Everyone has some experience that he cant forget. For me, the most memorable experience was part of the English conversation test. This happened about three years ago when I had to take an English exam, including conversation, to get to the United States.

English is my second language, and I dont need to mention the difficulty of reading and writing. I was nervous, of course, when it was my turn to face the examiner, one gentleman and the other young lady. They asked me about sports, sightseeing, Chinese culture, and I went to America. I was just too nervous to make any sensible answer. In fact, I have difficulty opening my mouth. The interview took about a dozen minutes, but it seemed to me for years. Will Christmas Replace the Spring Festival？

Christmas arouses increasing attention year by year in China。 Christmas cards become popular with students。 People hold Christmas parties and exchange Christmas girts。 A lot or TV and radio programs about Christmas are on。 Meanwhile the Spring Festival is less appealing to youngsters。 Thus some people wonder whether Christmas will replace the Spring Festival。

This worry is fairly unnecessary。 Why ？One reason lies that Christmas only affects Christians，college students and joint—ventureworkers。 Another reason is that Christmas is mostly celebrated in cities。 Few people in countryside show extreme interest in this exoticfestival。 By contrast，the Spring Festival is the most influential traditional festival in every family。

I think，it is natural that with increasing exchanges with the West，a lot of Western holidays have been gradually introduced into China。 For us Chinese we should never neglect or even discard our own traditional festivals。 For centuries Chinese have observed this traditional holiday to welcome the beginning of a new year。 And we will treasure the Spring Festival forever。

My plan of next year

A new year ，a new start，when I stand on the edge of a new year，I cant help thinking about my plan of next year。

Just as the old saying：“Well began is the half of the success。”So I decide that I should be at work while the others are still relaxing ，and then ，at the beginning ，Im quicker than the others and of course I will get better result than the others。

But ，what I really decide to do is that I must make good of anytime I can spare though it seems impossible。 While，I will do my best to live up with what I have planned，and the result will prove it。

I used to be fond of skating. But now things have changed because of a horrible experience.

One winter, the weather was so cold that water turned into ice. One day on my way home, when seeing a frozen lake, I thought that the ice must be thick enough to support me. Being so interested in skating, I couldnt help going down and sliding on the ice. Suddenly, I heard a sound of crack. Looking down, I saw the crack on the ice surface. I was frightened out of my life and didnt dare to move. But nobody could help me. I had to move toward the bank carefully.

As soon as I got onto the bank, the ice broke. How horrible it was! Even ifit has been a long time since then, I can still feel the fear. And I no longer like skating since then.

Everyone has some unforgettable experience. I will never forget my fiest volunteer work. Last summer, our class went to a country primary school to help the students there. First, we gave away some books and stationery to them. Then we talked about school life. I was quite shy before, but to my surprise, I talked with some students for almost an hour without intermission. I shared my effetive study methods with them excitedly. When I was a little child, I was so naughty that I always did something angry my parents. They always blamed to me, but I never listened to them. I thought they were too strict with me. But I changed in someday. My parents always told me to be careful when I went out. However, all I thought was they worried too much. On my way to take the bus home, there was a traffic light. That day, when I got to the cross road, the light was red, but there was no car crossed the road anymore. So I went across the road without the light turning to green. At this moment, a car rushed quickly towards me. I was suddenly scared, so that I couldn’t move but stood still. Luckily, the driver broke the car quickly and I did not get hurt. But I did scared. After that, I was much more careful and I listened to my parents.

Today, I got up very early, I had a very good breakfast, then I went out to play with my friend, We had a very good time. In the afternoon, I went swimming with my father, it was very hot, but we felt very good in the water. Beijing, the second largest city,is where i want to visit most. there are several reasons why i would like to visit Beijing. first, beijing is the capital of china, and has a history more than 5000 years. it has been the capital for many dynasties. second, there are many historical buildings, such as The great wall and Summer Palace. therea are also some new stadiums, lnclude The Bird Nest and The Wate Cube. they were built for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. I really want to go there and visit all intereing places.

When it comes to the most unforgetable trip,different people may have different opinions.As far as i am concerned,the trip i went to Beijing with my sister is the most unforgetable experience.After we got off from Guangzhou,we took plane and then we arrived at midnight.Both of us were curious about this city and we began to hang around.However,when we arrived at the hotel that we booked,my sister cryed and said she lost her wallet.Therefore we spent several hours in the rodes we passed by and tried our best to find as carefully as we can.Fortunately,after the hard work,we did find the wallet in a conor.How lucky we were!

this summer holiday, i went to dalian with my family. we got there by air. dalian is a very beautiful and modern city. on the bus, we could see all kinds of buildings which were great.

in the morning, we got to the hotel where we lived. after breakfast, we began to our travel. first we took the bus to the sea park. there are so many different kinds of fishes that i couldn’t believe my eyes. we also saw the show of dolphins. then we had lunch in a restaurant. the seafood which was very famous in china was delicious.www

after lunch we went swimming. the sea was blue and beach was golden. we all enjoyed ourselves in the sea. finally we went back the hotel where we lived. we had a happy day.

in this trip, we also went to some places which were interesting and famous in dalian, went shopping and so on.

If one has friends from different fields these friends will help him with his personal development in the future. Third taking part-time jobs can reduce the financial pressure. Many college students still ask their parents for money. This can be a heavy burden to some families. But if the students can do some part-time jobs and make money on their own the family pressure can be relieved to some extent. Last but not least part-time jobs can help students to find out their strengths and shortcomings. When they overcome the difficulties they will become more confidence.

one of my happiest experiences is celebrating christmas in college.

since im in college, chances are high that there are other foreign students who have no family to celebrate with. So i gathered my friends, classmates and other Christmas-celebrators together and enjoyed the day. i also invited my local friends to join us. It is a great way to share your culture with each other. we hanged beautiful Christmas ornaments from dorm windows. we picked up some large poster board and markers at the bookstore and made signs that read, for example, “Just Say Merry Christmas!” we also taped one sign to dorm windows facing out for everyone to see. as for the celebration at night, everybody showed their talent. some were good at singing. some preferred to dance. i shared my jokes with foreign friends. the effect was good that it aroused a big laugh. but the more interesting thing i found was that some of my classmates didnt give their responses, for they didnt understand it at all.

this is an really unforgetable christmas to me. we all had a big fun on that day.

Secondly， during holiday， price will be rising drastically。 It is known to all that you need to spend much more to buy things or taking bus or any other transportation since many retailers will raise goods’ price during this holiday to get fat profits。

All in all， travel during holiday is not a good choice for us since its inconvenience in traveling among a huge crowd of people and also the dramatically high price for goods and transportations will let us pay extra money。
