As a student ，I don’t have any great event to talk about ，but here I want to share my experience of preparing for the high school entrance examination.

During the first three years of junior school ，we were very happy and free .But we often heard that Grade 4 would be a hell. After the final exam of Grade 3 in June， everything blew onto our faces : teachers’ changing ， harder and harder texts ， terrible pressure and of course the graduate exam .Where your position was on the listboard became the most important thing in our life .We had to study hard day and night ，always from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 or 2:00 a.m. the next day.

But I must say that it’s really an unforgettable memory in my life. Under the pressure we lived our life to the fullest， and enjoyed the true interesting things that we may have never cared before. Grade 4 in junior school was a turning point in my life. My attitude to learning， my world outlook and my philosophy of life all changed. I turned to be positive and strong. I also gained many people’s true & pure friendship， both teachers ’ and classmates’. In some way， I like that kind of life， as it taught me many things I’d never learned before.

Teachers also helped me a lot. I still can’t forget that my history teacher talked to me until 10:00 p.m. on April 30th， 2003， for my application. My head teacher also encouraged me， so did my Chinese teacher. I should say， all my teachers worked very hard and always neglected their sleep and meals. Even if some of them were about 50 and often fell ill， they never left us one day .

As a sophomore, I am feeling the time flies. Recalling about the past one year, so many thoughts are flooding in my mind. At this time, I just can’t tell my real idea. The memory is just like so fresh, and all the things happened yesterday!

When first day I came to University, I really feel that the school is very good, but at the first sight of the dormitory, something disappointing come up to me! The condition of the dormitory is really very poor with only one room, no lavatory! I saw something sad in my father’s eyes, maybe that time he thought of the poor condition! So with a big smile on my face, I told my father” it doesn’t matter, Dad. In this kind of condition, I will get myself better!” My father felt better. But when he was coming back, seeing his back, I just wanted to cry! I felt in this city I was just isolated, from that time, I said to myself, “ you have no others who can help you here, just depend on yourself”

And then I came to my dormitory 303. I considered that I would spend four years here (in fact I moved to another one year later) and my dorm mates are all there. Most of them came from Sichuan and they were chatting with a happy voice, but I can’t understand them! Again, I felt myself isolated! I hated that kind of feeling, and then I said to hello to them! To my surprise they are very friendly to me and warm-hearted! I no longer felt afraid. And I got along well with them. But at the first night here, I burst out to tears for that I was missing my family. I don’t know why. Everyday when I was at home, I was just eager to go to school, to experience the wonderful college life but when coming here, I am just eager to go back! It’s quite strange though, you must know this kind of feeling!

Just spending about 2 days here, we were on our way to military train. To us, it’s a fresh train and a kind of experience to know the life between the classmates. But to me, I was nervous but excited. This was my first and precious train life because before going to school I have been staying with my family. So, you know, it’s just this kind of feeling I can’t convey it clearly! The train life is impressive on everybody; we had a lot of activities, for example giving a speech on a stage or singing together or playing basketball. At that time, I felt myself so little among them. All of them have a special talent but not me. I admired them but meanwhile jealousy. Why don’t I have this kind of talent? Am I stupid? I always said to myself. So that time I was also very ambitious, just eager to catch up with them. Except the classmates, the trainer in our team also left a deep impression on me! He was not very handsome and very kind. Just because of his kindness results in my laughter when training. He always said to me that I should be serious in the team but I didn’t listen to him. So after a long time, when investigating the training result, I gave them a disappointing answer. The highest trainer sent me to clean the toilet, although, it didn’t means insulting to my dignity, but I was really sad about myself and my heart was hurt. That was a small thing but told me that I need to be serious to one thing. And unhappiness passed, the happy and funny time recalled me that folding the blanket. Yeah, it’s really very funny. Most of us had never folded the blanket and naturally we can’t accomplish the task well. When the monitor came, we pleased him to help us to fold the blanket. To our expect, we managed to persuade the monitor. After the monitor finished the task for me. I dared not to touch the blanket again and just used the clothes instead of the blanket. Of course, I felt very cold in deep night, so to my instinct, I crashed into my classmate’s blanket. And we were scratching the single blanket fiercely, just like a war. (Writing here I can’t help laughing out loudly).

