7月25日---8月3日，XX中学组织2014级高一新生80人在XX工商职业技术学院内开展为期10天的夏令营活动，根据活动安排，我负责对学生进行英语学法指导，根据新生特点，我提前制定了教学计划、教学目标。本次参加夏令营的学生为高一年级排名靠前的新生，为培养他们良好的学习习惯，坚强的学习意志，迅速适应高中学习，将来把他们打造成为品学兼优的尖子生。学生们的中考成绩虽然较好，但是英语综合运用语言的能力还很差，一到高一就会迅速滑坡，因此上好初高中的衔接课至关重要。

4节课内容初步安排如下：

第一节课

听说训练:以新学期，新环境为主题，师生互动，相互了解，鼓励学生大胆开口用英语进行交流，教师适时提供句型表达使交流内容丰满。

第二节课

说写训练：以新环境为主题，让学生了解修文及修文中学的概况，和学生一起讨论描述地点的有用表达，引导学生写一篇介绍修文中学的短文。

写后任务：

将写作评价表(自我评价和同伴评价)发给学生，指导如何进行评价，要求第二天交。

第三节课

短文改错解题指导。结合学生写的文章，找出常犯的错误，提前打印好有语病的句子，共同分析错误原因。

第四节课(讲座)

英语书面表达要注意的几个问题(主要结合高考评卷中反映出的学生答题出现的突出问题，提出平时学生在书面表达训练中应该强化训练的方向，应该积累的知识等等)

四节课的指导收到了较好的效果，学生从不愿意开口讲英语到能够比较积极的参与课堂活动，能够比较认真的完成布置的任务，大部分学生英语写作能力较好。

但是，在教学中也暴露出了他们的一些不足：

1. 学习的主动性和积极性还有待大大提高，良好的学习习惯还有待养成。比如在课堂上教师所讲的内容大部份学生还没有形成及时记笔记的习惯，老师提醒记下来才动笔，没有记完全的内容课后也不会找其他同学的笔记补充完整;老师要求上交的学习任务只有一半的学生能够按照规定时间上交，其余的是拖延一天才完成，学习上的紧迫感和竞争意识不强。

2.自主学习能力和合作学习需要花很大功夫培养。可能因为初中的学习多数时间都是在完成老师的任务，按照老师的要求做，很少有自己的“主见”，所以遇到放手自己安排学习和同伴合作时就无所适从，做得很不好。而到了高中学习阶段，这两方面的能力不能大幅度提高的话，学习的效果不会太好。

3.课外知识严重匮乏。主要体现在老师问到很多常识绝大多数学生都不知道。以往的学习还是只停留在书本知识上，可见有用的课外书的阅读量太少，知识面太窄。

这些不足将会严重影响他们今后学习迅速的提高，在今后的教学当中要针对性的，有目的的进行训练，要想又快又好的出成绩，老师的任务任重道远。

There is no doubt that human activity has an effect on the planet. We see the evidence of mankind’s endeavors all around us. While some of man’s accomplishments, such as the building of transportation systems and the consistent supply of potable water, have made Earth a better place for people to live, they have not come without cost. Overall, it seems that human activity harms the Earth more than it benefits it.

For example, the transportation systems that benefit mankind also create pollution and use up valuable energy resources. While we cannot do without transportation these days, we cannot ignore the fact that it has an adverse effect on the planet. Furthermore, those advances that benefit people do not benefit al the life on Earth. Deforestation endangers many animals, and mankind’s great thirst for water and other resources leads to the extinction of many plant forms. In addition, accomplishments such as the supply of potable water to a community are only response to problems that mankind created in the past. It was man that made the water unfit to drink in the first place. Finally, the damage that human activity causes will eventually have a negative effect on people. They will also suffer the effects of pollution and diminishing natural resources.

In conclusion, it seems apparent that man’s activity benefits primarily himself, not the Earth. Moreover, those benefits are only short-term advantages, and man will also suffer the negative effects of his activity in the future. The Earth does not have an inexhaustible supply of resources, so every effort should be made to conserve resources and limit the impact of human activity on the planet.

