I think we should understand that travelling should not be seen as something that is human-centered.

如今的无锡，让我不得不赞美它，美丽的夜景虽比不上上海，但它也是内地十大魅力城市哦!它的魅力还在它周围的那些景物。例如：蠡园，三国城，水浒城和唐城美丽的景物衬托着无锡，难怪无锡会这么有魅力!上海是个不夜城，这话一点没错。在美丽的外滩上，看着星光闪耀的东方明珠，一种想呆在上海，生活在上海的愿望会瞬间涌上心头。在东方明珠上看上海的夜景真是一种享受，波光粼粼的黄浦江，星星点点的灯光，会有一种很浪漫的感觉哦!我住的酒店在南京路，每个晚上都会去逛逛商店，感觉真的很好哦!!!

今年，爸爸妈妈和我一起去青岛旅游。

一共坐了一夜里的车才到青岛，虽然坐车很无聊。但是一想到要去那么好玩儿的地方，我就不由的激动起来。

终于到了青岛，大巴车先载我们到了戈桥那里，戈桥只不过是在大海上建了一座雄伟的桥。但是并不是从大海那边建到这边的，因为大海“一望无际”所以戈桥只是从大海的这边建了一段。在桥的尽头，有一座两层的庙，很雄伟。

中午过后，导游带我们到海底世界。导游说的一句话很有意思：“没有看过海底世界，就别说你去过青岛。”也就是说，海底世界是青岛最著名的地方。最著名的地方当然要去看喽！爸爸毫不犹豫的买了票。海底世界是在海底用结实的玻璃扩出一段空间，人们可以在里面走动，来观看海底生物。进入海底世界，首先引入眼帘的就是许许多多的、各种各样的鱼儿，有的鱼儿的鱼翅非常大，在水里扑闪扑闪着，好像在水里“飞来飞去”。有的鱼儿有鱼鳞，一层又一层，像个准备上战场的勇士……这么多的鱼，看都看不完，一个个从眼前游过，真是应接不暇。

第二天，我们在大海里游泳了，大海的水可咸了！大海里的浪很多，一个接一个的向我扑来。

美好的时光总是那么少，我恋恋不是的离开了青岛。

今天的心情真高兴，因为我和爸爸妈妈要坐飞机到青岛旅游。

我兴高采烈的来到了飞机场，到了这里我第一次看见了飞机说：“哇!飞机真大!”我登上了飞机，贴着窗户左顾右盼，在飞机里等了十几分钟，飞机终于跑起来了，随着速度越来越快，“呼”地一声，飞机就飞起来了。我望向地面，说：”咦，在地面上房子这么大，这里往下看房子怎么那么小呢!跟蚂蚁差不多大小。“我对着窗户一直看，忽然看见了许多云彩，这些云彩有的像棉花糖，有的像一只活泼可爱的绵羊，还有的像小船。

一眨眼的时间就来到了青岛。来到酒店我们准备了一下就去青岛极地海洋世界，一下车便看见一座庞大的建筑，矗立在蔚蓝的大海边。这里人山人海，非常热闹。当我们走进极地大厅，映入我眼帘的是一个雪白的世界。这里冰山积雪，雪花飞舞，我一下子仿佛进入了冰冷的南极。

我看见了可爱的企鹅左摇右摆的向我们走来，好像在和我们打招呼呢!还有北极熊站了起来，伸出白胖胖的小手，似乎在欢迎我们的到来。爸爸妈妈接着带我去演出大厅，观赏动物表演，进入大厅我迫不及待的坐了下来。第一个出场的是海豚，它的皮肤看上去又软又光滑，我想：”摸上去肯定会非常的舒服。它跟人一起表演空中飞人，还在水上表演呼啦圈、跳水等表演。全场响起了一阵阵响亮的掌声。接下来出场的是海狮，它们都在跳舞多有趣啊!

