记得从我上幼儿园起，每年的暑假我大都在学校度过，什么演讲班、写作班、美术班、书法班等等的兴趣班，挤掉了我几乎所有游玩的时间，也花费了父母很多的金钱，但我感到并不快乐。今年放暑假时，我什么兴趣班都没有报名参加，爸爸妈妈也非常支持我的决定，让我过一个痛痛快快的的假期。

假期刚一开始，舅舅就开车来接我去了外婆家，刚好我读高中的表哥也在家，我就和表哥一起在家做起了暑假作业，不懂的地方向他请教，很快我的数学作业就完成了。空余时间，我还去参观舅舅开办的绣花厂，看到打工的叔叔阿姨们艰苦的生活，我体会到了我的童年生活是多么的幸福!有时我还和表哥去田间地头玩耍，到小河里去钓龙虾，到菜园里采摘外公亲手种植的新鲜蔬菜，真是有趣极了。

八月的绍兴天气非常的炎热，我便和妈妈及其他几个朋友去四川旅游。我们游览了峨眉山、乐山大佛、青城山、都江堰、九寨沟、黄龙风景区等著名的景点，特别是峨眉山的猴子、九寨沟的山水和黄龙的清凉让我无比的兴奋。

这个假期，我还去了美丽的海岛朱家尖，在那里我见到了很多的沙雕，并且意外地知道了沙雕原来并不是完全用沙子堆起来的，而是在塑料的模型上再加上一层沙子罢了，当然样子还是惟妙惟肖的。我还花了三个小时在海滨浴场学游泳，虽然我吃了不少咸咸的海水，肚子胀胀的，但是游泳的水平却大有长进，我的胆子也更大了。

这就是我的假期，让我永远难以忘怀!

The night of November 12th, 2010 was indeed a glorious night for our Chines, because the Opening Ceremony of Asian Games was held on Haixinsha Island in Guangzhou. Over 7000 people took part in it.

这时姨夫跳下水，作示范，我仔细观察了一番。他又回来，拉我下水，不停地比划：“左右手各划一次……打水六次……呼吸一次……要有节奏，试试!”

我注意起动作，可每次吸气，都会吸进水来。姨夫叫停说：“动作掌握得挺好……但要注意放松，注意呼吸，不要僵硬……再来!”

我又划了起来：抡臂、划水、转头、吸气、移臂、还原……。不知是姨夫教导有方，还是我悟性超群，我竟能一下横渡泳池了，还敢玩到了深水区!

“来，咱俩比比!”“比就比!”我拼了命划水，早已成竹在胸。果然，姨夫落后了!瞧，小表弟正抱在姨夫腰上呢!

晴上午

刚从普陀回来，突然有一种顿悟的感觉，但我刚刚又回到了人间。

到了普陀，已是傍晚，天色微凉，月色微暗。我们所住的酒店在山的旁边，在云雾缭绕中，几栋别墅若隐若现，不由令我心生敬畏之情。也给普陀这个地方，冠上了一个不食人间烟火的标签。

我们驱车到了码头，轮渡到了普陀山下。舟山靠海，普陀山下有沙滩，一番挣扎决择中，我选择了沙滩。我喜欢沙滩，我喜爱海。或许即使我选择了上山，我也会心有他念，不够虔诚。

我们去得早，偌大的沙滩上只有寥寥几人。慵懒的海风斜斜的吹到我们的身上，温热的沙滩暖暖的照映着我们。这时的海是柔软的，这时的沙滩是柔和的。普陀的海不是海水青蓝，反而堆着沙子，水也不是很多，只是在小坑之间，有一个个水坑。海水和泥沙的颜色是灰的，却生机勃勃。漫步其中，会发现一步会掀起许多小的涟漪。那是小小的鱼儿在欢嬉。大大小小的石块错落有致，翻开了一块块石头，会遇到许多只小螃蟹。闲来无聊我抓了许多，可爱至极。

太阳的光芒越来越耀眼，照着沙滩熠熠生辉。这是的海是耀眼的，沙滩微微灼烤着我们。躺在沙滩上，望向山里，隐约可见南海观音，无数的游人像蚂蚁一样，密密麻麻成群结队的爬向自己心目中的神灵。再看看那被我抓住的螃蟹和鱼虾，正在挣扎着。他们正在努力的爬出去，我并没有像往常一样把他们捉进来，而是不由自主的帮助他们爬出去。其实对神灵的信仰，不需要三步一叩首的跪拜，只需要在生活中心存善念，宽宏大量。

The Laba Festival is a traditional Chinese holiday celebrated on the eighth day of the twelfth month of the lunar Chinese calendar. "La" is the name given to the 12th lunar month and 8 is pronounced as "ba" in Chinese, which translated is "Laba." There are several legends about the origin of this festivity and we could not tell which one is true. But what we know today is that this festival started as a sacrificial offering to ancestors. It was also a time for the ancient Chinese to pray to heaven and earth that there would be a bountiful harvest. Many people hoped for good luck as well for the coming year.

