The Spring Festival is our Chinese lunar New Year, so is very important for our Chinese New Year! Therefore, the preparation before the Spring Festival is also indispensable.

The New Year! The New Year! Every family is busy to stick couplets on the Spring Festival, shaved hair, do dinner... Too many things to do, and have too many "rules". Some custom also very strange, in desperation, I ask mom is to stick couplets on the Spring Festival.

I saw mother stick to "f" word backwards, I do know why to stick, stick backwards f word is a kind of custom, f (show f down (to)! But I still asked, "whats the Chinese New Year customs and manners?" Mother stop working, patiently to talk to me.

Originally, before New Years day there is a custom of setting off firecrackers, comes from the story of "the year beast". Once upon a time there was a "nian", deep sea floor, long stay in the New Years eve is splendour as evil everywhere. One year an old man with shooting, in red, put red couplets on the Spring Festivals approach is driven "nian", which was able to calm, then this method will spread. New Years eve this day is very important to our country. On this night, our whole family to prepare used orientation, special dinner.

People is both enjoy a full table delicacies, and enjoy the joy of the atmosphere, there are chickens, geese, burning meat on the table, etc., generally without two things, one is the hot pot, is a fish. 过年了!过年了!家家户户忙着贴春联，剃头发，做年夜饭……要做的事情太多了，而且“规矩”太多了!有些习俗还很怪，无奈之下，我就去问正在贴春联的妈妈。

我看见妈妈将“福”字倒着贴，我固然知道为什么要倒着贴，将‘福’字倒着贴是一种习俗，‘福’倒贴说明‘福’倒(到)了!但我仍然问道：“过年有什么习俗和规矩啊?”妈妈停下手中的活，耐心地给我谈起来。

原来，以前过年还有一种放鞭炮的习俗，来源于“年兽”的故事。很久以前有一只“年兽”，长期居住深海底，到了除夕就跃出海面到处作恶。有一年一个老人用放炮，穿红衣，贴红春联的方法驱赶走“年兽”，这才得以平静，此后这个方法就流传开来。但是现在广州禁止燃放烟花爆竹，所以我们就不再进行这个活动了。

除夕这一天对我国来说是极为重要的。这天晚上，我们全家准备除旧迎新，吃团年饭。

吃年夜饭，是春节家家户户最热闹愉快的时候。大年夜.丰盛的年菜摆满一桌 ，全家团聚，围坐桌旁，共吃团圆饭。人们既是享受满桌的佳肴，也是享受那份快乐的气氛，桌上有鸡、鹅、烧肉等等，一般少不了两样东西，一是火锅，一是鱼。火锅热气腾腾，说明红红火火;“鱼”和“余”谐音，喻意“年年有余”。最后一道甜食，祝福往后的日子甜甜蜜蜜。

今天我的收获太大了，知道了很多过年习俗的知识，不过我觉得有点迷信，但这又仿佛是一种乐趣，只要快乐就好，何必迷信不迷信?更何况这是传统的习俗，宁可信其有不可信其无啊!

一天晚上，我爸爸对我说："今天晚上咱们不做饭了，去我爷爷我奶奶家吃吧!"我听了，心花怒放，因为我又能见到亲爱的我爷爷我奶奶了。

一进家门，我就看见院子里一只德国牧羊犬和一只美系金毛在打闹。见我过来，也不打闹了，蹦蹦跳跳地朝我扑来。这时候，我奶奶从屋里走出来，把狗赶走，把我拉进餐厅。

餐厅的方桌上摆满了五彩缤纷的饭菜，有我最爱吃的热气腾腾的羊杂汤和香喷喷的可乐鸡翅。我爷爷坐在桌子旁边，我奶奶和我坐到我爷爷的两侧，我爸爸我妈妈坐到我爷爷的对面。

饭桌上，我们一边聚餐一边聊天。原来，我爸爸给我爷爷我奶奶买了一套房子，想装修时贴上壁纸。我爷爷夹了一口菜放进嘴里边吃边说："我看贴壁纸工钱太贵了，刷上白漆就行了。"我爸爸一本正经地接过话来说："贵点就贵点吧!反正是自家人住，该花就得花。"我妈妈接着说："就是就是，还要住几十年呢，花着也值。"我爸爸我妈妈说的话，我奶奶都听到心里，微笑着说："我们岁数大了，喜欢干净简洁的，能省就省点呗!"我爸爸放下筷子，郑重地说："贴上吧，贴上好!"