那里的海豚有那么可爱，那里的北极熊有那么的强壮，那里的小鱼有那么的活泼……

黄昏，街道上的车辆和行人越来越少了，海滩上的人却越来越多了，人们在海滩上玩耍，鸟儿在天空翱翔，太阳照在海滩上，金黄沙子便显得格外闪亮。

夜晚，喧闹的海滩平静了下来，大海变成了紫色，偶尔还能看到几只海鸥在海上盘旋，大海变得比早上更加的美丽，此时的大海，就像一个安静，乖巧的小女孩，盖着一条厚厚的被子，沉沉的睡着。

青岛遈莪向往苡久的地方，因为那里有蔚蓝的大海，壮观的大厦，巍峨的青山……没想到，今年暑假，莪竟有幸去青岛游玩。

8月5日，莪们中午12点从家里出发，先打的去义乌，然后找到去青岛的金华车。不一会儿，车上就坐满了人。1点钟左右，车开了，车子带我们上了高速公路，车开的很快也很平稳，非常地舒服。经过一天一夜的时间，就到了青岛。看到一座座漂亮的高楼，一条条清清的小河，感觉自己一下子就爱上了青岛。

来到青岛，莪发现这儿到处都能看见大海。莪们来到海滩，柔软的细沙像一个个顽皮的孩子，调皮地搔着人们的脚板。微风拂面，海上不时翻起阵阵浪花，从遥远的天际嬉笑着，追逐着，陆陆续续地扑向岸边。海边的人们有的在游泳，有人在做沙雕，海上总有一群接着一群的人在坐快艇，来来往往的人看得我眼花缭乱。莪们去了栈桥，走完了栈桥。莪迫不及待地来海边，莪和姐姐，还有两个弟弟在沙滩上挖洞，比比看谁挖的深。我们用手挖，用工具掏，苛起劲了。一会儿，堂弟就挖好了一个又大又深的洞，获得了第一名。我们挖完了洞，开始建造“城堡”。於是，我们开始建造“大城堡”，为了防止海浪涌上来。我们先挖一个大大的坑，在旁边用沙子建的高一些，当墙。卟久，我们就建造好了。浪一打来，这围墙就倒塌。我们就想了个办法，在墙上塞几块石头，显得更牢固一些。又一浪，还是把我们做的弄倒塌了，并把一些沙子冲进了海里。我们放弃了，放弃做城堡。好一段时间之后，我们依依不舍得离开了海边。然后我们又到了五四广场。广场上人山人海，非常热闹，来来往往的人们形成了一个欢乐的海洋。“五四广场”中央有一个大“火炬”，好像一团燃烧着的“烈火“。名字叫做五月的风。这是青岛的标志，茹菓你看到了这个标志，就代表你已经来到青岛了。我们在那里照了几张照片，还眺望了去年奥运会帆船比赛的地方——浮水湾。然后，我们就回家了。

这是一次难忘的青岛之行。

接着我们去看了海洋欢乐剧场，据说海洋动物剧场堪称海洋世界的点睛之笔，它是世界上大型海洋动物表演场馆之一。海洋世界还有精彩的五大展区，极地动物展区，极地童话城堡，神秘海兽区，精品鱼类区和海洋动物剧场。

再看这一排排整齐的水浒鱼游来游去，北极狼凶猛地奔跑着，有时呲牙咧嘴把我逗笑了，巨大的白鲸在水中盘旋，跟它相比，我仿佛小了许多。

虽然海洋馆的动物们活泼可爱，生动有趣，但我最向往的还是那一望无际的大海了。

一看到大海，我的心情顿时愉快了起来，心胸也变得十分宽广。湛蓝的天空与明净的海水连为一体，往远处眺望，水天一色，波光粼粼，不时还有几只海鸥在上空盘旋鸣叫。

海滩上到处可以看见人们的脚丫印子，沙子又细又软，踩上去就像是踩着棉花，舒服又暖和，海风在耳边吹过并伴随着一串串银铃般的笑声，我真想立刻投向大海的怀抱呀!我追逐着浪花，把沙滩翻了个底朝天，收获了许多的“战利品”，突然一个浪打了过来，我就像是一只“落汤鸡”，浑身上下全湿透了。我气愤地把海水踢起了浪花，可是却溅得我满脸都是海水。我尝了一口，皱着眉头大喊：“这海水也太咸了!”接着我又吐了吐舌头。爸爸笑着说：“那是当然，大海里有大量的盐分，不咸才怪嘞。”时间过得真快，一眨眼就下午5点了，最后我们依依不舍地回家了。

