I could hardly believe my ears. Tears streamed down my face. He wanted me - me! This man had no obligation to me but he was reaching out from his heart and I accepted. During the adoption proceedings the judge commented on all the undesirable duties of his profession and then with a tear in his eye thanked us for brightening his day as he pronounced us father and daughter. I was twenty-five but I was his little girl.

Three short years later Bob too was diagnosed with cancer and was gone within the year. At first I was hurt and angry at God for taking this father away too. But eventually the love and acceptance that I felt from Dad came through again and I became once more grateful for the years we had.

On Father‘s Day I always reflect on what I‘ve learned about fatherhood. I‘ve learned that it is not dependent on biology or even on raising a child. Fatherhood is a matter of the heart. Bob‘s gift from the heart will warm my soul for eternity.

今天，是我为爸爸过的第一个节日，我精心准备了一张贺卡，并用胶带在左上角贴了一片花瓣。它带着芳香，寄托着我的情意，随着风儿轻轻拂过，飘进爸爸那美丽善良的心灵。

温情六月，感恩父爱。当我在精心制作贺卡，写上哪一行行字迹时，我的手在颤动，我的心在跳跃，那真挚的话语不时的扣动着我的心弦！

其实，爸爸的爱也是温柔的——爸爸用它粗糙的双手抚摸我的头时；爸爸用他那温情的话语安慰我时；当他用幽默的语言逗笑我时……那个时候，我真正体会到了父爱也温柔。

晚上，我听见爸爸抽噎了，我意识到自己做错了，不应该说出伤害爸爸的话。

现在我长大了，我变的懂事了，成熟了，知道爸爸这么多年的不易了，每当我看到爸爸又多了一丝白发，增添了一丝皱纹，我就在心里暗发誓一定要好好学习，长大了回报他老人家。

我现在想对爸爸说：“爸爸，现在我长大了，能自己照顾自己，还可以帮助您照顾弟弟，您应该歇歇了。爸爸，我为以前我做过的伤害您的种种行为，伤害您的一句句话，感到后悔，在此真诚的说一句：爸爸，我错了。”

马上要到父亲节了，我要为父亲做点贺卡吧!于是，我便动手操作起来，因此，做了一个漂亮的贺卡。

过了一夜，我起床了，也不知道爸爸是怎么睡的，我担心这担心那，总是想让爸爸回来，于是，我打电话问爸爸：“喂，爸爸，你什么时候回来啊?”“我今天晚上半夜回家，你们先睡吧!”爸爸说。我又伤心又难过。又写在那张纸上：今天，我又失败了，爸爸晚上半夜回家，我的贺卡无法送到。这个故障更是让我伤心、难过。

晚上半夜，爸爸回来了，我把那张贺卡与那张纸放在茶几上。爸爸拿了起来。看了之后，哭了，他说：“孩子，爸爸以偶后好好陪陪你，不再让你伤心、难过。

一张贺卡换回了我还爸爸的亲情还是很值得的。我的爸爸、妈妈是最疼爱我的人!

晚上做完作业，时间还很早，我决定给爸爸妈妈过一个秘密感恩节。我拿出我装奖品的袋子，把奖品拿出来，然后把我回家画的画装进去，再在我的秘密百宝箱里拿出了幸运星、小花印章和一个青花瓷小珠子。幸运星在灯光的照耀下闪闪发光，青花瓷小珠子是大舅舅送我的，上面有美丽的桃花图案，我还有一个哩!小花印章是我以前最喜欢的印章。本来还想给妈妈送一块我和哥哥一起找到的像玉石一样的石头，但是后来一想，觉得不合适，就把它从袋子里拿出来了，放进了百宝箱，接着我剪了两个爱心，上面画了两个气球，然后，把它们一起放到爸爸妈妈的房间里，再剪了一些箭头，从大厅摆到爸爸妈妈的房间，爸爸妈妈看见了，立刻来寻宝，当他们看见我写的“笑”时，笑了起来，我立即给他们照了一张难忘的、模糊的纪念照……

我相信，这个难忘的感恩节，肯定会被照片和日记记录下来……
