My grandparents don’t go to work any more. They have retired. They stay at home everyday. In the morning they go to the park and do morning exercises. In the afternoon, they drink tea with their friends. In the evening, they enjoy themselves watching TV and reading newspapers.

We have a happy family. I can’t say how much I love it!

My family has five people, are grandparents, father and mother. Grandparents have retired, my father was a peoples police, her mother is a pediatric nurse. Mom and Dad usually busy at work, little time with me, even though there is little time for parents to accompany me, but I can understand their work, after all, there are grandparents to accompany me, compared to those orphans, Ive been very lucky! I love my family!

终于等到了星期五，我们一家早早的来到了爷爷家，开始了一星期一次的家庭聚会，向我们这个大家庭里的首脑人物——爷爷，汇报这一个星期的学习和生活情况。(当然更主要的是见我的弟弟)

一进家门，我的弟弟就和我来了个“美国式”的拥抱，向大人们问过好后，我们就迫不及待的拿出自己的秘密武器——陀螺开始对战。没过多久便开饭了，今天的菜可真丰盛啊!有绿油油的青菜、红黄相间的西红柿炒鸡蛋、排骨汤、诱人的虾子、还有我最爱吃的糖醋排骨，看得我直流口水，这时妈妈叫我帮忙盛饭，当我拿碗回来时看见弟弟的小嘴鼓鼓的，“哇，你偷吃，太不够意思了。还兄弟哪?”我大声叫道，“嘘，小声点，我只是尝尝味道，要不你也试试?”我经不住诱惑，连忙也煎了一个排骨放到嘴里，啊!那酸酸甜甜的味道从我的喉咙直到小肚子，太美味了!弟弟看着我陶醉的样子问我：“怎么样?”我都没空搭理他，直接又夹了一块放进嘴里，他也不甘落后，加入到“消灭排骨”的队伍中来。

等到大家全部到齐开饭时，一盘排骨只剩下一点点了，奶奶开玩笑的说：“哎呀，我们家的两只小狗把骨头都要啃完了!”我们听了之后哈哈大笑。

一次愉快的聚会就这么结束了，我们依依不舍的离开了爷爷家，我们俩和奶奶约好，下次再多烧点排骨，我们要一次吃个够，因为奶奶的手艺太棒了!

这次的家庭聚会我太开心了!

Chinese students celebrate their birthdays in different ways. But the most common way is to have fun by drinking, singing and dancing. On the birthday, one usually receives nice gifts and good wishes from friends and parents. Sometimes, parents will prepare a special dinner or a cake to show their love for their children. Since birthday celebration is one of the important activities in ones life. It can be done in more meaningful ways. For example, we can buy some flowers or cook a delicious meal for our mothers on that day. In this way, we express thanks to our parents in return for their love.

Everyone has a family. I have a family. too. I name it "Happy family"， because everyone in my family is happy.

Come and meet my family， please! My mother is king. I love her， and she love me， too. My mother is pretty. She likes beautiful clothes. I call her "Dressy". My father is a boss. He is tall and thin. He has a small head. I give him a nickname "Small Head Father". I am fat and lovely. I have a big head. I give myself a nickname "Big Head Girl". I study hard. I am a good student.

除夕夜的晚饭是由我的大姨、二姨和妈妈，各自带领自已的家庭，每个成员做一道菜，共同组成这除夕的晚宴。有香甜可口的可乐鸡翅;有美味十足的猪手;有色香味俱全的红焖大闸蟹;还有香美多汁的松鼠鲑鱼。看着这些美味佳肴，我忍不住想快些把它们都送到我的肚子里，真想有一个巨大无比的胃啊!

吃完美味无比的年夜饭后，大家马上开始进入包饺子的环节。姥爷早就把面和好了，姥姥也准备好了饺子馅，大家一涌而上，有的揉面，有的赶皮，有的包饺子，有的摆盘。我玩得最欢，一会赶皮，一会包饺子，过一会，我又拿着一团面，揉来揉去，捏成了一个小面人。但我什么都做不好，赶的面皮不是厚就是薄，包的饺子象包子，还把面粉弄得满身都是。

除夕夜看春晚是一件不可缺少的事，我们家也不例外。八点一到，每个人都不约而同地放下手中的事，坐到电视机前准备欣赏春晚。我最喜欢的春晚节目是魔术，但我妈妈最喜欢歌手们唱的歌，爸爸最喜欢小品，姥爷最喜欢看杂技，姥姥和妈妈一样也喜欢听歌，但他们各自喜欢的歌手不一样。每个人都能在这晚会中找到自已喜欢的节目，所以大家都爱看春晚!

十二点钟声响起，我们在新年的钟声里祈求蛇年每个人都健康、平安、幸福、快乐!然后我和爸爸下楼点燃了一串鞭炮，希望能把传说中的“年”、“夕”都吓跑!然后我们又吃了年夜饺子，大家都很快乐。(这真是一次难忘的家庭聚会)

这次大型家庭聚会使我感到很难忘，因为所有亲戚都汇聚一堂，一起看春晚，一起吃年夜饭，一起放鞭炮，一起吃饺子……因此使我感到特别难忘。