农历十二月初八是中国的传统节日——腊八节，腊代表中国农历的十二月，而八是eight的发音，因此，这个节日被翻译成腊八。关于腊八起源的传说有很多，我们已经不能辨其真假。时至今日，我们确定的是这个节日起初是为了祭祀祖先，祈求丰收以及为即将来到的一年祈福。

Traditionally, the Laba rice porridge is the most important element of the festival. Generally, the porridge contains eight ingredients which can include glutinous rice, red beans, millet, Chinese sorghum, peas, dried lotus seeds and some other ingredients, such as dried dates, chestnut meat, walnut meat, almond, peanut, etc. The porridge must be boiled for many hours and then offered as a sacrifice to the ancestors. This must be done before noontime. Also, it is tradition that family members eat the porridge together. Then they leave some as a symbol of hope for a good harvest the coming year.

I have been living in Beijing for some time now and I find it very interesting here.

There are so many similarities between Beijing and London. They are both the capital of the country and are both very important cities. Both places have huge populations. They are both the economical, political and cultural center. They both have many historical and cultrual

I also found many differences in the two cities. In London we drive on the left side of the road, while in Beijing they drive on the right side. Most people in London go to work via public transportation, here in Beijing most people rides bycicles. In London the weather is always cloudy, here in Beijing most the the time it s sunny. And in London most student don t spend their time efficiently, but here in Beijing many people speak English cause they study hard.

到西安怎能不去兵马俑呢?我当然要去探访兵马俑一览无余了。兵马陶俑特别高大威武，是守卫秦始皇陵的卫士。他们数量众多、一望无际;他们体型高大，十分壮观。他们是世界第八大奇迹，是古代劳动人民的智慧结晶。

西安除了兵马俑，最吸引人的地方在哪里呢?当然是回民小吃街啦!夕阳西下，夜晚的回民街依旧人来人往、热闹非凡。街道两边各种特色小吃店散发出阵阵诱人的香味。走着逛着，会发现很多制作冰淇淋卷的小店。我忍不住好奇心，一边看人家现场制作一边也买了一份芒果味的品尝。只见店员先把一包酸奶倒在特殊的炒冰铁板上，加入芒果汁，然后不停的翻炒，反复铺平再敲打再翻炒，我立刻觉得这不就和我们郑州的炒酸奶很像嘛。等翻炒的很均匀之后的操作终于体现出冰淇淋卷和炒酸奶的区别了，只见店员先把炒好的酸奶厚厚的平铺在铁板上，然后用铲子从最边上开始，一铲子一行推到底行程自然打卷，一行一行铲出平均四厘米宽的卷卷，大小厚薄均匀一致，手法熟练、一气呵成。然后把每一个卷卷立起来排放在小碗中，再撒上果脯调料，好像手里捧了一碗美丽的花朵，漂亮极了!我等不及立刻用小勺挖了一口品尝，浓浓的奶香在口中慢慢的散开，冰凉的感觉沁人心脾，顿时觉得七月三伏天里浑身的燥热都被驱赶的干干净净。由于原料使用的是新疆特有的超浓郁的酸奶，所以吃起来看起来都跟冰淇淋毫无区别。

我一边品尝着美味的冰淇淋卷，一边继续向前走，一间间特色精品店映入眼帘。一个个小巧精致的兵马俑挂件吸引了我的注意。他们的样子惟妙惟肖、形象逼真。就好像原来威武高大的兵马俑人被哆啦A梦变小了一样可爱。小小的战马也肌肉丰满有力，看起来好像已经准备好了上战场。小小的精品店商品琳琅满目，真是带给我惊喜连连啊!

一个暑假很快就过去了，西安旅行的回忆却挥之不去，我喜欢西安这个历史感与现代感共存的城市。期待下一个暑假，期待下一次西安的邂逅!
