Now we are facing two problems of global warming and a shortage of natural

resources, both of which are getting more and more serious day by day. Thus, it

is important for us to promote a low-carbon lifestyle.

Low-carbon lifestyle covers many aspect of our life like transportation,

traveling, home-heating, and so on. In order to promote a low-carbon life, some

plans must be carried out as follows. Firstly, don’t waste any electricity and

water. Remember to turn off the lights and water taps unless we use them.

Secondly, we had better take the subways or bus to work, so as to reduce the

emissions of carbon dioxide. Thirdly, we should use cloth bags for shopping

instead of plastic bags, and use recyclable bowls and chopsticks instead of

disposable ones, for it can not only save resources, but also reduce pollution.

What’s more, it is of great significance to plant more trees, since trees can

balance the carbon dioxide emissions.

In a word, if we live a low-carbon life from now on, we will have a better

environment and more resources left for our descendants.

Nowadays, there are a considerable number of individuals who prefer to lead a low-carbon lifestyle which find expression in the fact that more and more commuters are using public transportation system in their daily life.

Low carbon lifestyle can endow us and our society with numerous benefits. Firstly, it goes beyond doubt that low carbon lifestyle contributes a lot to the environmental protection and it is a favorable way to slow down the rate of climate change of our earth, which also means a lot to our health.

We are supposed to undertake the responsibility to lead a low-carbon lifestyle, which is of great significance. And there is a diversity of measures we can take so as to lead such an environmental-friendly life. For one thing, we are expected to minimize the use of private cars, which emit a large amount of greenhouse gases. Im in my third year now in Environmental Sciences. And what do I want to do with my B.S. once I graduate? Become a librarian. Yes, I know it sounds completely random and unrelated, but thats my master plan. Right now Im preparing for all those crazy grad school applications that Ill be sending in next fall. I began thinking about what kind of skills I have and what kind of jobs would complement my natural interests. Ive thought about becoming a librarian dozens of times growing up but for some strange reason, I never took it seriously. But it popped back into my mind as I was contemplating all this. So I began to do some research and I also talked to a lot of family and friends. Its crazy because everyone I shared with gave me a lot of affirmation and encouragement about pursuing it! If theres anything you can get out of my strange journey I hope its the comfort and reassurance that you dont always have to know what you want to do in the near future. And its okay to change majors or even pursue a major that may not necessarily be related to your future career. You should enjoy what youre studying. But also seek after what you really love.

when i was in high school, I had to study all the time and hardly had spare time to do what i wanted to.Besides, I had to focus on my textbooks and doing exercise again and again. Depending on personal experience, personality type and emotional concern,

we find that some people hold the idea of living in the country, while others

prefer living in the city. In my opinion, I prefer the city life, though it has

advantages and disadvantages.

First of all, city life is very colorful. City is the center of the

surrounding area. So, it is also the most booming place having the best things.

There are many great things and wonderful activities in the city, while there

isn’t in the country. For example, there are KFC, wonderful shopping mall,

delicious food from various places, dancing club, different kinds of activities

and so on. We can also learn the culture from all the countries. Despite city

life is so wonderful, it still has many disadvantages. Nowadays, with the

improvement of people’s living standard, people have more cars and more people

come to city, and then the city becomes more and more crowd. As a result,

traffic jam emerges, which makes great inconvenience for people to go out.

What’s worse, the air pollution becomes serious day by day, which is bad for

people’s health.

To sum up, every coin has two sides. Living in the city also has good side

and bad aspect. Whether like living in city or not depends on individual

thinking. As myself, I like living in city though I know the disadvantage of

living in city.

三年前九月的那一天，我独自一人踏上奔向大学校园的列车，带着对大学无限的憧憬和满怀的激情迈入大学的校门。我不得不承认，在我眼前的校园与我想象了无数次的大学有些差距，但我始终不愿听到别人说它不好。大学生活就这样开始了。

大学第一年，略带稚气的我坐在教室等待教官的到来，准备迎接大学第一课——军训。别人眼里的军训又苦又累，可我偏对军训情有独钟，我喜欢穿着整齐统一的军装，喜欢喊着“一、二、三、四”的口号，喜欢像部队训练一样的生活。军训的日子里，我听从教官的命令，努力地练习队列动作，尽管脚伤后遗症一再复发，我仍然坚持训练。我喜欢这样充实的生活，也正是军训让我快速地适应了大学生活。

大学第二年，身穿教官服的我在体育馆等待新生报到，准备带领他们开始大学的第一课，我想，这是我的责任，也是我的荣幸。看到新生们一张张脸庞，听着他们一声一声的喊着我教官，我知道两个月的辅导生训练是值得的。回想训练时我也曾因为太辛苦而抱怨过、流泪过，但是我从未后退过，也从未后悔过，那时我说“身体疲惫，心却不累”。我知道这是我想要的生活。

大学第三年，看着周围的同学准备考研，看着我最好的朋友毕业找工作，我也给自己制定了目标，我要考所学专业的职业资格证书和人力资源管理师证书。有了目标，除了努力学习实现目标，别的都是无用功。在顺利拿到本专业三级证书后，这个我从未接触过的人力资源管理师专业让我发愁了，只有一个月的时间复习，着实担心自己考不过，正想闷头苦学一个月，却接到系里通知，让我去帮院里老师整理资料，结果只有两周复习时间，就差废寝忘食、挑灯夜读了，还好皇天不负有心人，让我顺利过关。这样忙中有闲的生活也不错。

如今我大四，即将离开生活了三年多的校园，不由感慨万千。三年多的大学生活，记录了我多少喜怒哀乐，又给了我多少收获，才让当年那个稚嫩的我变成现在这个成熟的女孩；三年的大学生活，遇到的或大或小的选择，都要自己抉择，才使我变得这样稳重。回想过去的一幕幕，我也曾迷茫过、无措过，但我的大学生活始终过得充实。我做兼职、竞选辅导生、选择当教官、加入学生会、为自己的目标奋斗，如此种种，我只是希望大学里比别人多一些经历，希望我的大学生活能够和别人与众不同，不求标新立异，只想毕业后能值得回忆。

Study comes first so I should make new goal and improve my study method.Hard will I study in the college as I do now.It is also important to learn how to live by myself .
