My mother is the person who has influenced me most.

She is in her forties. She always listens to my problems patiently. And she

advises me how to solve them. As a doctor, she often says she can’t be too

careful. She often works extra hours. She has devoted most of her time to her

work. So I think she is not only a good mother but also a good doctor.

I hope I can be a person like her. I also hope she will pay more attention

My favourite great book is The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain.

Tom Sawyer is a lively and clever boy. He lives with his aunt Polly. His

aunt is strict with him, so he runs to an island in the middle of the

Mississippi River with two friends, Huck and Joe. With Huck, he goes looking for

treasure; with Becky, he gets lost in a cave. And finally Tom and Huck find a

box of gold. Tom is the hero of the story, but there are other important

characters. Becky is pretty with fair hair. Huck is Tom’s best friend, and Injun

Joe is the bad man of the story.

The theme of the story is to do with children growing up and becoming more

When my tenth birthday was coming up, I was happy imaging what kind of present my father would give me. To my surprise, Father gave me a set of books, which I was not very glad to accept. He saw what I was thinking and said kindly: "Dear, remember, books are the most precious fortune in the world, I am sure that once you finish reading the first book, you will be anxious to read the second one, then the third, the forth…" According to my fathers words, I have to give reading a try. And things really happened as he expected. Books indeed exerted a strong influence on me. From then on, I stepped into a new and wonderful world that books spread open for me.

在一个阳光明媚的下午，我兴高采烈的走向去往惠景书城的公交车站等待公交车。当我距离公交车站差不多只有100米左右时，我身后的一个坡上，发生了一件大事。

当时，我正满怀期待的走下了坡，一个9岁左右的小女孩蹬着一辆装满了水果的三轮车上坡。起初，我并没有在意，可是后来，出事了。当我走到公交车的站牌下时，一声刺耳的尖叫声传到了我的耳边。我一边站在烈日之下等车，一边焦急的想：小女孩怎么了？她为什么叫呢？发生什么事了吗？我越想心里越不安，连忙跑到坡前查看。只见那个卖水果小女孩连同三轮车正在慢慢地往后倒，卖水果的小女孩一脸的惊恐，她一边扶住车头，一边大声地对我说：“姐姐，我的车子掉链子了，快来帮帮我！”我二话不说，便冲上前去，用力的推着三轮车，可是，即便我是除了吃奶的劲儿，车子也因为载满了水果而增加了重量，仍然在往后倒。于是，我开始用求助的目光寻找帮手。

这时，一个大约30来岁的中年男子路过，我像见到了救命稻草似的，大声说：“叔叔，您能过来帮帮忙吗？”那位中年男子听见了我的喊话，立马走过来帮忙推车。有了这位中年男子的帮忙，车子很快就推上坡了。这位中年男子和我一样，全身都是汗，连头发都湿漉漉的。当我们准备离开的时候，那个小女孩看着满地散落的水果，不知该如何是好，我正想帮她把水果一个一个捡起来时，一辆126路公交车向我开来，停在了我前面的公交车站上。我的内心纠结着，到底要不要上车。中年男子似乎看穿了我的心思，大方落落地说：“那我就‘好人做到底’吧，小姑娘，你快上车吧。这里我来收拾。”我点了点头，说：“谢谢你，叔叔。”便上车了。

在我们的日常生活中，需要帮助的人随处可见，我们不能只是在嘴上说要助人为乐，但却没有做到“助人”二字的要求。我们应该在别人有困难时去帮助他，关心他，而不是装作没有看见似的样子走过。

The plan for the new term

Another new term comes again,so I should have a study plan to promot myself.

Firstly,I descide to finish my homework more carefully than before.And pay more attention to the knowledge which I didnt know it clearly.

Secondly,I will do a lot of read to widen the range of my knowledge,and try to combine thoery to practice.

Finally,I will learn to adjust, to be more positive and more helpful.

Thats what I plant to do in a new term.

Everybody likes smiling．But why do we smile？Smiling makes us attractive．We are drawn to people who smile．Smiling changes our mood，as it can trick the body into feeling better．Smiling is infectious．When someone is smiling they lighten up the room，change the moods of others，and make them happier．Smiling relieves stress．It helps to prevent us from looking tired.

Smiling makes us look healthier．It can bring us energy and pleasure．Smiling makes us become successful．Smiling people appear more confident，and are more likely to be approached．Smiling helps us stay positive．When we smile our body is sending the rest of us a message that “Life is good！”

So just try smiling our way through the day．Stay away from depression，stress and worry by smiling．Smile when you meet others．Smile in time of difficulty．Smile when you feel sad．Smile wherever you are and whenever you can．
