一个夏天，烈日当空。小路旁边的大树叶子都无精打采地低下了头。那美丽的花儿，经过阳光的暴晒，也热的垂了下来。

大路上行人都躲到了树荫底下，但还是很热。石桌旁坐着一对夫妻俩，虽然用力的扇着扇子，但还是流着汗。

于是我行动起来，来到了观音岩，准备边爬山边调查，想用自己的行动来唤起人们保护环境的意识。果然我路过的地方到处都是垃圾，什么都有：塑料纸袋、电池、果冻壳还有酸奶……数之不尽。让大家来看看它们的危害吧！塑料袋：他会破坏环境，以前就有过白色污染，相信大家都不会忘记吧！电池的危害就更大了，请听我慢慢道来：第1，一颗电池就能让一平方米的土地给绝收；第2，一颗电池可以污染60万公升水，相当于一个人一生的引用水；第3，电池金属对人体与环境造成伤害。损害人的神经系统，造血功能与骨骼，等等。果冻壳的危害也是一样。酸奶就更不用说了，把地上弄的粘乎乎的，给人的感觉就是不文明。

我一边走去一边捡着这些垃圾，不知道走了多少的路，垃圾已经有了三大袋，提起来都重。但我希望大家都能来捡垃圾，共同来保护我们环境，也许是我的行动让有的人觉得他们也应该为这个大家所共同生活的环境做点事情，我只听到他们说：“我们也应该为大自然做一点贡献啊！”这点话真的让我感动啊，没想到就这样的行动竟然让那么多人一起行动来捡垃圾，这就是人间的行为传递吗？我想是吧！

到了山顶就更脏了，就在这时，前面有一位大哥哥，只见他一只手拿香蕉吃，另一只手则将香蕉皮往地上扔，如果这时有人一不小心没看见，踩在上面，那还不摔一个跟头啊，这样的不讲卫生的人怎么行呢？我正想鼓起勇气走上去跟他说，就在这时我看见一个小姐姐，她走上前，对那位大哥哥说，显得理直气壮，你要知道，那位哥哥比他大了好多啊，也不知道他们讲了什么，不一会儿，那位哥哥好像意识到自己错了低着头深思了片刻，然后就主动加入到捡垃圾的行列中。不一会儿我们就捡了4大袋垃圾。地上变得干净了，似乎山变得更绿了、水更清了、天更蓝了、大自然更美了。

We hope that when we go on errand in America next year, we can pay a visit to your family. Then we are sure to have a nice gathering.

This morning, Peter and I went to an art gallery to pick up an oil painting with a beauty spot of China’s southern part as a token of our hearty congratulations. We hope it can add up to your decorations wherever you like, and we also wish you will like it.

人们根本就不把环境保护当作一回事，随便乱倒垃圾，导致河里原来清澈明净的水变得浑浊起来。这个问题到底出现在哪儿呢？这还不是出在我们身上吗？所以，我们要为我们所犯下的错误负责任。让我们行动起来把。改善环境，是我们每个人的责任。

身为少先队员的我们，难道不应该做劳动人民的好榜样吗？我们必须具备这几点：一、不乱扔纸屑；二、不在河里洗澡；三、要劝阻别人不能污染环境。这样，我们也算为保护环境尽了一点点的努力。但我们不能光用嘴来说，要用实际行动来证明。

现在，我们的环境很不好，有很多人乱砍树木，导致水土流失……给环境带来了很大的影响。所以我们要积极行动起来，号召全中国人民“植树造林，造福于民”。让我们的地球充满绿色，让我们的生活变得更加美好。自从县委书记来到这里以后，我们的环境就有了很大的改善，人们把垃圾清除的一点儿也没有了，道路两边被收拾的干干净净的，让人民看起来很舒服，这都是我们辛勤劳动的结果。但还得要感谢县委书记，如果没有他，我们就不可能回这样做；如果没有他，我们的环境就不会有这么大的改善；如果没有他，我们……

从现在起，我们不能污染环境，假如我们的环境能够有很大的改善，那不是件很美妙的事吗？我们不仅要做好这一点，还要节约用水，珍惜每一滴水。很多人回说：“我们以后会严重的缺水”，以后不就不会缺水了吗？要记住：破坏环境和浪费水资源的人是可耻的。

现在，我们的环境改善了。每个人都变得很有秩序，不再乱扔果皮、纸屑，各家各户的门都被染成了绿色。马路上的马自达也没了，灰尘也消失的无影无踪了。我们的校园变得可爱了。同学们学习的精神也好多了，地球妈妈也感到了快乐，现在，我们生活的地球不是变得很和谐吗？所以，我要求同学们往后不要在做伤害地球妈妈的事情了。当然，这不仅是我们小学生要做的事，而是全人民都要怎么做，是我们生活的地球变得更加和谐，美好。

为了我们的美好的明天，加油。

It is undeniable that the worsening environment has become the biggest concern of the present-day world. Land resources are dwindling because of water loss and soil erosion. Waste gases poison the air we breathe. The rivers and lakes are polluted by waste dumped in them from factories. It is probably no exaggeration to say that deterioration of the quality of the environment threatens the existence of mankind itself.

Some people are of the opinion that the environmental problem is the price we have to pay for economic development. But I do not think that this argument is valid. After all, what is the point of economic growth if peoples lives are adversely alfected by worsening environmental pollution ?

不可否认环境恶化已成为当今世界最大的问题。土地资源在不断减少,因为水土流失。废气污染着我们呼吸的空气。河流和湖泊被工厂的 倒出来的废弃物所污染。这可以毫不夸张地说,环境质量的恶化威胁着人类的生存。

有些人认为环境问题是我们因为经济发展而必须要付出的代价。但我不认为这种观点是有效的。毕竟,经济增长的重点是什么?如果人们的生活环境被日益恶化、被严重污染了，那还有什么意义?
