过程需要亿万年，是不可再生的资源。太阳能、风能、潮汐能、地热能则是可再生的，被称为可再生能源。人们把那些不污染环境的能源称为“清洁能源”。使用清洁能源就能避免污染了。像今年国家很提倡的“支持绿色照明——人人都用节能灯”就是一个很好的例子：“中国绿色照明工程”是我国节能重点之一。按照该工程实施计划，“九五”期间全国将推广节能高效照明灯具。到2000年争取节约照明用电220亿千瓦时，并节省相应的电厂燃煤，减少二氧化硫、氮氧化物、粉尘、灰渣及二氧化碳的排放。

诸如此类，像这样的事我们还能做很多，就让我们一起为环保努力吧!

星期五，我们上了一节班会课，是关于环保方面的——说说地上的白纸片。

白纸片?大家似乎都不陌生，现在班级的地面上不都是纸片吗，地上的白纸片也太微不足道了，老师到底想要讲什么呢?

一上课，老师先让我们把自己地面上的纸捡净，然后说一说看到地上有白纸片应该怎么办?“捡起来扔进附近的垃圾桶里!”全班几乎是异口同声。说是这么 说，但是在现实生活中谁做到了?谁见到白纸片把它捡起来了?不都是装作没看见，上去狠狠地踩上一脚或把纸偷偷地踹到过道踢到前后同学桌子底下吗?

纸是多么的重要，纸是经过树木砍伐提炼出来的，一颗树又能制造出多少张纸?如果一人撕下一张纸，那中国十三亿人民就会撕下十三亿张纸，这是一个多么 庞大的数字呀!保护环境更重要，在外国“请不要随地吐痰，请不要乱扔纸屑”这样的语句都是汉语。我们这个“文明之邦”的素质又何在?我们在别的国家心目中 怎是如此的形象?所以，保护环境，从我做起;保护坏境，从一点一滴的小事做起。如果世界上没有垃圾纸屑，有许多的树，那将会减少多少的灾难;如果一个校园 没有纸屑，那会给人一种怎样舒畅、愉悦的心情;如果一个班级里没有纸屑，那一天的学习生活又是多么的愉快和轻松呀!所以，我们应该捡起地上的“白纸片”保 护我们的“白纸片(树)”保存我们的“白纸片(森林)”。我想：以后看见地面上有纸屑和垃圾等杂物，我一定要主动捡起来，扔进附近的垃圾桶里，如果没有就 放进口袋里带回家。将地上的白纸片好好地节约、利用、回收和管理。

说说地上的白纸片，说出了太多。但最重要的还是保护环境，从我做起。

在我国，发电主要靠燃煤，而地球上的煤是有限的。按此刻的耗用速度，全球的煤将在250年内消耗。到那之后，我们将无任何煤留给我们的后代。

It is undeniable that the worsening environment has become the biggest concern of the present-day world. Land resources are dwindling because of water loss and soil erosion. Waste gases poison the air we breathe. The rivers and lakes are polluted by waste dumped in them from factories. 今天，萧山日报小记者团在江寺公园举办了“世界环境日”活动。公园里热闹非凡，到处都是小记者们的身影，有做小报童的、有画“百米长卷”的、有DIY环保袋的，当然还有我要参加的制作七彩麻绳笔筒活动。这个笔筒的制作活动就是要我们变废为宝、保护环境。

我来到制作笔筒的指定位置，只见许多像我一样的小记者席地而坐，围成一个圈，圈的正中央放着一大堆制作笔筒的材料，有各种颜色的麻绳、有装饰用的小绒球，还有各种漂亮的花边。当然最关键的材料就是我们自带的空罐子，有的是茶叶罐、有的是薯片罐，而我则带了一个空的啤酒罐。

首先我用了黄色、紫色、蓝色、绿色四种颜色的麻绳，在啤酒罐上按照从上到下的顺序一圈一圈地缠绕上去，然后把我事先准备好的小绒球、花边，用胶水粘在罐身上，这样笔筒就做好了。经过装饰的啤酒罐现在就像一位美丽的小公主，亭亭玉立地展现在了我眼前。瞧，够简单吧！

其实变废为宝是一件非常有意义的事情，丰富生活、节约能源，保护我们的环境。

Many animals are in danger of dying out. As is shown in the chart, we can

see the number of animal species decreases faster and faster and this trend will

continue. From 1980 to 2010, at least 1 million animal species have disappeared.

Worse still, more and more wild animals are in great danger. It is not a piece

of sensational news; it is a fact, a harsh reality. Unfortunately, we may not

see these animals in the near future.

From the second picture, we can find some reasons. Why is the number of

animal species declining year by year? Apparently animals have become victims of

fashion industry. Animal skin has been used to make fashionable clothes and

these clothes sell at a high price. So some greedy people begin to kill animals

in a large quantity. This irresponsible behavior not only breaks the balance of

nature but also endangers the living environment of human beings.

As far as I am concerned, something must be done to stop this illegal

action. We believe "no buying, no killing". First, we must make concerning laws

to protect these animals in danger. Second, we must take some measures to

protect animals effectively. Animals are our friends and part of our

environment. Third, we should raise peoples awareness to protect animals and

our environment. In this way, we can build a harmonious society and ensure a

sustainable development.

但是我们居住的环境就发生了很大的变化，河水没有之前清澈了，天空没有之前蓝了，环境污染特别严重。环境越来越差，到处可见垃圾袋，更有人把小区里的绿化毁了，种上了蔬菜。这些还不是最严重的，更严重的是春天槐花开了，有的人为了一己私欲用钩子把槐花给拉了下来，不一会数上就光秃秃的。没有一点春意的感觉。让人看了心疼。不仅如此，秋天桂花开了，人们照样去采摘桂花，摘桂花不让他们有一点难过，这种事情兴许你也做过，也看到过，但是你们制止过这样的行为吗？

我的梦就是保护环境，保护本土植物，让植物品种不在单一，病虫灾害变少。拒绝滥砍滥伐要从小做起，在小区的荒地上种一些花草树木，不仅可以绿化环境，还可以防沙固土，何乐而不为呢？不仅自己要做，还要向同学们宣传植树造林的好处，让同学们也参加到植树造林的环境中走来。还可以向老师们提议在校园的一些荒地上，种植一些树木。让校园变的更加生机盎然，充满生机。眼睛多看一些绿色，也是有好处的，可以使眼睛放松，有利于我们的视力提高呢。保护环境，人人有责，让我们一起行动吧，植树造林，刻不容缓。

我们即使不参加活动，也不能乱扔垃圾。看见垃圾要捡起。做一个好学生。减少水土流失，打造一个鸟语花香，环境优美，令人向往的中国吧。
