Well,I m going to travel to a beautiful place called Xiamen.I m going to take photos with foreign people because there are many foreign people in Xiamen.Im going to climb mountains,eat delicious food,buy some beautiful souvenirs there and Im going to stay there for one month.I think that will be a lot more exciting,wont it?So thats all,how about your summer holiday?

Beijing has a long history . There are lots of places of interest .

Every year lots of travellers go sightseeing . Last summer holiday , I went on a trip to Beijing with my parents .

It took us two hours to go there by plane .As soon as we arrived there ,we went to visit the Palace Museum and Tian’an men Square . The next day we went to the Summer Palace . The view there was very beautiful . We tasted many famous delicious Beijing foods . such as Beijing Duck .I also bought some souvenirs for my friends .Although we felt very tired ,we enjoyed ourselves very much .

I hope to visit Beijing again very soon.

有人喜欢如冰雪世界的哈尔滨，还有人喜欢如妙龄少女的杭州，但是，要问我最喜欢的城市，那就是有许多胡同，很多四合院的城市——对了，那就是我国的首都“北京”！

可不，今年的暑假我就去了北京旅游，呀！最先映入眼帘的是无人不晓的天安门，一走进天安门，迎面而来的是极为壮观的广场和建筑物，天安门的正中央挂着伟大领袖毛主席的照片，两旁分别是两句标语：“世界人民大团结万岁！中华人民共和国万岁”！毛主席曾经在1949年10月1日于此宣布：“中华人民共和国成立了”！他是中国的象征，是全国人民无比向往的地方。

随着4个小时的车程，还没下车，就听到了伙伴们的欢呼声：“快来看呀！这里有奥运鸟巢”！我们像小鸟一样，飞向鸟巢旁，我情不自禁的赞叹道：“真壮观呀！真华丽呀！”这时我听见了许多伙伴的议论“假如这是一个真的鸟巢，会有多少只小鸟，多少个鸟蛋啊！”

第二天，我们不辞疲惫的来到了雄伟壮观的万里长城。我早就听说过：“不到长城非好汉”，今天我也能当一回好汉，别提有多兴奋了。一上万里长城我就向上跑，跑了一会，我听见有伙伴说：“万里长城真长呀！真不愧是叫‘万里长城’呀！”

转眼间，两天的旅程就这么结束了，气势恢宏美轮美奂的首都让我如痴如醉，有所触动。我想，我现在一定要好好读书，长大了报效祖国，把祖国变得更加繁荣昌盛！

The Spring Festival is a traditional festival for all Chinese people. On

that evening there is a very traditional ceremony----Spring Festival Gala, which

is the favorite for many people. It brings so much happiness to Chinese all

around the world .

When asked about their opinion on Spring Festival Gala, people always

reason differently. Some people deem that it should be cancelled, while there

are also other people who argue that it should be continued.

Some people take it for granted that the Gala should not exist because it

is too boring on the evening of the Lunar New Year. Besides, the form of the

Evening seems the same every year. In comparison, there are, however, a large

number of people who hold a different view concerning this issue, they insist

that the Gala must be continued. They argue that it is one of the most important

celebration customs. And they think the Gala is worth expecting.

As far as I am concerned, I am intending to stand on the side of the latter

group of people. Admittedly, the former point of view seems reasonable, but the

latter is more persuasive. Taking the above-mentioned factors into

consideration, I can safely conclude that the Gala just needs a reform in the

future but not to be cancelled.