只要一听到“卢沟桥的狮子——数不清”这句老北京俗语，我就会立马想到那座历经百年沧桑的卢沟桥。

那是一个三九严寒的日子，我们一家三口来到了卢沟桥。走上这座古老的石桥，我就惊奇地发现用天然岩石雕刻出的一个个形象逼真的狮子坐在两边的桥栏杆上，这些石狮子光溜溜的，像一块经打磨过的瓷板。我出于好奇，开始从桥头的第一只石狮子数起，一、二、三、四……这些狮子可真不好数，如果你不细心观察每一只小狮子，那你就很有可能遗漏掉许多小狮子。这些小狮子可以说是“无处不在”它们可能藏在母狮子的怀里，也可能藏在母狮子的爪中，你要找到它们可不容易，你稍不留神就会漏掉、输错。我只好瞪大眼睛，紧盯每一只小狮子，就这样一直数下去。我刚数完一侧桥栏杆上的小狮子就已经累的精疲力竭了。终于数完了！一共472只，我坐在桥边的青石板上，喘着粗气心里想：我数的怎么和电视上报道的不一样？哎，卢沟桥上的狮子真是数不清！

这些数不清的狮子形态各异，造型奇特，没有一个是重样的。那些狮子形象逼真，造型各异，活灵活现。这些狮子，这座古桥，制作工艺精湛，是我国所有劳动人民智慧的结晶。

在桥头的两侧，各有两个华表，上面蹲坐着两只狮子，好象在日夜守护着卢沟桥……

这天，我乘坐飞机来到北京。北京的夜景美不胜收，五彩缤纷的灯火把北京装点得更加美丽。

来到北京的第二天，我们先去了天安门。来到天安门，毛主席的画像映入眼帘。进入天安门，听着导游讲，我知道这大大小小的房子叫四合院。沿着参观的路线走，我们来到了太和殿，真是壮观啊。继续往前走，我们来到了后花园，里面种了很多古树，有的树龄都有好几百年了。故宫游玩就到这里告一段落了。

第二天的旅程开始了，听说要去北京科技馆，这让我兴奋不已。来到科技馆，里面有个汽车启动装置让我大开眼界。到了二楼，眼前的景象让我大吃一惊，里面全是科学游戏，其中一个最引人注目——镜子迷宫。我走进去，里面到处都是“我”，我好不容易才走出去。科技馆参观完，我们就去了鸟巢，鸟巢是2008年北京奥运会的举行场所。

第三天，我们先去了颐和园。一圈游玩下来，给我留下了深刻印象。到了出口处，我真想再走一次。之后，我们来到了圆明园，圆明园相信大家都知道吧，这是到北京必游的景点之一。

带着不舍，带着知识，我们离开了北京，真希望下次还能再来。

I went Chong Qing in July 22.It is a city which was built near mountains. So people call it Mountain City. In Chong Qing,I went to the Red Stone Center, to see the places which the prisoners lived in the past. It is a terrible and awful trip. There are a lot of dogs, and soldiers with guns near the prisons. And most of the prisons are good, they didnt want to tell the bad people where the other people were. They lived in very small houses. No good food to eat, no good water to drink.They had only twenty minutes to stay out side per day but they still said nothing. I think they are the heros in that century. I will follow their spirit.

How time flies! One month has passed before I could take any notice of it. This is the start of my freshman year in Fudan University. At the very beginning, everything and everyone is strange to me. But now, everyday and in everyway, I am getting better;I am getting used to it.

I would like to tell you two things in my university life that are of great importance and interest.

Freedom is what I am looking forward to since the very first day of my primary school. A lot of people said to me, "Study hard, and you will get freedom when in university." But when I really entered university, I find the real situation is different.Freedom costs me a lot. If I refuse to wash my clothes, for example, they will just lay there, unclean. In a word, I have to do everything and take care of myself. Well, it doesn‘t mean that I don‘t like the life style. On the contrary, I like it very much though it is hard at the beginning. It is really a challenge for me.

I appreciate a famous saying from Albert Camus, "Freedom is nothing but a chance to be better." That‘s right. Real freedom comes with responsibility. Some teenagers believe that freedom means doing whatever you like. But I think that is not real freedom at all. One can have his or her own freedom, while at the same time respect others‘. It is not easy to think on behalf of others. University life provides me with this precious chance to practice it.