Last Saturday I joined a voluntary activity which was organized by the students union of our school. My classmates and I took a bus and went to the Animal Rescue Center in our city, where some stray dogs and cats are kept. As soon as we arrived, the workers told us how these animals were collected and what they did to help them. Then we were divided into small groups and helped them clean the cages. We were given some food to feed these animals.

I learned a lot from this activity. Animals need our care and attention, so we should devote our time to taking care of them.

Among various recipes one enjoys in his or her college life, recreational activities can by no means be ignored. It is numerous activities, such as spoken English competitions, sports events, and clubs and societies of different interests, that help to make campus life colorful and diversified.

俗话说：“不登天游

站在天游峰脚下，“壁立万仞”四个摩崖石刻让我胆怯：这么高，我爬得上去吗？但看到游客已像一条彩带挂在岩石上，我信心倍增了。

开始登山了。石阶弯弯曲曲，一层层向“天”上延伸。石阶两旁绿树如荫。更奇特的是那些树，有的像老人弯着腰，有的又像一座桥，从路的一边遮掩到另一边。这样，天气再热这里却清凉无比。爬到半山腰，出现了一座精巧的凉亭。造亭的人怎么那样聪明，他知道我要休息？坐在亭椅上往下看，九曲河像块绿色的镜子反射着阳光。一艘艘竹排悠闲地漂下，排上的游客似乎陶醉在这美丽的景色之中。或许他们也是被“不坐竹排，武夷白来”所诱惑吧。

我觉得学习和娱乐是能够共存的。在学习的过程中能娱乐，也能在娱乐中不断地学习！

Some students like to participate actively in after class activities. They think after class activities are an integral part of school life.

By going in for such activities, they can learn what they cant learn from books, which will be beneficial to them in the future.

Others, however, dont like after class activities at all. They think that a students work at school is learning theoretical knowledge and nothing else. Taking part in after class activities is a waste of the valuable time at school.

In my opinion, every student should engage in some after class activities because from these activities we can learn many valuable things that we wont learn in classrooms.

School is not just a place for learning the difference between "lie" or "lay", or what caused the hours of the daily schedule.

Finally, after class activities broaden our circle of acquaintances. No amount of ordinary school work can take the place of friends acquired in the informal familiarities of activities.

5月8日早上，我起得很早。因为这是一个特殊的日子——今天就要开始为期三天半的基地生活了。8点钟，校领导匆匆讲了几句注意事项，我们就出发去了教育基地。到了那里，我们就上楼放行李，确定上下铺。然后下楼开始了开营仪式。

当我们学校的学生代表接过营旗时，我暗暗对自己说：“一定要好好表现，为母校增光！”下午有远足活动，我非常兴奋。听说要走到新一中，我一定要见识见识这所重点高中该是多么宏伟。走了一个多小时，终于到了。啊，一个高大气派的建筑出现在我眼前。 有一个偌大的操场。我下定决心，一定要考入这所学校。第二天下午，快要吃晚饭了。上了一天的实践课，我非常累。可吃饭之前又要蛙跳。看着同学们滑稽的姿势，我们每一个同学都大笑起来，一天的劳累顿时没有了。第三天我们上的拓展训练课。最让我记忆犹新的是钻电网。虽然我没参加，但还是觉得很有趣。一个队伍有十个人，有三次触网机会。有几个人从下面钻过去以后，两边人齐心协力，把人从下面抬过来。让我们激动得心怦怦直跳，太高难了。第三天晚上是篝火晚会，有许多同学都表演了节目。宋柏翰的 Love me 更让全学年都为之疯狂——他唱得太好听了！短短的基地生活就要结束了，可我仍然回味无穷，体验生活的乐趣还不时在我的眼前一幕一幕地浮现，真舍不得离开这里啊。可我虽然离开了，但我还是学会了许多东西，以后，我会更加独立，尽早步入社会。

