可是有一天，这幸福、美好的生活被打破了：河边建起了许多工厂，成天向河中排放污水、有毒的化学物质。于是，鱼虾离开了小河的怀抱，河底的鹅卵石被弄的肮脏不堪，小孩子们也不来这儿玩耍了。每当人们从这里经过时，就皱起眉头、捂住鼻子。河里的水把村里的庄稼都害死了。小河现在变得臭气熏天，鱼虾都不见了。孩子们也不再来这里玩耍了。

我建议大家保护自然环境，保护小河，保护我们的家园。
