第二天早上天还没亮透，我们就出发了。一路上爸爸给我讲了苏州的概况。

苏州位于江苏省东南部的长江三角洲平原，东靠上海，南界浙江，西濒太湖，北临长江。它的历史可上溯到6000至7000年前。说起苏州城市的特色，基本可以，概况括为“三位一体”，即：古城、水乡、园林城市，因而自古以来就有“东方威尼斯，秀甲江南园”的美誉。它的主要景点有宋代的沧浪亭，网师园，元代的狮子林，明代的拙政园、留园，清代的怡园、耦园、鹤园、环秀山庄、虎丘，寒山寺、天平山、灵岩山等……

正说着，苏州已经到了，我们的第一站是虎丘。“七里山堂到虎丘”。经过热闹的山塘街我们来到虎丘的山门海涌桥。俗话说：“山不在高，有仙则名”，景区方圆230来亩，最高处海拔仅34米。然而，在这里大大小小分布着50多个景观呢!

进入山门，正前方的那座虎丘塔已经进入我们的眼帘，那就是虎尾了。刚才走过的山门就是虎头，门口的两口古井是虎的双眼，左右对称的八字护墙是双耳，临山塘河的石阶是牙齿，隔岸的照壁是嘴唇，再往前面的断梁殿是咽喉，整座山就像虎身……

踏上山道，进入景区我们游览了一个个引人入胜的景点。这条长约数十米的山道，点缀着憨憨泉、试剑石、枕头思、仙桃石以及真娘墓等名胜古迹，着你让人目不暇接，美不胜收。

穿过一个圆洞门，我们来到了虎丘最美丽的地方剑池。这里四周石壁合抱，有一种形式奇险，气象萧森的感觉。狭长形的水池，南稍宽而北微窄，状如宝剑，池水清澈甘冽，唐朝时曾被品为“天下第五泉”。峭壁前，有摩崖石刻“风壑云泉”4字，右壁上有“剑池”两个篆体大字，相传是书圣王羲之的笔迹。

过双桥往西，再经雪浪亭北上，来到虎丘塔前。只见虎丘雄踞塔园中央，塔身显得有点苍老班驳，但依然矫健挺拔，姿色迷人。众所周知，意大利有座举世闻名的比萨斜塔，虎丘塔要比比萨斜塔早建400多年，所以虎丘塔有被称为“东方斜塔”。

不知不觉一天已经过去了，我们也该回家了。在车上我想虎丘不但有山的风骨，也有水的柔姿。最后，我想借用古人的两句诗来评价我们今天的虎丘之行：平生游览遍天下，游之不厌惟虎丘。

今天我们一起去了石岛赤山，我兴奋不已。我们一大早就从宾馆吃完早饭出发了，我们走到一个大牌子就往西走了。

我们到了停车场买了票就进去了。我们先到了法华寺，那时那里正在举行水陆大典，虽说是大典，但一点都没意思所以我们就没参加。

之后我们开着车就到了大观音那里，我看简介说大观音高25、8米，重200多吨，是用锡青铜铸造而成的。我们在这停了下来，因为我们知道这个观音会转，观音瓶里会流水，下面的四大金刚会在不同时间喷火，观音下面的门里会出来几个童男童女来接水，我们在这等了24分钟才开始表演，先是中央台的播音员说了一段关于送子观音的故事，然后观音开始转动，门里出来童男童女，瓶里开始流水，喷泉的水流开始变化，忽然一个金刚喷了一下火，依次每个金刚都喷了火，然后四边的水柱喷得很高，之后童男童女退了回去，观音瓶不流水了，金刚不喷火了，所有的都回到了原来的样子，就像什么都没有发生似的。

我们又开着车终于到了终点，那就是石岛赤山的大佛。我们先走上楼梯，走楼梯也是很讲究的，要先迈左脚，要一步一步地走，上要走左面，下要走右面。我们看完了这个庞然大物就去吃饭了。

假如我不是亲眼看到我是我法体会到这种震撼的。

中考的成绩，我并不十分理想，说个不怕见笑的话，在东汽一中的录取名单里，如果是按分数排名的话，我只能算最后的10来名，差一点也许我就不在重点线，按理说，父母亲在这个非常时期，在向高等学府冲刺的紧要关头，应该说是利用假期给我补补课。尤其是我的几个好友，他们正在抓紧补习，可是，有谁能理解一个中学生此时此刻的心呢，刚刚从紧张的课堂上走了出来的人，也实在该有点喘息的机会，我也知道我的朋友在补习，有谁能知他们的心情吗，一个好友对我说，他们也是被父母逼的，这个时候那有什么效率，所以他们是人在朝中心在汉，因为实在是太疲倦了，于是我对我的父母说，这个假期，时间属于我的，你们不要干涉好吗?

