Do You Prefer High Salary or A Promising Job?

When it comes to the choice of career, some people prefer the job with high salary. Why?

Their reasons run as following: to begin with, high salary can bring them happy life; in addition, with high salary, they can do whatever they want.

But some others prefer to choose a job with promising future. They base their choice on the following reasons: on one hand, a promising job itself means a raise and promotion in the future; on another hand, job with a bright future will bring them honor and sense of pride.

As for me, if Im left to make the choice, Ill not hesitate to choose a promising job. First of all, I appreciate the honor and challenge it brings to me. At the same time, if I work hard, it will offer me a lot of opportunities including high salary, good position, etc.

In current society,thanks to the deepening reform and opening-up,there is so much unemployment, the competition for jobs is very fierce.In an effort to land a decent job ,a host of school-leavers choose to attend the graduate school‘s test.They want to learn more knowledge before acquiring a fine job.They also can be confident in taking interviews.Consequently,attending the graduate school‘s test is pevalent increasingly in late several years.

Among other folks intend to secure a job after graduating.Although the competition for jobs is very fierce,it is also very difficult to find out a fine job for colleage students.After a couple of years,the number of the graduate students is sharply up-swing.It is same to face job problems for graduate students.Secuing a job after graduating can accumulate experience in order to get on well in the future.

In my eyes,the Middle kingdom enjoys a booming economy, a rising number of companys from overseas come to built themselves factories.We are facing opportunities and challenges.We might well choose to land a job after graduating.Plus,we are still young,we can choose to attend the graduate school‘s test after accumulating working experience.It will be wise for us to do that.

Like any other English learner, I met a lot of difficulties in learning

English.

First, I found it difficult to understand what I read because most English

words have more than one meaning. Besides, I found it difficult to write in

idiomatic English or put Chinese into idiomatic English. Finally, I couldnt

express in English orally because I had no opportunity to communicate with

native English speakers. Although I often read aloud, this didnt prove to be an

effective way to improve my spoken English.

But I didnt lose heart in removing these obstacles. I tackled English

vocabulary in two ways. First,I tried to understand and memorize the specific

meaning of a word that appears in the context. Second, I enlarge my vocabulary

by learning the dictionary by heart. To overcome Chinese English, I tried to

think in English directly. Although I still had no opportunity to communicate

with native speakers, I improved spoken English by listening to the English

broadcast and writing English composition. This expedient turned out to be

effhctive.

儿子今年刚上初中，在学校秋季运动会上参加了800米跑比赛，由于选手人多拥挤，争抢跑道时，他不慎摔倒，左腿膝盖撞伤，皮破血流，右手撑地，肘部扭伤。平日颇为娇气的儿子竟然迅速爬了起来，忍着剧烈的疼痛继续比赛，从最后一名的位置一路追赶，完成比赛时，出人意料地在16名选手中排名第四。当他一瘸一拐地走出赛场，很多师生都被感动了。那天中午回到家，他受伤的几个部位大面积地红肿，多处沾着血迹，鞋子上也是斑斑点点的红色。儿子其实伤得很重，他却满不在乎似的，没有抱怨什么，不过有点遗憾，说如果不摔跤，可以得第一名。虽然儿子的意外受伤让我心疼，但他有这样的表现，却也值得我骄傲。在我跟班主任老师通电话时，她也对儿子啧啧赞叹，第二天又在班上对他大肆表扬，并按冠军的规格给予五个免罚的特殊奖励。也许是头一回这么扬眉吐气吧，那几天儿子精神状态特别好，打着绑带坚持上学，尽管右手写字不便，仍然独立完成作业。后来，儿子以此为素材写了一篇纪实作文《面对困难，我选择坚强》。我惊讶地发现，突然之间儿子懂事了许多，感到十分的欣尉。

一段时间以来，儿子让我非常操心。小学毕业后，为了让他上某名校重点班，费尽周折，整个暑假几乎没有一天心情是轻松的。等尘埃落定，如愿以偿了，新的问题又暴露出来，由于儿子小学基础不是很扎实，整体实力在全班比较靠后，学习上压力非常大。初中与小学相比，教材难度加大不说，老师教学进度又快，布置作业太多，儿子晚上经常做到11、12点钟，有时甚至凌晨1、2点。而学校规定每天早上7：20前必须赶到学校，所以儿子6点多钟就要起床;下午5：30放学，因为老师习惯性地拖课或总有事要说，一般要到6、7点钟才放学回家。经常地，天已漆黑一片了，还不见儿子回来，我总是提心吊胆，这还没什么，只是儿子正在长身体的时候，每天早出晚归，晚上睡眠时间又不充足，恐怕他吃不消，真的让人着急。该校素以管理严格闻名，尤其各重点班之间竞争激烈，老师对学生管教多采取高压政策，稍不听话或没完成作业，就要进行诸如抄中学生行为准则或某篇课文多少遍、写检讨多少字等严厉处罚，儿子免不了受罚，更加重了学习负担。看着他整天疲于应付，我和爱人担心儿子适应不过来，尽量多安慰和鼓励他，生怕他泄气。我们俩围着儿子转，家里平常不开电脑，不看电视，把心思都放在他的学习上，也是晚睡早起，监督和辅导他，搞好后勤服务。可是除此之外，我们也想不到好的办法来更多地帮助他，当然心里也明白，要渡过难关，主要还是靠他自己。好在儿子有毅力，硬是一步步挺过来了，始终保持了较充沛的精力，学习上没有掉队。我们还欣喜地看到，儿子的很多不足之处在逐渐转好，学习的主动性和自觉性增强了。期中考试，他的成绩比我们想像的要好，处在全班中上、全年级前列的水平。我们对他更有信心了，相信经历了磨练，他会早点成熟，今后一定能取得更大的进步。
