新中国成立以后，中央人民政府政务院于1949年12月将5月1日定为法定的劳动节，是日全国放假一天。每年的这一天，举国欢庆，人们换上节日的盛装，兴高采烈地聚集在公园、剧院、广场，参加各种庆祝集会或文体娱乐活动，并对有突出贡献的劳动者进行表彰。

圣诞节来啦!我在梦中轻声唤道，美梦中我享受着圣诞的快乐。

家里到处挂满了像星星一般明亮，像水晶一样透明的花形蜡烛。在最醒目的小厅里放着一棵穿着绿珍珠做的“上衣”，再套上一件用丝绸做的“小纱裙”，上面缀着五彩缤纷的九色花、会变色的星星和月亮，永远不化的雪花，摸上去，一点儿也不冷，还热乎乎的呢!这个世界上的东西都变成水晶似的，不时地发出悦耳的“叮当”声。

被工作弄得疲惫不堪的大人们，在这一天都和孩子们一起玩耍，在空中飞舞。玩具们都获得了新生命，已经逝世的好人们都回到了从前。

圣诞老人架着美丽无比的驯鹿车给我们送礼，还不时把香甜可口的糖果洒在路过的小道上。我多么希望圣诞老人能送我一本世界上所有人的文章集啊!
