新中国成立后，“中国人从此站立起来了”，但我们面对是“一穷二白”的境地。1949年，当时中国的国民生产总值仅700亿元，人均国民收入只有27美元，远低于当时整个亚洲44美元的人均收入。为了使广大人民摆脱贫困，使祖国迅速强大起来，在中国共产党的带领下，中国进入了一个探索的时代，也进入了一个创造奇迹的时代。在一穷二白的起点上，我们用了短短30年的时间，经历了种.种挫折，实现了巨大的成就。到20世纪70年代中期，中国不仅已经能够制造喷气式飞机、重型拖拉机、铁路机车和现代海船，而且还建立了完整的工业体系与国民经济体系，为社会主义现代化建设奠定了物质技术基础。改革开放以后，在党的领导下，我们破除阻碍国家和民族发展的一切思想和体制障碍，开辟了中国特色社会主义道路，使中国大踏步赶上时代，我国的经济实力、科技实力、国防实力、综合国力进入世界前列。2010年，我国已成为世界第二大经济体，到2017年，我国的国内生产总值已达到80万亿元，人均国民收入已超8000美元。

上述一系列伟大成就的取得，正是中国共产党不忘初心、牢记使命的具体体现。2017年10月，党的十九大召开，夺取新时代中国特色社会主义伟大胜利、实现中华民族伟大复兴中国梦的奋斗号角已经吹响。我坚信，在中国共产党的带领下，在习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想的指导下，不忘初心、牢记使命，中华民族伟大复兴的中国梦必将实现!