我从来都没有去过村庄,今天三姨要带我去朋友家玩,他家就住在村庄里。

一路上我看到一大片一大片的田地、池塘、牛、鸭子,到了他家,三姨奇怪地问：“沙发上躺的是什么呀?”我走近一看原来是一只可爱的小猫咪！我伸手去抱它,它抓了我一下还躲到了柜子里,好像有些胆小的样子。在家门口我还看到了一条大黑狗,它很温顺，我摸它，它也不咬我，真好玩！

要吃饭了，妈妈要我洗手,我发现那里的水是压出来的,妈妈说那是井水,摸上去温温的。吃饭了,小猫钻在桌子底下，它看我们吃那么香，他都在舔嘴巴了,我赶快扔了一小块骨头给它吃。吃完饭我们登上阳台摘鸡蛋果,三姨拨给我吃,甜甜的,我还看了他们家养的鹅,它们叫得声音好大,好像在说：“你们不要吃我们。”我觉得农村很好玩，我更舍不得离开那只可爱的小猫咪。

在我的成长过程中，有许许多多令人难忘的事，这些事像一颗颗划破夜空的流星。这些事中，有一件给我留下了非常深刻的印象。

As I grew up, there were so many unforgettable things, such as shooting stars across the night sky. One of these things left a deep impression on me.

哇，飞机可真大啊！一架架“铁鸟”出现在我的眼前，超级巨无霸，比在天上飞的时候要大无数倍。我忐忑地坐上飞机，闭上了眼睛，感觉飞机在缓缓得滑行，我睁开眼睛，飞机猛得一下起飞，越飞越高，我在窗边往下看，地上的公路变的象笔杆一样细，楼房就象垒起来的磁带盒一样大，汽车就象大蚂蚁一样大……飞机在云朵间穿行，那感觉像在仙境里腾云驾雾一般。飞了4个小时，终于到达越南芽庄了！

第二天，我们在导游得带领下，来到了天堂湾！这里可真是个迷人的世界！天是一片蓝玉，海是一块翡翠。远望水天相连，翡翠和蓝玉合璧，蔚为壮观！我在沙滩上捡贝壳，金色的沙滩上留下了一长串脚印，我用脚印向大家宣告：朱嘉濠到此一游！天堂湾，连浪涛都是美的，一朵朵洁白的浪花，似乎在争抢着向我献花，一朵接着一朵，前赴后继，正当我要去追赶的时候，却又害羞地托回到大海妈妈的怀抱！

第三天，我在妈妈的鼓励下，坐了“飞天伞”和摩托快艇，真的好刺激！我和妈妈拴在一起，在摩托快艇的快速带动下，我们身后的飞天伞一下子飘上了蓝天，我不敢往下看，真怕掉到海里去。但是随着大伞在蓝天中飘舞，我慢慢地睁开了眼睛，哇！此刻的我真的是“万人之上”啊！我的头上是蓝天，我的脚下的海水，海天之间只有我和妈妈，这感觉真像帝王，天下第一！我们缓缓下降，听到“扑通”一声，我们掉入海里，骑着快艇的叔叔就飞驰过来，把我和妈妈拉上了摩托车，驰骋在大海上……

越南芽庄不光海美，天美，美食更赞不绝口！Q弹的椰子冻，甜滋滋的椰子汁，各式各样的热带水果，美味可口的瓦片烤肉，鲜美的海鲜……各个都是我的最爱！

我们就在那呆了一周，但是这一周里我不仅看到了美景，尝到了美食，还了解到了越南人的传统文化和生活习俗，我觉得这次旅游给我增长了很多见识，我很喜欢这次特别的旅行！

Some think we should try to help strangers. Helping others is a virtue，and

helping others is helping ourselves.We may come across some trouble and need

others help some day.If everyone isnt willing to help us just because we are

strangers to them，its hard to imagine what our world will be like.However，some

are afraid that helping others can sometimes bring us trouble.Sometimes we are

just misunderstood and even have to pay the cost of kindness.In my opinion，we

should try our best to help others when they are in need of help，but we should

also protect ourselves from getting into trouble.If everyone tries a little

kindness，our world will be full of love.

When I was a primary school student, my family and I took a trip to five cities which were in the south of China.

First, we came to Nanjing by plane. That was the first time I had taken the plane and it took us an hour and a half to get there. We arrived in Nanjing in the morning. At 11:30 we went to a restaurant to have lunch. The food tasted delicious. In the afternoon we went to “Zhongshanling”. It was the place that preserve the tomb of Mr. Sugshan.