第二天，我和爸爸妈妈来到崂山，崂山和其他山不一样，它全都是用花岗岩组成的，光秃秃的山上没有郁郁葱葱的树林，只有生命力很强的几棵树，顽强地在石缝中挺立着。远处的山峰上停着几只小鸟，叽叽喳喳的，好像在说：青岛崂山的景色可真美呀。

Lying at the center of Beijing, the Forbidden City, called Gu Gong, in Chinese, was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Now known as the Palace Museum, it is to the north of Tiananmen Square. Rectangular in shape, it is the worlds largest palace complex and covers 74 hectares. Surrounded by a six meter deep moat and a ten meter high wall are 9,999 buildings. The wall has a gate on each side. Opposite the Tiananmen Gate, to the north is the Gate of Devine Might (Shenwumen), which faces Jingshan Park. The distance between these two gates is 960 meters, while the distance between the gates in the east and west walls is 750 meters. There are unique and delicately structured towers on each of the four corners of the curtain wall. These afford views over both the palace and the city outside. The Forbidden City is divided into two parts. The southern section, or the Outer Court was where the emperor exercised his supreme power over the nation. The northern section, or the Inner Court was where he lived with his royal family. Until 1924 when the last emperor of China was driven from the Inner Court, fourteen emperors of the Ming dynasty and ten emperors of the Qing dynasty had reigned here. Having been the imperial palace for some five centuries, it houses numerous rare treasures and curiosities. Listed by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage Site in 1987, the Palace Museum is now one of the most popular tourist attractions world wide.

Construction of the palace complex began in 1407, the 5th year of the Yongle reign of the third emperor of the Ming dynasty. It was completed fourteen years later in 1420. It was said that a million workers including one hundred thousand artisans were driven into the long-term hard labor. Stone needed was quarried from Fangshan, a suburb of Beijing. It was said a well was dug every fifty meters along the road in order to pour water onto the road in winter to slide huge stones on ice into the city. Huge amounts of timber and other materials were freighted from faraway provinces. Ancient Chinese people displayed their very considerable skills in building the Forbidden City. Take the grand red city wall for example. It has an 8.6 meters wide base reducing to 6.66 meters wide at the top. The angular shape of the wall totally frustrates attempts to climb it. The bricks were made from white lime and glutinous rice while the cement is made from glutinous rice and egg whites. These incredible materials make the wall extraordinarily strong.

Since yellow is the symbol of the royal family, it is the dominant color in the Forbidden City. Roofs are built with yellow glazed tiles; decorations in the palace are painted yellow; even the bricks on the ground are made yellow by a special process. However, there is one exception. Wenyuange, the royal library, has a black roof. The reason is that it was believed black represented water then and could extinguish fire.

Nowadays, the Forbidden City, or the Palace Museum is open to tourists from home and abroad. Splendid painted decoration on these royal architectural wonders, the grand and deluxe halls, with their surprisingly magnificent treasures will certainly satisfy "modern civilians".

My Summer Trip

I went to three cities to play during last summer holidays. They are Beijing, Dalian and HuHehot.

I went to Beijing more than eight times. Beijing is the capital of China. Its a big city. I am very familiar with Beijing. It takes an hour and forty minutes from Nantong to Beijing by plane. There are many tall buildings in Beijing. Its a modern city. My family visited the Great Wall, the Summer Palace, the Palace Museum, the Beihai Park, the Space Museum, etc. I went to the countryside of Beijing to go boating and fishing. It was very interesting. I went shopping in WangFuJing. I bought lots of souvenirs and other things. I like eating Beijing snacks. They are delicious. Dont mithe Beijing Duck. It is really nice.