难得的一个没有作业的暑假终于到来。

暑假还未开始时，同学们就开始讨论到底该怎样过小升初这个轻松、快乐的暑假？去玩，去疯……这将是一个自由自在的假期！这将是一个属于我们自己的假期！

而我，早已默默做了一个不同的决定。我本来可以选择尽情娱乐，但我不想这样，我想走在别人前方。

初中，对小学生来说也许是个“恶梦”。试卷一大叠，考试一大堆，作业往往都得做到晚上八九点钟。我想让我的初中生活轻松一些，所以，我放弃了娱乐的机会，先走了这一步。

暑假里，我没有去报任何衔接班，而是买了几本书，自己在家学。上午学语数，下午学英科，中午时间下一盘围棋。这便是我给自己定的学习计划。我要让时间过得更充实，过得更有意义。

“make full use of time”，这是我在一本书中学到的句子，意思是“充分利用时间”。我特意将它写下，并贴在书桌上。它似乎有种力量，在我不自觉时将我的心收回。

偶而打开手机，看见几位同学将自己玩耍的照片发到群里：有的在逛街，有的在看电影，还有的在国外旅游……

看到这儿，我的心猛地一抖，问自己：“你明明可以选择像他们那样，在这难得的暑假尽情娱乐呀！那样没有丝毫的压力，多好！”

但我听到，我的内心给出了明确的答复：要知道，你现在只是扮演着追赶者的角色，一定还有许多同学在更加拼命地学习，为初中做准备。你要‘笨鸟先飞’，在其他人放松之时加快脚步，一举超过他们！

我本来可以尽情娱乐，但我依旧选择努力学习。我没有失落，而是热情高涨。我对未知的初中生活充满期待……

学习和娱乐并非两种不能有效结合的东西，如何将学习和娱乐有效结合，我们就要做到学习娱乐两不误。

能做到学习娱乐两不误的人一定有自己的方法，那么，怎样才能做到学习娱乐两不误，假期作业要完成，但玩一定也少不了，过多的学习会让人觉得累，压力大，但过多的玩会耽误学业，甚至引起与家长的争吵，所以，在假期合理安排学习娱乐，是十分重要的。

做到学习娱乐两不误，最重要的是有自制力，其次是有计划。先要定好合理的适合自己的计划，然后按计划完成，不要在学习任务没完成的情况下进行娱乐活动，也不要直接将计划丢弃在一旁，要按照计划，在坚毅的意志力下日复一日，充实整个假期。假期中应找到一个起点，例如从今年的1月25日开始，按计划进行，而2月25日之前，会仔细定制假期计划，学习计划、娱乐计划，都会有时间安排，精确到时间段，按计划实行，总会觉得很自在，没有学习压力，

没有想玩不能玩的烦恼，不会养成边玩边学的三心二意的坏习惯。

想要更多时间玩，就要提高学习效率，提高学习效率也有一定的方法——以学为先、随处学习、如不会和容易混淆的英语单词，将它们抄写在一个小本子上，可以随时随地的记忆；学会阅读、善做笔记、书写整洁、及时提问、学习互助，做到这些，提高了学习效率，减少学习时间，就可以有大把的娱乐时间，当然，关键是以学为主。

身为学生，学习是责任，爱玩是天性，当两者必须并存时，就要选一种好方法，在两者的领域做到极致，劳逸结合，两者不误，如果能做到这些，想必离成功不远了！

My teachers and fellow students，

In a couple of weeks， we’ll say goodbye to our mother school. How time flies! Now It’s really hard for me to put my feelings into words. The past three years has been really a wonderful journey with you guys， full of laughter and tears。

To make the journey safe and fruitful， our great teachers contributed their time， energy， love and the whole heart. Here， we are extremely grateful for all that you， dear teachers， have done for us。

It’ll soon be the time for us to depart， though unwillingly. But it is not the end. It just means that we’re going to begin a new journey。

Finally， on behalf of all the graduates present here， let me extend our sincere wishes for our mother school and respectable teachers. Thank you!