The next day, we came to Wuxi and then Suzhou where we visited the region of rivers and lakes of “周庄”. It was a beautiful and old place. The house there were along the river and the women always washed clothes at the bank.The fourth day, we came to Hangzhou where We visited “The West Lake. It was very beautiful and the water was clear . As we all know, Hangzhou is famous for silk and tea, so we bought some beautiful silk and famous tea of “龙井”.The last place that we visited was Shanghai. It was one of the biggest city is China. The night view in Shanghai was more beautiful than Beijing. We visited the TV tower of “东方明珠”. It was the third tallest tower in the world. Standing in the tower you could see the whole city. In the evening, we lived in a hotel with 25 floors. I was very excited that evening.

This trip took us seven days and we went back to Beijing by plane. The plane was very very big. There were three engine rooms. I felt happy and I would never forget the trip.

At the end of the summer vacation, I cant help feeling excited and curious. How many times I have dreamed that my university life will be meaningful and beautiful.

At the beginning of university life, I think study and exercise are the most important thing. So I must improve my spoken English and written ability. Besides, I will make more friends and participate in other activities. Fortunately, I took part in two departments successfully. What a happy new for me! In my opinion, importantly, these departments can promote my comprehension and communication ability. At the same time, I will get many chances to exercise in new school life. It will make my life become more and more colorful.

After I entered the new university for two months, I adapt the new environment and meet many classmates and teachers. I feel happy when I made friends with them who can bring me more happiness and challenging.

There are many different aspects between high school and university. Firstly, I think independence is an ability for oneself in the university, but it is not in the high school. You must do everything by yourself. Secondly,we will have a lot of spare time,and we can do many things in this time. For example,we can read in our school library,we can play basketball or football in the stadium, we can have a rest in your dormitory and so on. Thirdly, you will have many activities and you can participate in it. At the same time,you have many chances to exercise your ability,study how can we do it better and promote our team spirit. Compared with high school life, I think my university life will be better and more interesting than high school.

For most university students, dormitory life is a new experience. Most students have never lived far away from their parents before coming to university. They have always had their parents to depend on for advice and guidance, and when they become university students, their lives begin to change.

There are striking difference between home life and dormitory life. Student must begin to be responsible for their own action. They must depend on themselves to get up in the morning on, time for class, to eat properly, to keep their clothes and themselves clean ,and to set aside an appropriate amount of time for study and relaxation. They must also learn to take care of their money, making sure to preserve enough for both necessities and for fun.

In general, there are both good and bad points about life in student dormitory. Often, dormitory?rooms are small and crowded. This lack of space can limit ones privacy and make it?difficult for students to concentrate on their studies. On the other hand, in a dormitory, student have a great deal more freedom than?they might have at home. They can act according to their own will and desire than to that of parents.

If I were to leave my home for a year, there is one thing I definitely

would take with me: my cell phone. With my cell phone, I could call my friends

or family if I ever was lonely, needed advice, or just wanted to talk.

Perhaps the most vital person I have ever met is an Italian professor of philosophy who teaches at the University of Pisa.Although I last met this man eight years ago， I have not forgotten his special qualities.

First of all，I was impressed by his devotion to teaching. Because his lectures were always well-prepared and clearly delivered， students swarmed into his classroom. His followers appreciated the fact that he believed in what he taught and that he was intellectually stimulating.Furthermore， he could be counted on to explain his ideas in an imaginative way，introducing such aids to understanding as paintings， recordings，pieces of sculpture， and guest lecturers.

Once he even sang a song in class to illustrate a point. Second， I admired the fact that he would confer with students outside of the classroom or talk with them on the telephone. Drinking coffee in the snack bar， he would easily make friends with students. Sometimes he would challenge a student to a game of chess. At other times， he would join groups to discuss subjects ranging from astronomy to scuba diving. Many young people visited him in his office for academic advice； others came to his home for social evenings.

Finally，I was attracted by his lively wit. He believed that no class hour is a success unless the students and the professor share several chuckles and at least one loud laugh.Through his sense of humor， he made learning more enjoyable and more lasting.If it is true that life makes a wise man smile and a foolish man cry，then my friend is truly a wise man. Probably the best example of his wit is this bit of wisdom with which he once ended a lecture：“It is as dangerous for man to model himself upon his invention， the machine，as it would be for God to model Himself upon His invention.”