听了一家人的谈话，我看看我爸爸我妈妈，又看看我爷爷我奶奶，突然明白了什么，就随着我爸爸说："我觉得也是贴上好!我爷爷我奶奶，你们别管了，就让我爸爸我妈妈看着装吧!"我看到我爷爷我奶奶的脸上挂着欣慰的笑容。

这顿饭，我不仅吃到了可口的菜肴，还感受到浓浓的亲情，明白了晚辈对长辈的一片孝心。

The Happy Spring Festival Spring festival is on the first day of the first lunar month. Chinese people most like the Spring Festival. During Spring Festival, Chinese people like having meals with their families, playing fireworks in the open air. My sisters and I played fireworks on that day. We had many fireworks. They were very beautiful. They were running into the sky and breaking into pieces. They looked like flowers in the sky. We were very happy and excited. After that, I made a wish. I hope that, we can have a happy and healthy life next year and everyone in my family can be happy. I enjoy the festival very happy.

Spring Festival is the most important holiday for Chinese people. Excitement and happiness are palpable this time of the year， and they reach the peak on lunar new year‘s eve.

Though the 15-day period， which starts with the first day of the lunar new year and ends on the 15th day (known as Lantern Festival)， is relatively long， it is the busiest time of the year for Chinese people. The arrangements they have to make for family reunions， buying necessities and preparing food keeps them busy throughout the holiday. Many of them travel back home and meet friends over dinner and drinks. The celebrations include decorating the house and setting off fireworks.

But we are talking about a tradition that seems to be fading.Spring Festival， as it is celebrated today， has undergone many changes， thanks to the country‘s economic development and globalization.

Yet no Spring Festival is complete without food. People could not get good food whenever they desired in earlier times， something that does not apply to society today. More often than not， people faced the risk of famine. The best time for people to celebrate was when food was available in plenty， and that was possible in spring， or the beginning of the lunar new year. That was the main reason why Spring Festival acquired such great importance among Chinese people.

But three decades of economic growth has ensured that people in China， except for those who are still poor， can enjoy a good meal whenever they want. Such has been the change in people‘s fortune that some have to be treated for obesity and other health problems associated with excessive eating.

In the past， celebrations were limited to events like song-and-dance duets in North China， dragon/lion dances in South China and fireworks， which required the joint efforts of the entire community. But economic development and urbanization seems to have weakened the social links among people. Many， especially those living in cities， are not interested in celebrating the festival with people they hardly know.

Many customs associated with Spring Festival have changed， too. In the past， people used to visit relatives and friends with gifts and lots of good wishes. Today， many people， especially the youth， use their cell phones or the Internet to send their good wishes and even "gifts" to their relatives and friends. Some may say this a sign that people have become less caring about their near and dear ones， but we should see this development as a time- and energy-saving exercise granted by the information age.

In recent times， many people have started praying for a career promotion or more money instead of invoking God or the Buddha for a healthy and long life and the welfare of their family. But the number of such people is decreasing now， which shows that people are becoming more reasonable.

诚信就能引发一场国家的战争或许你会说:“开玩笑吧怎么可能呢?”如果你仔细想一下这真的有可能如果人与人之间只用谎言来交流谁会相信你呢?你又去相信谁呢?这样的国家迟早都会被灭亡。但是在如今的社会当中却有这样子情况，相互欺骗相互隐瞒，这样子的罪状数不胜数。或许一次两次你侥幸逃离，但是你绝对不可以抱着侥幸的心理来继续做事，总有一天你将为此付出代价。

苦海无涯回头是岸，早知当初不如诚实守信的去好做每一件事情，答应别人的事情一定要做到。虽然我不能承担你会得到好的结果，但我可以保证你能安安心心的过好一辈子，你不亏欠别人别人也不会亏欠你，这样不就行了吗?

诚信的道路其实离我们并不遥远，诚信的美食依旧是那样的香甜可口，诚信的诗歌是如此的美妙动人，让我们一起与诚信相伴一生。

Today is Halloween. We wear all kinds of masks, wear colorful clothes and go to school.

There, the foreign language teacher came in like a ghost. He was dressed in flawless white clothes and white powder on his face. The foreign language teacher came at him like a wild animal and scared us to run around. The foreign language teacher was so shocked that he laughed. 到了下午，外语老师给我们介绍了两个人，一个是米丽，她打扮得像个小巫婆。还有一个是白比，他打扮得像个小博士。他俩拿出一大袋糖，洒了儿把，糖果像雨点一样地落下来，我们以闪电般地速度冲过去抢糖。

时光过得真快，一转眼就放学了，看着装得满满的口袋，我心想：这个万圣节可真开心啊!我最喜欢万圣节！