休整几天过后，我们有7位同学，自行组织，一同骑着自行车，从十堰出发向丹江迈发。我们途经武当山，一路上我们既观看了山河美景，也了解一些风土人情，也学会处理一些生活中的问题，这些都是在课堂上无法见到的东西。如何说，我以后的作文素材真实，写的东西也多了，应该说那是与这次的旅行是分不开的。

从丹江归来，我方兴未艾，在得到大人允许的情况下，从未出过远门的我，平生第一次独自外出，来到我的老家—河南，在那里，我尽情的享受了田园风光，摘野果了，抓青蜓，从那里我知道了我所吃的饭菜是怎么生长出来的。我更知道粮食的来自不易。

就在我即将步入高中的时刻，首先，就我们在学习中的薄弱环节，专程拜访任课老师，让他们直言不讳的指出我的问题的病根，我们都一一把它记在纸上。然后我又特意了解在读的高中生，通过他们，我知道我该注意些什么，在此基础上，我好好的梳理了我自己，重新安排了我在高中的学习计划。

可以说，在这个假期里，我既找到了快乐，也的确学到了很多东西，我既学到了做人的道理，也找到了真实生动的写作素材，既学会了自理，也练就了我自强的个性，正是有了这一段不可莫灭的旅程。着正是我的时间我做主带来的结果。如果是大人的强硬逼迫我补习，也许没有这种收获。

我自小喜欢看书，尤其是《格林童话》。书上的内容丰富而有趣，让我们知道一个个道理，深深的吸引了我。我不禁想到书的作者是那样伟大，他那动听的语句，奇妙的词语，让千万个读者感到快乐。这正是我所希望的，长大后我也要当作家。

在读过许多书之后，我就非常崇拜一些大作家，如：老舍、巴金、鲁迅、叶圣陶……他们笔下的辉煌不知道有多少个哩!《养花》、《鸟的天堂》、《故乡》……都是他们的经典作品。我经常想：这些大作家怎么会有这么强的魔力，把笔变成花(妙笔生花)，而我又不行呢?哦，我知道了。应为我还没长大，知识不够多，等我学到更多知识，我就能拥有魔力，妙笔生花了。就这样，以前天真的想法，一直定格在我心中。

有这样的理想，要看看有没有这样的本事。我的作文水平如同芝麻开花——节节高。但还不行，还要再努力些。要想写好作文，首先要审题、构思，打草稿。然后进入正文，文中不要些废话，要有详有略，可用修辞方法，过渡句段、首尾呼应，使文章流畅。最后检查，该改就改，不要画蛇添足。

我总是不知道自己的真实水平，自己的作文写得时好时坏，没有把握。有时候写得好，被老师当众朗读;有时候又是那么的无用，被老师批评。我完全是跟着灵感来写的，如果没有灵感，我会写不出，我又不懂虚构，即使编了，也不太成功，不符合实际。所以我反对老师的说法：作文可以虚构。(除了童话之类的)

我知道，我在作文方面还有很多不足。所以我会加倍努力，为自己的理想而奋斗。我相信有一天，我会拥有“魔法”，把笔变成花，笔下会创造出一个又一个辉煌，我的作品会让世人瞩目。我心中的幼苗总有一天也会长成参天大树。

Sunrise at Sea

I would often get up early to watch the sunrise when it was not yet quiet light and all was quiet except for the droning of the ship engine.

The sky was pale with a bluish blue. Soon a streak of pink dawn broke over the horizon，expanding gradually and becoming brighter and brighter. Knowing that the sun was about to rise, I had my eyes fixed on the distant edge of the sea.

As expected, the sun soon appeared revealing half of its face, which was very red but not bright It kept rising laboriously bit by bit as if weighted down with a heavy burden on its back until，after breaking through the rosy clouds;it completely emerged from the sea aglow with a lovely red. 到了补课其间，我们每个人都准备了新的笔记本，将老师讲的每一个要点都记了下来。因为在这里补课的同学还有其他班上的同学，所以学习热情很高涨，我也不好意思玩了。别的同学做什么，我就做什么，反正自己也没有好的学英语方法，所以现在就是我最好的学习机会。

差不多一个月的时间，我的英语水平提高了许多，最后的测试分数不再是倒数第一，我终于进步了。当我拿着成绩让爸爸妈妈看进，他们一直夸我有进步，并要继续努力。当时，我的心里乐滋滋的，非常感谢假期补英语的生活。