国庆期间，我们一家三口一起出去旅游。我们一起游玩了山东地下大峡谷，蝴蝶谷和萤火虫水洞。

我先游玩了大峡谷，大峡谷下面是由五颜六色的灯光装饰的溶洞，还有千姿百态的石笋。人们根据他们的形状起了名字，它们是鹅管，观音寺，母子象，小寿星，海豹戏珠，泰坦尼克号等等。

第二个游玩的地方是蝴蝶谷。那里的蝴蝶特别美丽，帝王蝶最美丽也是蝴蝶中最大的。蝴蝶，全国大约有1400余种。在蝴蝶谷，我看见了许多种蝴蝶，还和蝴蝶合影，我太高兴了。

第三个我游玩的是萤火虫水洞，在那里我第一次看到了真正的萤火虫。萤火虫犹如一枚钻石，特别亮，也像一颗颗的小星星。我查百科发现，萤火虫可以亮的原因是，他可以飞到高处使劲吸气，他的尾巴就可以发亮。

这三个地方给了我深刻的印象，我也增长了很多知识。

这个暑假，我来到美国加州，参加一所著名艺术高中的夏校，学习音乐剧。说实话，我内心还是挺忐忑的，因为这将是我第一次远离家人独自在国外生活半个月，不过我也明白，这次出游，对我来说会是一次很好的锻炼自己的机会，也必然会给我留下深刻的印象。

经过十二个小时的飞行和三个小时的车程，我来到夏校所处的位置。这所艺术高中位于高山之上，给人一种与世隔绝的感觉。我顺着地图找到我的宿舍——一个小木屋。站在门外，我迟疑着不敢进去，十分担心和外国同学能否顺利交流？如何破冰？会不会有歧视？……在我终于鼓起勇气推开门的一刹那，里面的景象让我大吃一惊。一个小木屋被强行分成六个房间，每个房间又被塞进去有上下铺的六张床，没有空调，窗户也只有一个，行李箱因为无处可放，被堆成了小山。走在行李箱堆成的峡谷里必然会让人有些不安，毕竟那些箱子要是掉下来，可是会要人命的，而且我发誓如果我被埋在行李箱下面，一星期之内都可能不会有人发现我。虽然夏校的硬件不尽如人意，但我的恐惧和担忧竟也莫名其妙地消失了。

一个星期过去了，不得不说，和外国同学的交往相处并没有我想象的那么难。大家都很友好，并且……她们每个人都十分有“个性”。在这里，最刺激的就是半夜了。记得有一天，我蜷缩在我1*1。5米的上铺床上，在40℃的高温和上百只虫子的双重折磨下，艰难地打着小呼噜。突然，两声尖叫在两个房间同时响起，害得我一下子从床上跃起，头和天花板进行了一次亲密接触。我从床上爬下来，捂着碰疼的头，跑到距离我比较近的房间一探究竟。里面的场景也差点吓得我叫出声来：昏暗的房间，满地的红色液体和咒符加上一个黑色的瘦高人影，黑影猛地转过身来，那黑色斗篷里竟是一个惨白瘆人的骷髅！后来，“被害人”Naveah为我们解释了这件事的全过程。那位“骷髅”是Madilda扮的，她每天晚上都会独自一人出去进行一种宗教仪式。Madilda说她可以和死人对话，对此大家半信半疑。但不知怎的，那天半夜，Madilda竟在房间里做起仪式。Naveah半夜醒来的第一眼看到的就是一个骷髅坐在一滩鲜血之中的场景，尖叫也就随之产生。而另一个房间发生的“惨案”就简单一点，就是一位同学兴致大发，跑到别的宿舍吓唬人。为此，我唯一的感想就是：有病，得治！

这次夏校给我留下的印象着实不浅，光是那声尖叫就在我脑海徘徊了一个半月之久。不过这也有可能是我有史以来经历的最有趣、最特别、最刺激的出游，能在有生之年体验一次这样的旅行，也真的是很划算了。

Boys and girls !I want to tell you about our school trip.Were going to go on Saturday .I hope you can all come .As you know ,were going to visit the film museum.There are lots of very intersting things there about the cinema and how films are made .Well have to leave at eight forty-five ,so dont be late .Well get there by bus.Please meet me in the car park.

What next ?Oh yes, the cost .Itll be six dollars seventy each . Now ,Im going to give you some work to do at the museum .You need to write things dowm,so take a pencil and a notebook with you. Well have lunch in the museum restaurant,so you neednt bring any food with you . Well, I think thats everything.