Dalian is a beautiful city. Dalian is close to Beijing. I spent 5o minutes on the plane. Dalian is near the sea. I smelled the salty taste in the air. The roads are clean. There are lots of trees and flowers near the roads. There are many esplanades and Japanese buildings. There are some fountains in one of the esplanades. Some people flew kites and walked on the esplanades. We went to see the beach and the sea. The sea is blue. There were many swimmers in the sea. I lay on the beach to see the sky.Dalian is a very nice place to live.

Huhehot is in Inner Mongol. There are lots of large grasslands. The grasslands are endless. The sky is bright blue. There were a lot of horses and sheep. They were running or eating grass. I rode a horse on the graland. I picked some colourful flowers. We drank the tea with milk. There is a small desert, it was very hot when I walked on it. The sand could sing.

看车窗外，阳光明媚，百花争艳，太美了。这天，就要坐车去青岛了，在车上，我小小的心里充满了兴奋与期待，我东张西望一会儿瞧瞧这，一会儿看看那儿，一会儿又向爸爸提出一些古怪的问题。总之，我对青岛充满好奇。

终于到青岛了，我们在海洋馆玩，那有好多海里的动物，如：乌龟、企鹅、海狮、海狗、水母、鲨鱼、鲸、海马。我最先跑到盛放鲨鱼的水箱面前，水箱里有4只鲨鱼，两只爬在水底，似乎在睡觉，剩下两只则欢快的游着，游客们见了，不约而同，纷纷举起手中的相机，“咔嚓”“咔嚓”照起相来，那两只鲨鱼见了，不知是害羞还是以为游客拿的东西很危险，飞快的游着，极不配合。

我们又要到大海里游泳，在大海里特别难游泳，就是我这个游泳高手，也在哪吃了蔫儿。海里有浪，游泳馆没有。因为浪，让我喝了好几口水，没一会儿，我便走出大海，站在沙滩上吐，难受极了。

现在就要走了，可我还想在这美丽的土地上停留片刻，抛下心中那份恋恋不舍，再见了！青岛！再见了！亲爱的土地！

I love traveling. Traveling not only broadens my horizons but also opens my eyes to the world. Whats more, it refreshes me. You can go to Disneyland and experience what its like to be “a child again!” You can visit one of the “seven wonders of the world,” such as the Grand Canyon and feel the magnificence of nature! You can taste the “magicial” ice water on a glacier, which can help you become more beautiful and make you live longer. Just forget all trifles and burdens that you have in your mind. Experience is a type of living knowledge. Youll be sure to experience many new things when traveling. You dont even need a tour guide if you long for more freedom. Just dont forget to bring your backpack!

Last summer holiday, I went to HaiNan with my family. The weather was pleasant! The sky was blue more than I could describe, the sea was blue and bright more than I could believe. Walking by the sea is just like being in the oil painting! We sailed to an island called Xidao. I swam there. Swimming in the sea is quite different from that in a pool. Bedsides swimming, we also had a good meal there. We had a nice seafood dish.

And I bought back many beautiful shells. If you want to have a look, you may ask me. Or, we may go to Hainan together, for I am always hoping to come to that place again. I really like that place, a place of blue and brightness.

Last weekend I went on an eco-travel with a travel agency. All the way we enjoyed the beautiful scenery and fresh air. But a few of us picked flowers as while going sightseeing. Some even tried to catch the birds they saw. What was worse, many tourists threw rubbish here and there. The rubbish may do harm to wildlife there.

I don’t think this is a true eco-travel. A true eco-travel is a tour that not only allows us to express our love for nature, but needs our responsibility as well. As we enjoy the beauty of nature, we should try our best to protect it. And we should also try to protect wildlife. A true eco-travel should be like this: take nothing away but your good memory; leave nothing behind but all the green trees and the clean water.
